A Hook mission is only worth at the most 900 distance if you've unlocked the Scythe, but typically worth 600. You can do two Hook missions in the time it takes to do one Scythe mission which at the very least offers 1680 distance. How lucky can this guy get? Lol.

You might just be surprised, for a day after I got my third ship I was able to send 100% voyages on all 3 ships consistently, which allowed me to get enough cherrywood to buy crew for the more difficult voyages. Good luck on voyage rolls :P

Anyone know if you autofail a trait voyage if you send a captain with four traits already?

Storm Hull + 2x Ornate Rigging + Ghostly Figurehead I only have one 10k and one 2.5k captain, so when I use my Arc captains on voyages the rudder helps push down the 4:42 to a much more reasonable time (yes, I can still manage 100% voyages with an Arc captain). The rudder makes it much easier to hit the milestone speed requirement which starts to cut down voyage time.
