Reqs are raising and I'm getting: 16k single stat 9.5k double stat 8k triple stat But they're usually still doable with like 70%+ success. Though it is tempting to shell out on deck item upgrades, they're only worth at the most +400 in a stat over the previous region's items, which is a +2.5% boost to the single stat mission success, and I'm not willing to choke up 1500 jade on each one yet. I only bought the Hull of Glory upgrade so that I have a morale-based hull that is at least close to the combat and seafaring hulls. 72% to Pincers isn't that unreasonable lol, Woox is currently expected to reach the Pincers today :razz:

I got 3 of each basic crew member, 2 judges and the hull of glory upgrade, and since then have just been saving for the 4th ship. I've got 3 10k captains, all specialised in one of the three main stats, so speed usually isn't an issue (getting 6:57 consistently, except on the 14h voyages). You could consider getting a jade golem as that gives a better total stat increase than a standard crew member, plus it works well with the judges' solidarity.

28% to the Pincers and I've collected about 11200 jade throughout, so it's possible I guess. Small matter of backtracking to get more cherrywood though :razz:

I'm worried that you might need multiple jade statues (trade good reward boost) to get even 1 extra good from the trade good missions, given how the cherrywood tree (resource reward boost) gives a miserable 1% boost. If the effect is so small that you'd need 4 statues to get +1 plate on a 8 plate mission, I can't see myself saving 15k jade just for that.

Watched a few vids of Kalphite King, interesting to see that it makes use of several standard abilities itself (noticed fragmentation shot, combust, incendiary shot).

These planets do some pretty cool things, like Saturn being all ball of gas with its sparkly rings (incidentally it looks like a sticker from a telescope), but the transits of Venus are totally awesome. The last transit occurred in 2012, and the next isn't going to happen for quite a while. You can view the transits of Venus from certain locations on Earth. Early astronomers observed the transits to determine the size of Venus and its distance from Earth. The unfortunate Guillaume Le Gentil spent eight years travelling in an attempt to observe two of the transits, in 1761 and 1769. His unsuccessful journey led to him losing his wife and possessions and being declared dead. Learnt this stuff in a university module I took two years ago. TNPW share something they've learnt from any of their more interesting academic subjects.

I was just about to post a picture of Mod Easty saying this, which is quite depressing. I think the developer who did up the interface (which was released mid-Beta) meant for the armour value to be displayed this way - prior to the interface update you'd have armour with 5500 armour rating getting absolutely wrecked by a rapier with 800 hit bonus, so the interface shaved off the last digit to reflect the actual defensive value of your armour. The last digit remains on the tooltip because it's much nicer to have 297 as opposed to 29.7 Shows some pretty bad communication if Mod Easty genuinely thinks this is a bug (as this feature has been around for about 4 months?)

Master wand/Ahrim's wand are horribly bad for accuracy now, I'd not bother with those. You'd have to get a Virtus wand if you want a decent 1h mage weapon now, and staffwise SoL/ABS/Chaotic are the way to go. edit : sfudsfifnds didn't notice the new page.

Kind of depressing that Tetsu armour looks almost rusty now, was looking forward to the vibrant colour scheme. Can't imagine how mad all the guys getting the headband are though l0l

Drygore weapons have a whooping 4957 accuracy, head and shoulders above the 3043 of chaotic maul, so in high level situations where accuracy matters the drygore weapons have a chance of coming out ahead. Set effects of the Nex gear is kind of underwhelming, and ports armour is definitely still going to be better.

Guessing that you need to beat all 6 stories for each adventurer (one per region), then beat the triple adventurer voyages that become available afterwards to complete both storylines for trim.
