had a great day today; i wrecked kids in search. one game, it was 1v1, the kid planted on karachi at B and hid upstairs in that window thing overlooking the bus. i heard him swapping weapons like a [wagon] so i looked up and headshotted him with my trusty spas12 at a range that shotguns should not be effective at. then, the bomb had 5 seconds left as soon as i picked it up to defuse. i was like "oh what the hell, why not try". got the defuse literally as time ran out. CLUTCH. another great game was on sub base on defense. 3 times on D. first time, there was one guy (didnt have ninja pro lol) and i had planted a claymore near the silo area bomb on the right side (where the BMP was). i heard him run for like 20 sec, and i could tell he was coming out of the warehouse. i look left at the stairs that go straight to the bomb from the little platform, hear him make a turn right, i turn around, my claymor blows up, almost kills me, hitmarks him, and i knife immediate after the claymore goes for GWKC. next round, it was 1v1 again. was in the same area, except i saw the kid on radar tubing from next to the BMP. i went to the warehouse with that minisub and looked out the window that looks across at the other building. i saw him run towards the bomb, and heard him climb onto the platform. i took out my shotty, aimed at the door, as soon as he comes in, BOOM! done. last round, our whole team decided to stay back, so i put down a few claymores. i mightve killed all 6 guys this round. lets see....first kill was the tuber who was tubing from behind the BMP on the right side. 3 round burst FAL, done. next kill was from the minisub warehouse window looking towards the left (and the stairs leading up to the 2 structures with AC units on top). head shot through the window. then i saw my teammate die by the door leading to the catwalk that goes across practically to the other side of the map. i run up, look out that doorway, hitmark a kid with 2 shots, run back into cover because his teammate was also there and shot me a few. then my claymore that i put near the bomb on the right side blows up, giving me precision airstrike (and pred). call in the airstrike on the catwalk. it almost kills me, but the guy was unscathed. i pop back through the door, and i kill him as he tries to run into cover back to the little alcove. that gives me harriers. call in harriers on the bomb site in the middle of the map, kill the last guy. talk about PRO.

you can do it! you're following more in Shahdie's footsteps than mine, and that path is more rigorous than mine. I'll check you blog once you've achieved 99 mining!

I know my stats are lackluster, but most of my time was devoted to mining. i only wish i couldve achieved at least 1700 total before i left. i guess i didnt. good luck on 99 mining to you too, though you might not need it anymore. i saw you were close, keep going!

they gotta fix that too. if you are the initial cause of the flares, if it gets shot down after the flares are spent, it still counts as your kill as you were the one that used up one rocket to get the flares to deploy. AC130 would be a different case.

So, as you all know me, I am Atom_Smash40, (aka MiningIsDead). I started playing RS in March of 05 (yes, I have the illustrious Rubber chicken), and I gained membership about a year later. I took a hiatus from summer of 07 to fall of 08 due to me losing 50M worth of gear stupidly at Tzhaar (including an 11M Guthan's set and 5.5M Dharok set and 2M Ahrim set, and some other valuable stuff). When I came back, i started to make all that money back, and I soon found that you could now own capes for each skill provided you had 99 in said skill. I thought, which skill do I love the most? It was a tie between Runecrafting and Mining. I saw that the benefits of Runecrafting heavily outweighed the ones of Mining, but I went with Mining because I remember that I had trained that skill the most when I was F2P, and I was a big fan of Seer coal trucks before I took that year long break. So I started to get 99 Mining. Took about a year, a little less, from 70-99, and I mainly did granite (I also did gold at the Between A Rock mine from 80-84 and a mix of addy and mith in the desert mining camp 84-85). During the summer of 09, I was so obsessed with achieveing 99 Mining that I even scheduled each week day to mine for at least 4 hours with as little time for breaks as possible. Can't say I was proud of it, but it worked, and I got 99 Mining on August 30th, 2009. Not long after, I decided to trim my cape with another skill I enjoyed in the past. Crafting. I mainly did Air battlestaves, but that was slow and though I profited, I realized I did not have time to get 99 Crafting before my membership ran out. Now, I would've renewed, but I got an XBOX360 during that summer that I achieved 99 Mining, so that was taking up most of my time, and I started to play RuneScape less and less. Eventually, I made my way to 85 Crafting and 89 Magic during the time I did play, and I stopped there, seeing as they were pretty decent levels, and that I could not afford the faster way to 99 Crafting nor did I wish to extend my membership to allow for more time to craft those battlestaves. So I decided that enough was enough, and I was going to leave the P2P version of RuneScape forever. 99 Mining was my real goal, the other ones were really just something to keep me occupied, and after I got 99 Mining, I found less enjoyment in this game (most of that is also due to the Living Rock Caverns reducing the skill I once loved to one of the easiest 99s to obtain. People say "A cape is a cape," and while that may be true, this also applies: "It's not the destination that matters, but the journey." Another major factor was seeing my Santa go from 14M to 118M, and all that money I could've had due to douche bag hoarders and the broken GE). I do intend on slowly achieveing 99 Cooking while in F2P, though I won't kill myself over it. It's only for sentimental purposes as I do enjoy cooking in real life. It has been a pleasure being apart of the Tip.It community, the best community in RuneScape hands down, and though I don't see eye to eye with many of you, it's good to know that I could rely on you to aid me whether it be a quest or treasure trail or buying something off the GE that I already reached the limit in or whatever else. Thank you all for the good times and free chats when I was rotting my brain 5 of 7 days during the summer weeks. It's been a real pleasure! You mean the Prestige challenges, right? The gun challenge for the Stinger is like 100 helicopters, which isn't all that hard if you just play normally and change classes every time there's air support when you die. 500 for the Prestige challenge would be a pain. i was thinking about doing stinger challenges.....i have like 30 hahahaha. i mean, you kinda need sleight of hand, so no scavenger for extra rockets, and OMA replaces recondary so no free rockets that way either, and it seems that whenever I do respawn and get ready to shoot the damn thing down, either some [wagon] teammate without CB runs by and I die too, or another kid on our team shoots it down first.

I have the same feeling. i was close to getting mastery for WA2K, but i hate how when i spam for FMJ kills, i only have 6 shots, and when i want FMJ kills, i spam (when I dont really try for them and just take them when i have the opportunity, i strategically fire. for example, i saw a kid climb into the rocket ship, and i had FMJ on my barret. i was on the right side relative to the rocket ship, meaning the opening at the tip was perpendicular to the way i was facing. i waited for his gun to pop out, took one shot, FMJ through the side headshot the kid. was a beautiful shot.) 6 shots for FMJ spam is too little :|

get a job working for JAGeX after college! that way you can combine work and pleasure! i'll never forgive you for tarnishing my achievement, but best of luck to you in the real world. it's very scary, but when you're armed with a college diploma, anything is possible!

pretty decent, ill give 7/10 man, if that bank is good for his stats, then my bank is ridiculously *rich* for my stats. something like 1430 total with a 54m bank

i don't know if JAGeX is doing nothing. because i had a jmod come to quarry mines after i reported a person for botting there. it was obvious they were botting, i even went to their side and stole their rocks; they didnt complain like smart people, they just kept going on the same rotaion. then, when they got randomed, it took them literally 30min to come back. i'm sorry if you're "AFK" when you get randomed, but you don't take 30min to log back in, especially if you were mining the instant you get randomed, meaning a) you were at your compueter since you were doing something or b) your bot was doing its work and got randomed and you were gone and came back 30min later to find your character autologged out in a random event. i'd choose b) because if you really were at your comp, you don't take 30min to finish a random if you were engrossed in an activity.

sorry, I am an amateur when it comes to video game company names, what is DICE? and i saw a preview for this game last week. actually looks pretty legit. but i think it tries to imitate the MW2 story too much of having special forces work behind the scenes to take down an enemy....it does look better (graphically) than MW2 and BFBC2 combined though

wait, wouldnt it be easier to shoot semi-auto with a mouse than it is with a controller....?

why do [wagon] have to lock up cool GTs? of the 5 new GTs i want, 3 of the 5 are locked up in accounts that havent even been played on since their creation. the other 2 are still active. honestly, if you are away for say 6 months from any form of microsoft gaming/media (PC, xbox.com, 360), your name should be purged and other people can use it.
