  1. Seems like a good idea :) Sadly, I don't have an oven here. TNPW include two opposing emoticons.
  2. Cruelty scrimshaws go for 2m, so yes, relevant!

Huh, I thought you were a member all along :P That explains why it felt like I hadn't seen you around for a while.
  6. http://momsdish.com/recipe/251/ferrero-rocher-cake-recipe TNPW show a dessert worth trying.
  7. TNPW outline how they would propose
  8. Tip.it still has a calculator for OSRS, which works with armour sets. http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/max_hit_calc.htm From some fiddling, it doesn't appear to matter too much what your total LP is. Could try playing around with the values on that!
  9. what's RSC? I said it was supposed to be an equal and fair combat triangle, not that it actually worked in the slightest. There was no combat triangle in RSC, pretty much. Melee was the only style you'd use, you had ranged to fire maybe one hit before the battle started (unless you were piling in the wilderness) and magic was just a supplement to melee, being cast alongside it. Only in RS2 did Jagex try to come up with the notion of a combat triangle. When they added black dragonhide, ranged instantly became one of the better classes because you could get incredible accuracy on top of quick hits, plus the 35% MSB spec got work done. Anyway, most combat updates in RS2 tended to push each class further into its corner of the combat triangle. Melee had low-maintenance weapons with rapid and high damage output, Magic was always the most expensive class with a good variety of AOE/extra effects, as well as the highest (but most expensive) DPS option, and Ranged was the retarded kid that had incredible accuracy but low strength, whose only saving grace was lucky specs for huge damage (MSB, dark bow, dragonstone bolts, hand cannon). Of course, melee got arguably the best corner of the triangle with all the gear they were constantly receiving, though updates towards 2011 and 2012 pushed viable gear to the other two classes at last. Clearly, each of these classes had something unique to fall back on, which made combat more interesting. Your suggestion, though complex, would have also been a good direction that they could have taken the game, to carve out further niches and unique options. At the end of the day, though, this update turns the combat triangle into a combat pancake*. Every class ends up homogenized in damage output and abilities, and the only "triangle" is simply that some weapons hit better against some armours. It's a pretty artificially enforced triangle. This is probably off-tangent from what you were discussing, but oh well. *Originally used term in the 2012 Combat Beta FAQ.
  10. Even without his stream I'm certain his clan would help him out. Is that more legit and respectable? This is an MMO after all. He's utilizing that fact. No different than paying essence runners back in the day. Or Suomi's C2 woodcutting.
  11. Just played Crucible Deathmatch mode. Easily the most fun I've had in PVP since Clan Wars white portal in 2008-9. Some power-ups are pretty insane, like Chicken Army which lets you spawn an army of chickens (?!), Overpowered which lets you hit around 4 times harder, and of course the power-up that turns all your foes' food into cabbage.
  12. Okay, five. I did one memory per 20 minutes anyway.
  13. Perhaps they should just replace all of your items with kittens and/or puppies, rather than kick you out of the game. That would allow you to reach your daily happiness quota more effectively than just kicking you out. "FFS another puppy????" >Seismic wand turns into puppy.
  14. My point was that this issue isn't solely Jagex's responsibility; it's also up to the players to figure out how to allocate their time and attention in order to have as much fun as possible while playing. Because if you're not happy while you're "playing," then why are you even playing? :P Like Platinum said, though, I think psychologically players don't feel comfortable doing things in RS that don't utilize their efforts, or even worse, don't benefit them in the long-run in some way. If there was a CW-esque game without any requirements, people probably wouldn't play it these days unless it gave XP rewards or something. But that would be somewhat contradictory to the game's original purpose. What Jagex should do is force players to hook up electrodes to their heads and feed the data back to the client. The client can then monitor whether you're happy enough to be playing Runescape, and if you don't pass a minimum threshold, it throws you to the lobby.
  15. Detonate is still shit :P
  16. [qfc]360-361-663-65346821[/qfc] Sick to [bleep]ing death of them reworking everything. This time they go all the way down to the most basic abilities like Slice/Wrack/Piercing Shot which haven't been touched since the dawn of EOC. On the plus side the defensive reworks look good, especially the shield tier related ones. Oh yeah, better sell ascensions/wand@@@@
  17. So your whole data pool is having crappy luck with uncapped rewards, and the other data pool (xpx, soccerdies, kags, other big names etc) are having no trouble consistently generating their last uncapped rewards? :s Maybe you could just try capping yourself and see what happens. Give up the +10% boosts for a while and see where it gets you.
  18. You unlock it by completing a four hour grindquest.
  19. That's probably fine by him too because hardly anyone would give a crap about your definition of a failure. -> My Settings -> 'Ignore' Preferences Go forth and block.
