Depending upon the situation Rocks can fall under each of the other 3, hence its own category.

Was just wondering, based on current stats that are in sig hour many game hours, approximately, do you guys think it would take for me to max? If a stat isn't ranked you can essentially consider it as being level 1. I plan on working towards max and wanted an approximate figure for how much of my life I would be sacrificing. Any answer would be appreciated although I do understand that I am asking a relatively difficult question, at least from my perspective.

Bonez899's Journey to an Eventual Max

For those of you who think I've fallen out/off, I haven't. Currently I am at level 65/70 fletching with materials banked for 70. Just need to get going on it. I finished 4th in the woodcutting competition with 640% xp gained in 4 days along with 20 levels. I find this placing of 4th impressive because everybody above me was at least 8 levels higher than my finishing level of 80. I've been participating in some slayer of late aswell. It is alright cash at my level, well not really but, where I generally haul in 30K+ per invent of kills. I also have set a goal to have all skills reach 40+ which is why some skills have moved marginally up in levels to accommodate this, the skill I'll probably get last is farming because I haven't bothered to even start on that yet, plus I'm thinking it is/will be slow xp. Regardless, goals at the moment go: 70 Fletching, 54 Crafting, all skills 40+, 99 Woodcutting, 99 Cooking, 99 runecrafting. -
*BUMP* The herblore calculator *NEEDS* to be updated. Just today I was in a chat with someone who spent 7mil on supplies before realising that the item wasn't even the one he wanted to be making because he was buying wrong supplies.

TBH flipping is not for everyone ... 10 years and I still can't figure out how to do it properly ... There are hundreds of guides on it and it's not particularly complicated. The only hard part is sticking to it. As someone interested, do you happen to have a guide you recommend or will any do?

More woodcutting. I wasn't on much today due to life, but shit happens. So far since the start of the wc competition in my new clan I've gained 309% of my xp and reached level 73 wc. Hope fully another 200% xp gained before the end of the competition. When that happens I will be moving on to fletching for a bit and then crafting just generally looking to gain a few levels. -
Is U-turning not a thing where you're from? Sure it is, but I'd expect them to know where they are going and not have to do so XD.GPS is only so good. Plus they may have just got the call and had to turn around. Context is all.

Gained 71 WC today. Great on that. I'm around 3rd for the contest but not far ahead of 4th. Overall having a good time and a good excuse to bust out the wc xp. I've earned over 500k woodcutting experience in the past 2 days. On another note I have purchased into my bank the supplies for 54 crafting and 70 fletching. Both of which I will (hopefully) be completing by the end of this bond. -

Join Modest Skillers as a clan and jumped into the first clan comp, Woodcutting. So therefore I will be spending the next little bit grinding out the wc xp in hopes of doing something. Otherwise I will be continuing on with it. I just cashed in a bond so I figure I'll spend the next 14 days on afk woodcutting and just see how far that gets me. All of my skills will have to be trained at one point or another, so why not now? Regardless this is the first and last bond I will be purchasing/using instead I'm just going to spend the $8 and use my money to purchase membership. -
Looked into it. Only thing on that is you can't RMC if going for MD, but regardless it is an option I will most likely pursue or look into regardless. Yes we do use grades in Canada, regardless one of the biggest issues I have is wanting to duck out on university but thinking I'd be doing something wrong by doing so. At the same time, meh. I do everything except the extra curriculars now and that is mostly because my school offers very few extra curriculars that I am actually interested in. That being said, I do partake in activities outside of school. Friggin Ontarion-centrics! There is a Canada around you :P. I live out on the east coast in Nova Scotia. Other than that, thanks for the clarification on that matter Rob. No problem, I tend to think everyone on the internet lives in the US so.... Thanks for the advice Nekyia.

I'd have to check into the community college transfer stuff. I'm not sure if it works the same in Canada as US. As for trade school, with apprenticeships and connections I already have quite a few be it by relation or what not. But the networking part of your advice is something I should do regardless of what I choose and what I do. I don't think networking has ever hurt anybody. I hear what you're saying, and understand it. Only issue is that I would like to know so I could plan out what actions I'm going to take/what I plan to do. I really don't want to just sit here (in time, meaning present) just doing what I can to be generally healthy and prepared without some set plan or at least vague end goal to be working towards.

Bonez899's Journey to an Eventual Max

More levels, more quests. Today I did Let Them Eat Pie and Rune Mysteries. Finished superheating my first 10k steel bars. Gain several woodcutting levels, and achieved 30 ranged, so officially all f2p skills are 30+. -
Well, to sum up the options I keep coming back to, in order they would be: [spoiler=long part here]Medical Doctor- Pros: Good pay, I like helping people, good pay, I like employing skills such as those that would be needed, love learning and soak up knowledge like a sponge Cons: 8 years of uni, 2+ years of residency afterwards, cost (although socialist Canada FTW) Firefighter - Pros: I love the activities, nothing is more fun/bad ass, I like helping people and the community, could get skills for essentially free, I know I would enjoy the job Cons: Next to impossible to find a job in this anywhere! I would have to work my ass off to find a job let alone land it Soldier (grunt infantry) - Pros: Little education needed, I'd get to shoot lots of guns, I already know I enjoy many of the required activities Cons: a cop out, I would feel like I was wasting my skills to a certain extent Paramedic - Pros: Like a doctor I can help people and use skills similar, easy to get knowledge on (father has been one for ~25 years), pretty good pay for education needed Cons: very few actually, just not something I can exactly see myself doing for years on end Numbers persno of some sort - Pros: Decent money, computer use Cons: I would be bored out of my mind.... Just can't see myself crunching numbers all day Gain skills, start own business - Pros: can learn skills for little money, starting business means a flexible schedule, earnings are up to me Cons: Probably hardest path, a lot of work needed to start, most dangerous idea listed. Thank you Steve, I have been and will continue to drink water each and every day. Hmm, taking a trade does interest me (see Gain skills, start business above) and that is an option I have thought of. Only issue is, really it is peer pressure and I know better than to let it in, that I am a person who does really well in school without trying and have friends who at least do well in school and preach the uni is the only way. Along with (read: because of) that I almost feel like I would be wasting my time if I didn't do something that would be going to uni and wasting my potential mostly. If you still have two more years of high school then you're in an awesome position. Expand your interests, try new things. Try and take a variety of subjects next year in high school and find something you like doing, and try to learn things on your own. Eventually you just might find something that you're especially interested in and you can go from there. On another note, I just received a $8000 scholarship ($2000 per year for four years) so I'm a lot less stressed out about finances than I was an hour ago. Today is a good day. Only issue is that I have found many things that I am interested in and have a passion for. More or less anything that involves working with your hands, creating something, or helping somebody I am interested in doing. From the list above I am interested in and have tried out/learned skills about something listed there. I have my First aid, soon to be upgraded. I am working towards my level 1 firefighter (NFPA 1001). I have helped my dad out with carpentry/mechanic/plumbing-ish work before and know how to use tools. I probably know the ambulance lay outs around here better than some paramedics due just because of exposure. I was in cadets for many years and am now joining the reserve force. TL;DR I have done a lot of stuff and found many interests. Hey, most of this advice has been useful. Even replying to this advice has been useful at this point.

I'm currently contemplating what I want to do after school. I have 2 years before I finish high school but I would like it if I could make a final decision as to what to do.... So many options of what to do, especially since I get relatively good marks, so I just can't decide. I've narrowed it down to just a few options, but even now I can't decide. Doubt I will decide ever though, just pick one and hope it gets me where I want it to get me... Any advice on this matter oh wise OT'ers?

Bonez899's Journey to an Eventual Max
Bonez899 replied to Bonez899's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
So, was planning on taking pictures of each completed quest, but I am terrible at taking pictures. The short of it is that I have set into completing all of the f2p quests which I approximate will take about 4 days at my current gameplay rate. Along with that I have about 3k alchs to complete and working on achieving 68 woodcutting. I really don't want to waste a minute of members time when I can do a task in f2p. I don't care that much though, I just hate parting with my money even when I want to part with it... -
I'd imagine the rest room isn't that bad. The human anatomy takes more than 10 minutes to digest the food, so unless these people come back day after or for both breakfast and supper the restroom should be relatively good.

Bonez899 replied to Bonez899's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Well I am currently invested in some super heating at the moment (bought pre 99) but I will heed your adivce. Any advantage to finishing all the f2p quests before going p2p? I should have good enough stats to finish them all/enough money to raise what few levels I need. -

Thank you. I may very well do that. I'm currently trying to decide whether to cash in my bond right now or work my way along the path to 99 magic since f2p and p2p are comparable so far as I know. (non-combat spells whiile profiting a bit) -

A smithing level, 95 firmaking, and a magic level or two have been achieved today. I have started doing some superheating when I get tired of firemaking just to break the cycle. Along with that I should make at least 100k on the 10,000 super heats I have purchased making steel bars. No pictures though. I hate that fact.
