  1. I got my mith hatchet by actually smithing it. Also got a few from blue dragons, using spined armour + antibreath shield + rune javelins. Eventually I got adamant from Dagannoth Rex, wasn't lucky enough to score dragon, and then settled with getting a rune hatchet from a steel dragon drop with bat wand + skeletal. If you unlock the resource dungeon in the Dwarven mine, you can use that to bank iron from the 3 rocks outside it and smith that iron at the Artisan's workshop. From your level, around 700 iron should get you to 50 smithing. You can then boost to make the mithril hatchet. You can also get mith hatchets from giant rock crabs semi-frequently according to rune wiki, would be a viable option with level 50 magic and Iban's staff. You're going to have to get your combat stats up a fair bit anyway before you can do any decent woodcutting with addy+ hatchets.
  2. With as low as a bat wand you should be able to dispose of iron dragons relatively effectively.
  3. Have you tried pickpocketing dwarven traders? Despite the higher stun rate, they're much more rewarding in terms of gp and xp than knights.
  4. lmfao it was you??? I was just looking at the news feed and thinking rip this guy, could have been a pet.
  5. It was a lot harder when we had more controversial threads on here. Those were the fun times. Debate club was amazing, wonder if it's archived somewhere. Would be fun but slightly cringe to read.
  6. Should be able to survive on just SS for healing, with maybe some emergency food. Dunno how much extremes will cut your kph by. Was managing 75-80 kph with sup tetsu, ss+turm, drys. No combat fam or whatever.
  7. Yes, the guy who made the original speculation topic for the skill release cited job listings for a different game entirely, one that was described in a rough mechanical way to how the DG skill presented itself later on. It was by far one of the coolest topics I saw on Tip.it :D Was that the topic created by the user named "me"? I have a link to it but it seems to have been moved out of this board. http://forum.tip.it/topic/257212-new-skill-research-roleplaying-dungeon-master/?p=4089531&do=findComment&comment=4089531 Put it back please!
  8. I presume that hashtag was referencing a nipple other than your own?
  9. The Ninja team is still focused on projects and fixes that improve the general game experience and quality. Just look at this week's patch notes, or any of the patch notes over the last year. In addition to their general improvements, they also produce projects much like the Dukes, Team 1, Scrum etc. It just happens to be that the projects they work on are generally geared towards the higher-end of the game (120 capes, expert capes, boss slayer, boss pets). There's nothing wrong with this model as long as they keep making the small changes and fixes, which was what the Ninja team was originally formed for. If you're complaining about the Ninja team not working on a project to make skilling more rewarding, the blame could go on any other group including the Dukes and whoever else devs at Jagex.
  10. how did it cost you 20m o nice golden rock in your inv too lol
  11. Not as large as the metric shitload they want you to kill! Also of a specific boss, as opposed to the broader range in reaper tasks.
  12. That's not really as grand as it is now, is it :P
  13. The only group bosses with new pets are the Kalphite King and arguably Nex. That's not a big deal when there are over 20 other pets with bosses that you can solo for eternity. While the update was shaped in a way to be mostly aimed at the hardcore PvM'ers, they've still gone and thrown a bone to the "regular" PvM'ers with threshold scaling. It's not a problem at all when you consider that they're just cosmetics, simialr to other prestige drops like champion scrolls or Penny.
  14. And so they ultimately implemented the middle ground solution which is a rising threshold, which makes the pets generally more accessible than a non-scaling RNG system would.
  15. wow yer better than me, i can't finish that task set bc my bank is too full for dg lol
  16. Perhaps the pets are meant for hardcore PvM'ers who enjoy the process, and not people who PvM "merely" for the reward items/cosmetics/titles.
  17. The chance of receiving Third-Age armour at all (on OSRS at least) is simply 12 in 42,000, or 1 in 3500, which is probably what Arceus meant.

  19. WOW WHAT COULD THIS MEAN????
  20. I think Mod Osbourne forgot about Nomad saying something to the extent of "the would-be assassin returns!" if you face him again after dying. Actually, with a little bit of math, it becomes a guaranteed drop at just under 10k kills.
