"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
I think the biggest issue on this topic is just the difference between countries/cultures. From where I'm standing I see little wrong with it, but from where Noxx is standing, even if he is progressive, he lives in a country where not to long ago a cultural norm would have been needing a family member in the room for a women to date. (sorry if I am completely off centre but am using general knowledge of similiar, but hardcore, countries in that region and presuming Qatar is much more progressive)

I'm more thinking muggi would pull the, "wouldn't happen if it was polyamory," card.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
The articles posted are ambiguous. One was a study, one was an example, one was a general article written towards any person. Regardless, as I wrote above, I wish you the best of luck with your new therapist and I hope you can someday come back here and help others that find themselves in your current situation.

If you read the blackdragon article, the first one, it talks about all of that. He makes a very good argument and point as to why instead of claiming these as bad traits and wrapping yourself in them as a blanket of protection, you should instead strive to succeed despite these feelings or shortcomings you may have. Just because you can list these negative things that doesn't mean you don't have anything positive going for you, it just means you're creating excuses where you should instead be striving to make up for those things. You can't choose the hand you are dealt in life you just have to play with it, bluff your way through if you can. I honestly can't say that I've ever dealt with depression, or really felt the way you sound writing these posts, but I can say that I don't like to hear of anybody having the issues you are having or the crisis you are having. I really hope that with some good therapy or some spark of motivation caused by and external factor you come out of this attitude you are currently in.

http://www.blackdragonblog.com/2013/03/10/making-excuses-or-overcoming-your-personal-shortcomings/ http://www.blackdragonblog.com/2014/09/25/even-homeless-guys-get-laid-but-this-is-still-not-what-you-want/ tl;dr everything in life-- both your successes and your failures-- are entirely your fault. The sooner you adapt that mentality, the sooner you will be happy and successful. But as long as you continue to believe that everything in life is beyond your control and everyone else's fault, you're doomed to remain depressed. Don't know about Horatio but I appreciated those articles Muggi, so thanks.

How do the sandbags help? If all the power is to the front wheels and they can't grip the road, aren't you kind of SOL? Isn't 2WD generally in the rear wheels?Unless it would be something like a really small Mazda all trucks should be rear wheel drive when 2WD. Therefore the sandbangs add weight on the driving wheels providing traction. That being said most newer 2WD cars, including the new ford police cars, are front wheel drive for whatever difference it makes while most older cars were rear wheel drive.
