I swear Aled Alig was first to 99 fishing. Ffs checked it up and it was Tks :( Aled was #1 for quite a while in RS2 with 60M or so XP.

What? Just change from the Classic camera to the RS3 one. I'm not sure if that is what he's talking about or not. The camera doesn't really do much with walking--but neither does RS3. Unless he's using the HTML5 client or something, there's nothing in the RS3 update that has changed the pathfinding AI or walk animations. Perhaps there's lag or something else going on that is causing this? There was a slight change to pathfinding for some reason - player characters can cut some corners that they would previously would have to move alongside and around. It also adds a delay for some reason. This occurred a week before RS3, though.

Some people will do anything to get a nice looking rank, legit or not, as evidenced by the PVP kills seasonal highscore.

Presumably if at a later week some other families get displaced, they'll simply be able to move into the shelter. I guess some options would have short term costs but long term paybacks. I definitely didn't vote expecting there to be any tangible in-game reward. As it is we already got bonus XP for our choice :P

You can get it back from Perdu in Edgeville now I believe, so it's much more convenient to replace.

It IS classed as Hybrid. Ooh, just looked at the picture again. You're right, that does make them marginally better, and it'd be definitely worthwhile to get the boots and gloves to supplement your secondary defences.

The main problem with Hybrid armour is that it's All classed, which means that the defence ratings all around aren't great. Warpriest would have the melee defence of dragon, the ranged defence of black dhide, and the magic defence of grifolic (?), which makes it almost garbage. If it was actually classed as Hybrid, like the Tokkul-Zo ring, it'd be so much more worth using.

Why'd they have to slap that blue circle onto the skillcape? Didn't they learn from what they tried to do to Prayer/Thieving etc? :P

Two icons for Convict and one for Biologist? Seems like some adventurers are harder to attract, and you've had really bad luck by the look of it.
