You have to play on Runescape 3 and I think at least create your character/complete the tutorial. Only after that you can access OSRS on that account. I'm not entirely sure about this solution though, as I've only seen the problem being mentioned before in the OSRS forums.

Heyya You need to log in to the main game first and create a profile there. I think you can leave once the tutorial starts, and that should allow you into OSRS.

Merc>Arcane for basing Last night I used 2 food in 5 kills with merciless and unicorn (1 was because i got a red at start) It pushes your defence that high that Vorago will actually consistently miss? That's pretty cool.
