geekoverlord
Just wondering if Torags is still like, the top armour for defense? 98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER!Runescape has policies now?First barrows drop 12/12/08 - Aharims Robeskirt FTW XD
Leik
Well, no, Torva is the best armor for defense. But that's only available if you have ~950m to spend. ;) But realistically speaking, Torag's is the best armor for defensive stats. However, Bandos is considered the overall best (reasonable) armor as it provides good defensive stats + slight strength bonus. LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. Although you should stick with Barrows until you have all of the useful buyables out of the way such as turmoil, overloads, and 96+ summoning. Then it's alright to get Bandos  Hexiled Razz. JohnTheCop
or have bandos and use your extra money for the stuff above instead of breaking your bank for em "Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances."Benjamin Franklin "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."Albert Einstein
Star_Fox
If your budgets a little tight, don't hesitate on Bandos. They're like what, 33m for the set? Every Tom, [bleep], and Harry can afford that without going broke. You may try Torags but why would you do that if they degrade and offer no offensive bonuses? Torva is obviously too expensive for the average Joe andyou may not like Dragon a whole lot because it offers no offensive bonuses and not to mention how hideous it looks. LitterBug
or have bandos and use your extra money for the stuff above instead of breaking your bank for em Well, if you're training slayer a lot - a good idea is to work on getting your herblore/prayer up.It's fine if you keep a bandos set to use for tasks. However, when you have enough to get to extremes/turmoil (by selling the bandos) you should go ahead and do that.Extreme/Ovl/Turmoil are all better DPS wise then bandos. Not everybody is rich and for those starting out - Torag would be a good idea (although you're probably fine with Verac's - for the prayer bonus)There isn't much that you can tank (when on slayer wise) that wouldn't necessitate using protection prayers. For those that you would need good armor for (that is, pros just won't cut it) - Verac should be fine. AHappySeeker
or have bandos and use your extra money for the stuff above instead of breaking your bank for em This makes no sense to do whatsoever. It would be better to buy Bandos while saving up for the above things, then sell Bandos as soon as you can afford them with the money from the sale.
