RuneScape Information

  1. I would fill that space with more book-reading or a bit more housekeeping I guess. I really have no problem with the amount of RS I play. I average about 30 minutes a day and play probably 5 days a week. My brother introduced me to RS when I was so sick for months that I really couldn't do much, even reading was hard to concentrate on. Back then I would play just about anytime I felt well enough to be out of bed. Now that I am doing better I have cut back tremendously and fill my days with other things too. I really don't have an addictive personality. Those who do should try to recognize this in themselves and find other things to do. Easier said than done, I realize, especially if there isn't much to do around where you live. I'm a lot older than most players so the things I can suggest to do may not be of interest to all of you, but try a new hobby maybe? Or yeah, if your school work is lacking, definitely work on that :P . -Rayn.
  2. I must agree with most of you, the maze has been very rewarding for me as well. Though I do like the gems I get from Molly and some of the others when I go to craft jewelry. Again, I must agree with the consensus. The swarm is absolutely useless at anything but being absolutely annoying! It bugs me to no end (pun intended ;) ) -Rayn
  3. Knights, castles, dragons and monsters. Taking a ship to tropical lands. Throwing a fish onto a fire to cook. -Rayn.
  4. Wow, it's been a while. I graduated in 1994 :D . I actually had to go and get my high school year books out. The high school I started at was the Pirates, the high school I graduated from was the Rangers. Darned if I can remember the colors of the first, but my graduating HS was gold and white. I don't remember my middle school or one of the elementary schools I went too, but my first elementary school was the "Shooting Stars" and our colors were black and gold. I don't know where that popped into my head from after all these years. That brought back memories ;) . -Rayn.
  5. Nah, pennies cost .7 cents to make. Well, apparently here in the U.S. they've decided, once again, to keep the penny despite the fact it sometimes takes more money to make it than it's worth. Sources http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/sns-ap-lincoln-penny,0,86419.story?track=rss and http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-ed-pennies23-2008sep23,0,6621478.story. I wish we'd do away with it and just round to the nearest 5 cents for pricing. It would make more sense.
  6. I'm another saver. What doesn't get spent (usually the pennies) gets put into the coin jar and, eventually, taken to the bank. My mother is another saver. She recently called me and told me that she finally took all the change she'd been saving for at least several years to the bank (she's the type that spends the dollars and throws the coins on her dresser or in a drawer). She said it came to almost 1000 dollars. Talk about saving! When my Grandmother was younger and my Grandfather was still alive, they'd make coins into jewelry, belt buckles, cuff links, etc. -Rayn.
  7. Hey, I kinda liked Chrono Trigger and it's sequel Chrono Cross. But then, back when I first playing games the Atari home video game console was still relatively new . . . I look back at some of the old games bad graphics nostalgically and, though I still love to play (mostly xbox360, game cube and PS2 on the rare times I play console), find it hard with some games that have extremely complicated controls/battle setups. -Rayn.
  8. No. But, at my age, I'd be thought pretty silly if I did. It was hard enough for me to get used to the shorthand in the game and on the forums. I am not much of a browser online and RuneScape fan forums were the first forums I'd ever been on. I actually looked up Wikipedia's Runescape dictionary to help me understand the lingo better :o . Sad, I know. -Rayn.
  9. Items. Because I'm working on Construction and it is so expensive! I only have a little over 2 mil in cash as a result.
  10. Cooking, because it is a skill I enjoy in real life as well. I also enjoy working on Construction to see my house grow, but I hate how much it costs. -Rayn.
