Good read. But I have to disagree with you on several things. The big one being that skilling is startign to die off. I happen to be a slight skiller myself, and I make 98% of my money through skilling. COmbat isn't profitable all the time, you will lose and you will win. Unlike skilling, where you really don't lose a thing.

You know, I do like archery also, im pretty good at it too. But I'm more of a gun person, (rifles and shotguns ftw) So, since there is no skill that has anything to do with aiming a gun, i didn't mention it :lol:

I'm just curios, what runescape skill would you be good in in real life? ex: Fishing because you fish in real life etc.. (say a little more than that though) Id be good at hunter, as I hunt in real life. I really enjoy hunting, it's one of my most favorite things to do. There is nothing more thrilling than bringing home a 10 point buck! :thumbsup: Id also be extremely good at cooking! I love cooking all sorts of things. Cakes, pies, Dear, etc.. :twisted: So please, share your thoughts!

I definately think you need to do your reserch better. I turn up far more gold while fishing than what you say. You mention that it doesn't even turn a profit, well your wrong. A small fishing net for monks costs a whole 5gp and a monk gets 392gp, so unless your not paying attention you will never have to spend another 5gp again :shock: Also, if your doing the shilo fly fishing you sitll make profit. A salmon is like 40gp(somewhere near this) and a feather is like 5-7gp :lol:

Basically, I can't beleive it would hurt anything at all. Specailly if it has to come in like the coif. F2p can't craft them, but they can use them. I really wouldn't affect any sorta market.

I don't think this thread was ment to point out how long people play the game. yes, the game is getting a little to serios in terms of peoples attitudes. The quote above is only a small proof of that. I seem to find more people showing up where I am woodcutting and telling me to leave and hop somewhere else than I used too. Also, the maturity level has plummeted. (I'm not complaining though, in some cases at least) I do believe jagex is crafting the game to allow lower aged kids to play. Just do what i do, if their annoying you, use the ignore list :twisted:

The big thing with me is how much i enjoy the skill, and how it can help me. Right now I'm going for 99 fishing, I highly enjoy it and it's very usefull too. With the higher level fishing comes the ability to get the higher level fish more quickly. Which can also help with money. Small amount of gold for Barbed Tailed Harpoon < Close to 1k for shark.

School for me definately. Later in the month will be worse for me, as drama club opens up. Taking another 2 1/2 hours away form my time which is already severily limited. Thats probly what I'm going to do, so my progress to 99 fish won't be slowed any further.

I do beleive players have it far to easy now. I meen, I was off tuturial island 5 mins and I died, I then learned from that. Sure it was harder for me, but it crafted me into a more independant player.I learned to make my own money, what to avoid, and what to kill. 95% of what I know now, I learned on my own. Now, newer players seem to have everything handed out to them on a silver platter. While we the veterans had to work to find out that information.

once you hit 92 your halfway there, and then it's all downhill from there..*hops on sled and slides down hill* See?? it's easy!! *hits big rock and flies of sled*

I like mine = ) I'm still not sure if they update on their own though..
