  1. Yeah... I realise now there were many other routes I could have taken, but that was the first one that popped into my head.
  2. No, I wasn't asking for a bronze med helm or 10gp or anything (lol), but just him trying to make the effort to have a conversation with me, and/or say thanks would have been nice. I wasn't expecting any rewards at all, but good point, and thanks for making it.
  3. That is very nice of you, and I hope you raise your target money. Do you live in London? I do! I wanna run the Marathon when I'm 18, so I've got 3 years left to train..
  4. Lol yeah... what we do for our masters hey? Anyway, I'm off to bed as I live in England, but I'll check post in the morning to reply to all of you guys' wonderful comments!
  5. Love to read about how people enjoy RS, not about how they find it annoying... I mean... why play it otherwise?
  6. Lol! I have edited it now! Never thought of that actually, but comon running through them wouldn't hurt, and as he wasn't wearing anything, it might have been better if he had died... that probably would have been closer to Falador anyway...
  7. Well... I was in Ardougne North Bank, planning to go range some hell hounds with a friend, when I see a level 11 newb asking people to take him to Fally. No one is responding, so I asked him what his mage level is, to see if I could give him the runes to tele, but it was only 7. When I was level 13, a long time ago (I think it might of even been back in RSC), I got lost in Rimmington, and was stuck there for days, not knowing where to go, without the aid of any maps due to my old computers 'speed'! What I'm trying to say is, that I felt sorry for him. I messaged my friend saying that I would be right back, and told the poor guy to follow me on the long trek from Ardougne to Falador. Off we set, and I tried to start talking to him, but all I got was one word answers. Slightly annoyed, by his lack of appreciation, I shut up and just kept going. As we approached White Wolf Mountain, he suddenly stopped. I told him this was the way to Fally, but his reply was 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh', and then he ran off back to Ardougne! Now I know my expense was only 5 minutes and 2 law runes, but it's just the fact that I had gone to the trouble to help him, and I get not even a word of thanks! I can now see why many older players who have been playing since RSC, or who are just mature children/adults (I'm 15 btw, and have been playing RS almost since the beginning. My stats don't show this due to my inactivity on and off for the best part of 3 years) think that younger players, often reeled in by MiniClip, are ruining RS. Thanks for reading, and all comments/sympathy are welcome. Sam
  8. Yeah, I believe they did. I see what you mean Bloodveld when you say it would screw with the economy though... Anyone else have any thoughts?
  9. Lol! I agree with the other guy's idea though.... sounds a good idea to prevent people loosing their most valuable possesions
  10. Another prime example of what I'm talking about.
  11. Thanks for coments guys. Of course they can't monitor street prices what with all the changing, but just a basic hierachy system to avoid people loosing their best stuff. I'm not sure if this is true... but rune would probably be saved instead of a party hat... and what if your computer laggs when you have a random? You have just lost alot of money.
  12. Note - This might have been put in the General Forum, but it involves member's items, so I thought here might be more appropiate. When I say priority, I mean the hierachy of items that are kept when you die... If lost you will understand in a second. I recently died without a skull, and instead of keeping my obby cape, obby shield and 2.8mill I was carrying (I know you can't keep stacked items, but maybe they should change this too?), I kept my rune plate, rune legs and dragon battle axe. Now at the time I died, if I had kept the items I wanted to keep, I would have 3.8mill in items and gp roughly. However, the fact that I kept the unwanted items (not unwanted, but you know what I mean), means that I was left with only 300k in items. This was quite annoying. I was just wondering whether Jagex should attempt to change the priority of items to match the prices on the street of RS.
  13. Very well written. By the way though, there are 6 million active RS accounts, not 2 million, making it 3 times as hard for Customer Support than the article suggests.
  14. Good luck... I blew like 5k chaos there and didn't get anything good too.
  15. When I was like level 40 back in RSC, someone said if you want a million gp change your pass to millions (on RSC you could do that ingame), and press ALT+SHIFT+F4, which of course closed the browser which gave him time to take all my stuff. I now know ALT+F4 closes the browser lol! Did recoverys and got my account back with all my noob stuff gone, including my rune long!
  16. Another great post by the Leesters! Once, in Fally East, some guy who is now on my friends list, gave me some free runes which he had no use for. I was really thankful, popped to my own bank and gave him an addy kite (t), which I also had no use for. He was really chuffed as at the time, he was only like level 47.
  17. Lol... I think he just wants membership accesible to his/her character. By the way, unless you're American, you spell it 'favour'!
  18. No specific item I can think of, but I think they should release another holiday drop which can be traded, as this would be quite interesting to watch the price changes over a certain ammount of time, and also because it would mess with the RS economy, which frankly, I think would be quite funny.
  19. Haha great funny story lol, and I completely know what you mean where your brain tells you not to, but you do it anyway! I did that once in the exact same place, but just managed to get back to Ice Giants and Warriors, because I had food left.
  20. It is true that the number of high level players (lets say over 90 combat, because, as mentioned in a post above, in RSC max was 100 for some period) you see around the RuneScape world has rocketed since RS2 was released, but there is no need to complain, because it is still achievement, with time and effort still having to be put in to achieve a high level.
  21. Well... I never knew you, but I have seen you on forums alot, and I'm sure the Tip.It community will be different without you! Good luck in real life!
  22. Sorry... just had to add that it would actually be: ''Too' dangerous to trade' :D
  23. I've been playing since RSC... not since the beginning mind though... I had many great friends back in RSC, especially one called Virus64... I remember when he made me full mith! I was sooo happy!
