After digging through this thread, it seems most likely that the ruins were one of the Dragonkin's "strongholds". Could the dragonkin be underneath these ruins, or in Morytania? These two places seem most likely to me...unless they are tied to Lucien in some way...

They do seem to have an aura, but it might just be because they're just so darn evil. (Or so darn ugly...whichever.)

First off if this has already been posted I apologize. I just recently finished Summer's End and went to claim my reward in the spirit realm. When I came through the portal I immediately saw this... I recognized it as the symbol of the Dragonkin in the new quest. So I looked around and found 3 more symbols: None of the symbols are there in the real realm. Did anyone see these before? Did Jagex recently add them? Did we know they were there and just not know what they were? :ohnoes: What do you guys think?

You do that quest in a different house though. :-k Oh right...my bad, I got the Explorer confused with the White Knight guy. #-o Since we now know it's not part of the Halloween quest, what could it be?

I think the quest symbol signifies that this is where you "do the quest" for Learning the Ropes if you have already passed Tutorial Island.

Probably with some successful art or music career. But seriously though, since I've semi-retired from runescape I don't feel the motivation to play it anymore and I get a lot more done (even if most of it has to do with wasting time on facebook)

My gut instinct tells me it's part of the minigame because it seems to match the "decor" of that room. Like its blocky style and color scheme.

Just did the agillity event...scored 1255, and got a ringmaster hat! :D I did emotes til it said they wouldn't count anymore then just juggled chins. The audience wasn't happy but apparently the ringmaster was. :thumbsup: edit: just got a clown hat, did emotes and alchemy on the lvl 99 anvil, only splashed once.

It all depends on how similar it is to the old pking style. If the rewards aren't as spectacular, close to no one will come back I think.

I know this isn't really anything to do with it, but what's that blue thing on his arm? =/ Looks like rune gloves to me.

Interesting ... is the place exactly identical to the mithril cave we have now? or is this glitchy one tweaked a bit? Because if it is slightly changed it might be the replacement for the current mithril cave, with the mith door openable \

The white [bleep]e on the left shoulder is just what the D Chain looks like when you walk wearing it, the top of the shoulder goes back so the [bleep]e rendered on it goes back too. Definitely a d chain.

[/hide] why are you doing lvl 1s? mtk? yup, I get lvl 1 clues from having a full bar on fish, they seem to be especially bad clues because I never seem to get just 2 of 1 item from H.A.M. scrolls :-#

Bh is very easy to transfer through...Jagex counts on people being afraid of the risk of losing the items they're transferring to stop people from doing it.

When skill capes first came out, the fletching skill cape was attainable only in the ranged guild, which was a pain for lvl 3 skillers and a "d'oh!" moment for Jagex. But they fixed it a lil bit later. :)
