If the skills are both lore-based, I could guess that they'd be worship-related with next year's focus on the Gods. Maybe the processing skill could be along the lines of infusing zones towards a particular god (similar to the Halloween event).

It'd probably also be more worthwhile to acquire the hull upgrade of the type that wasn't available in the previous tier, otherwise the focussed stat only gets a +250 boost (battle -> armoured hull).

Pretty easy, have a fishing familiar who forages fish to run out of time. It will then drop the fish, hence we see fish =D. This can be done with any storage like familiar ;D. Refocussed on Arc region because I was overloaded on voyages for the day and I needed bamboo anyway. It turns out that if you focus on any zone besides the furthest one you've unlocked, the distance you earn for any voyage you send gets cut in half, which slows down your progress tremendously.

This. Unless I guess they have a modifier from a trait or something as she said 300 base stat for 2.5k chimes ok so a hook captain simply is always good .. :) Well Scythe captains will be much better as always, just that they'll cost exponentially more :P

Skull region captains cost 2.5k each and offer 200 to all stats and 500 to their speciality, whereas Hook region captains cost 10k and offer 350 to all stats and 700 to their speciality (I think)

Got a 7.5k combat mission, when I rerolled it another 7.5k combat mission showed up -.- Besides that, had: 4.5k double for 1 chi globe 5.5k double for 300 slate 6.5k morale (multiples) for 150 slate 10k morale for 10 spice 10k combat for 1 plate 8k seafaring joint voyage for 2 plate Luckily got a hull upgrade so I can semi-push towards those figures, but I'm now sending a lot more voyages without 100% success.
