  1. 1.yes mining gold is very profitable. 2. no it would be pretty fast at your level. 3. if you've completed between a rock... and garden of tranquility (for the ring of charos(a)), you can mine gold at the arzinian mine, it has about 150 gold rocks, it's not usually busy, and it's easy to switch worlds if it is. and there's a dwarf who will deliver your gold to the bank for you, and he takes some ores (with the ring of charos (a) he takes about half of what he normally would.) it's quite a fast method, but i dont think it's the fastest. another method is with the necklace of skills, and fally tele tabs/runes. it's pretty quick also.
  2. yanille is where i usually burn logs. theres two or three lines there.
  3. if youre a member use proselyte. if youre a free player use monks robes.
  4. the outfit i wear when i woodcut is dark cav, strung rabbits foot, d axe, varrock armor 1, heralded rune kite, legends cape, red d hide chaps, dragon boots, a ring of wealth(always wear one), and dragon gauntlets (fog).
  5. they drop seeds occasionally, but it's just not worth it to fight them. they dont drop them often enough, and they hit almost constantly.
  6. plateskirts cost the same price as platelegs in stores, but they are cheaper because theres not as much of a demand for them, because runescape is mainly played by boys/men. and yes men can wear skirts, and women can wear platelegs. it's just a choice of which you'd rather wear, and which is cheaper.
  7. personally i think this idea is just stupid. if jagex adds a bunch of nice new stuff to f2p's there wont be any reason for them to become members. you just dont want to have to pay. also, splitbark is much less likely to get because it is obtained from a p2p minigame. f2ps already have a bunch of stuff, you've just recently gotten a load of updates. quit complaining. if you want the game to have more stuff just pay for it. it's not that much money.
  8. buy a whip. it's worth the money. or spend the money training member skills.
  9. as somebody said before, yes it does, coinshare and lootshare are not effected by the ring of wealth.
  10. Not to knock on your suggestion, but if you were going to light a fire on your own, wouldn't all banks be equally good? no because most banks are indoors, and you need to step outside to light the fire, as the game won't let you light a fire inside. even though the grand exchange has a roof, it counts as outside.
  11. 70 range is basically the minimum requirement for ranging aviansies(judging by some guides i've read). and if it's your first time you should do the pray method just so you get used to the environment and learn what it's like in the gwd.
  12. worst clue ive gotten that i have a picture of. it was a level 3 clue. 3 puzzles 2 sara wizzies and a double agent.
  13. addy plates or green d hide bodies. and if you have a friend whos going for 99 fletch, see if they'll sell you the bows they make cheaper than what they alc for and alc them. ive got friends who make their money this way.
  14. could you give me the link to this article?
  15. rune defender's defence stats aren't as good as a rune kite, but it has a big strength bonus. if you going against something that hits high and you need the defence, a d sq is the best choice. But if you're fighting something that doesn't hit hard or has high defence, it's best to use the rune defender for it's strength bonus, so you can hit harder.
  16. just outside the crumbling wall theres a mine with 2 iron ores, there`s barely ever anyone there, and it`s pretty close to a bank. whenever i mine iron i mine it there.
  17. ive got a clue right now, and i have to do regicide roving elves, and start mourning ends part 1 to do it. :wall: :wall:
  18. if you really want one put it at max price. whips are much more expensive now than when i got mine. you could also check the forums, or go to world 2 and see if anybody is selling any.
  19. lmao, thats exactly what ring of wealth DOESN'T do! it doesnt affect the number on the first wheel, but once youve reached the right number on the first wheel it will reduce the amount of empty spots on the second wheel, and hence makes the chance of getting a rare all the greater. in short: row only affects the second wheel, it doesnt do anything for normal drops or getting on the second wheel [/hide] OH. i thought it was the other way around. thanks for correcting me. that`s just how it was explained to me once and it made sense so that`s how i thought it worked. i understand :) i just thought it was funny that you got it exactly the other way around, heres the official quote, its not hard to understand: [hide=]I see that many people in this world hath conflicting and contrary ideas as to how the ring of wealth may help them. Allow me to set this straight once and for all. 1) If thou consider the possessions of an enemy to be like a roulette wheel, then the 'rare' items so coveted by players are located on a second roulette wheel, that will only be spun shouldst thou roll a specific number on the first wheel. The ring of wealth affects not the number which thou may achieve upon the first wheel, but should thou gain the precise number to allow thee access to the second, the ring will make thy chances of gaining an object on that second roulette wheel all the greater. My analogy is flawed, for death is not like roulette, but I hope that thou see the truth within this.[/hide] http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=375 i must have read it wrong too, because i remembered it the other way around. but it`s kinda tough to understand with all the thou`s and thee`s.
  20. If you had the time to go into all that trouble of downloading illegal third party software, then you should have the time to virus scan and then get your account back. And thus, if you left your account on all the time, then JAGeX will ban it. oh my gawd, is it so hard to go to a place where noone comes and put a rock on your -> arrow key to keep your screen rotating and you keep logged in? if your on a mac and you hold the arrow key, then hit the expose button and go back onto the same window the window keeps spinning, and you could possibly go on for as long as youre computer and internet can handle. not that i ever do this. i just found out i could do it by accident.
  21. lmao, thats exactly what ring of wealth DOESN'T do! it doesnt affect the number on the first wheel, but once youve reached the right number on the first wheel it will reduce the amount of empty spots on the second wheel, and hence makes the chance of getting a rare all the greater. in short: row only affects the second wheel, it doesnt do anything for normal drops or getting on the second wheel OH. i thought it was the other way around. thanks for correcting me. that`s just how it was explained to me once and it made sense so that`s how i thought it worked.
  22. most people try to be on a world by themselves while they`re mining for coal. i doubt anybody would specifically go to a world with other people at the coal trucks as there are only 17 rocks i think. it`d make it a lot tougher to mine.
  23. the thing with the roullette wheel is confusing. but someone explained it to me once. basically theirs the roullette wheel for getting rare drops, and to spin for a rare drop on that roullette wheel you need to get the right number on the first wheel. what the ring of wealth does, as explained by jagex, is the ring of wealth makes it more common to get the right number to spin for a rare drop on the first wheel. it doesnt affect the second roullette wheel, it just makes it more common to be able to spin the second one. you could say the same thing but with dice, lets say you have two dice. you need to roll a 6 with the first die to be able to roll for another 6 on the other die, the ring of wealth would improve your chances of getting the six the first time, making it so you roll for a 6 again more commonly. thats what the ring of wealth does to my understanding.

    Quests

lmao. yes you do, it's called the questcape. if you've completed every quest there's a cape you can get, but whenever a new quest is realeased you cant put the quest cape back on or it goes back to the person who you buy it from until you complete the new quest.
  25. if youre going to kill mutated zygomites bring armor with high magic defence. because they attack mainly with magic based attacks. there are zygomites by the cosmic altar, and north east of the windmill with the butter churn in it. first you pick one of the mushrooms on the ground, then a zygomite will attack you. in youre chat box when it says "it looks like the zygomite is on its last legs finish it off" use the fungicide spray with whatever number of doses you have in it. you need to buy fungicide spray, and a couple refills. i'd advise you buy refills for 10 more zygomites than you need to kill in case you mess up fighting them. also you should bring lots of food, because zygomites hit pretty hard.
