So I haven't played in probably a year and a half, the combat update was in the beginning of Beta. I basically need a recap. I understand the way combat works, so I'm good there, but as far as what items are killer now vs what got nerfed I'm clueless. I'm melee based, all high 80's and 99 def. What do I need to know? Yeah, I just recovered my account. It was really simple. Gave a few old passwords and an approximate date of when the account was created and I was pretty much let back in around 10 minutes later. Glad I got it, but jeesh was it easy O.o Wouldnt be suprised if people found a way to fake recover accounts somehow. Like, type random crap info and wait til they can change a password. But Im also not tech savvey, that may be impossible! XD

theres no "active agreements." when I try to cancel the membership, must have used a card. Can anyone confirm that?

Should I go in an cancel the members subscription that they left me with, or wait for it to run out? I dont want whoever hacked me to have any say over the future of the account, or if they could somehow reaquire it.

So yesterday I decided to get on RS for the first time in a nice few months, only to discover my password doesnt work. Thinking I just forgot it, I did an account recovery and was able to get into my account. Only to find that I now have 97 Defense (previous was 85) and 91 Constitution (Also 85 before hacker). I did lost all of my items and such, but luckly he had left me enough green D hide and Dragon bones to be able to recover the important stuff. My question to you, how would YOU feel if a hacker had made advancements onto your character without your knowledge? Im kind of dissapointed, myself.

I think alot of opposition is coming from people who werent around pre-ge. I think free trade made the social aspects of the game actually...exsist. And I think that the old wildy should exsist on PVP worlds and then on non PVP worlds keep the revs. I think that'd solve alot of problems. But free trade is excellent. In the actual post jagex said "we have evolved in the way we combat Real World Trading". So, even if thats a lie and a miserable failure on their parts, at lest they accept the fact that they cant combat RWT anymore. And, I think free trade will fix the RS economy a little bit. I mean, no more junk trading and people actually bargaining for items will help make rares buyable. And it will stop rares from just dissapearing. If someone with a Phat decides to quit, at least they can give it away rather than let it rot in the G.E until the end of the world.

Apparently someone on the RSOF hacked the website and got all the coding for the page that you vote on, but at the same time he seems like kind of an idiot. I think someone who would understand it should go check it out and spill the finds with us on tip.it. XD

Free trade is a win, but why not keep the PK worlds and have some worlds without pvp? I think thats a way cooler idea, personally.

I just think it was more fun when you were forced to have player communication to succeed.
