  1. I believe it works on a critical hit system, which Hedgehog mentioned. You have a chance of an attack with the Blisterwood weapon being a critical hit, which adds on a damage multiplier. The rest of the time, your max hit is your standard max hit given your strength modifiers. I've gotten a max hit splat which would have been exactly the same as the max hit given my current strength bonus and level, so I personally believe it's a critical hit system.
  2. You died at Bandos with Torva AND Elysian???????? #1 MHer right there
  3. This a thousand times. They could have just rerolled the stats of every piece of armour as they wanted (move accuracy stats to weapon, put big penalties on armour, etc.) instead of coming up with a completely new system just for the hell of it. I always thought that this was what they meant when they constantly referred to "rebalancing the triangle", and not an entirely different system.
  4. http://forum.tip.it/topic/314591-minesweeper/ We've seen that before :P Also what a schmuck, Kamil should stick to freezing ice trolls or something
  5. 50-50 shit luck Would have attempted to get lucky on the square east of 2 (100% not a mine), but looking at the map that wouldn't have helped :P
  6. Full helm, good luck on that one ;( Huge grats on the chainbody, glad you finally got it at last :D
  7. Over 800 kills later ... Goddamnit give me the journal already
  8. Let's bet now on whether they forget to update the animation for descending into the chasm :P Also a teleport directly to the Tears area? That'd help when going to TDs.
  9. Really? What if you just hold the key down to fix it on the action bar thing? Doesn't work anymore? Think of it like the nerf of fletching arrows/broads. The broads were nerfed to an action per tick, this is per 2 ticks ;(((
  10. GE data would be included in the charts, except that there's no GE data for beta worlds.
  11. So glad I finished Shattered Heart already, that looks positively torturous o_O
  12. Can't go online atm, heading to sleep soon :P I think the problem mainly is that you've picked quite a bad time to pick up adamantite ore/coal, which is why it's really expensive to do Artisans' Workshop (I did it with addy at like 1.1k and coal at 200~). Since you're doing ingot I at 50k/hr I'm gonna assume that's a stately 180~ ingots per hour Addy ingot I : 15827 ingots for 440% - 88 hrs Addy ingot II : 9670 ingots for 440% - 53 hrs Addy ingot III : 7746 ingots for 440% - 43 hrs At approximate current costs , 1.6k per addy ore/240(ish) per coal I cost : 15827 addy, 94962 coal - 48M~ II cost : 29010 addy, 135380 coal - 79M~ III cost : 30984 addy, 170412 coal - 90M~ So each hour you try to cut from your goal will cost you about 1M :) It'll change as prices drop, of course, and you'll get faster at the workshop so you'll be able to make quite a bit more than 180 ingots per hour :P Additionally, getting the XP bonuses earlier will also cut down the amount of ores required as long as you pay attention to the lessons.
  13. Personally I did Ingot II, it's not that much of a step up in terms of cost and I feel the XP/hr gain is more than worth it. But it's your choice here, and your money at that :P Ingot III, that's an entirely different thing and I've never crafted any of that. It's unbelievable compared to II.
  14. They come as reward books which you can allocate freely.
  15. Imphide, spider silk, carapace and batwing seem to be 100% drops from imps, giant spiders, cockroaches (killed soldiers, dunno about workers, but not drones), and giant bats respectively. 4 hides to craft the new dragonhide shields. In terms of the new mage equipment, it's 1 hide per boots/gloves, 2 for headgear/legs, 3 for body, 2/3/4 for spider/imp/bat book/wand, and 4 for shield.
  16. It appears to me that average loafers are usually equipped with a mud staff for remote farm. After you start killing them, though, sometimes they come back in the next game armed to the teeth. Sometimes they just don't care. Sometimes they're just bots.
  17. The convo with the Steel Titan implies that all the animal spirits summoned from the spirit plane are the spirits of dead creatures. Summoning isn't necromancy per se, but in a sense it's the summoning of their reincarnated animal spirits. EDIT: Additionally, the ancient curse Deflect Summoning reads "Arceto impetum bestarium recreatorum", which translates into the reflection of the attacks of revived beasts (RSWiki).
  18. YESSSS, I'M NOT ON YOUR LIST @
  19. Wow, talk about kicking the hive.
  20. In terms of the new skills, an RSOF thread mentioned that they would be linked to the upcoming lore shifts in 2013. Since it appears that they want to work on some gods-related lines next year (Return of the Gods?) I'm going to guess that the new skills will invoke elements of deity worship, involving some form of tangible spiritual resource that you harvest and refine. Or something along those lines. It'd differ from Prayer, which reflects your authority over complex chants/curses, or Summoning, which involves reincarnating dead animal spirits.
