Of course there's pride in pixels - you'll find that with any game! :D I remember being on a high for weeks because me and my friend from school had a competition to see who could complete Final Fantasy VII beating the weapons first, starting from scratch. A few weeks later and I did it and rang up my friend to announce it, only to find that he couldn't come to the phone because he was beating the last boss himself. Nevertheless, I won ^_^ I think there are a fair few emotions in pixels - you can get angry and annoyed because you've died and lost your stuff, sad or happy because of a storyline, excited because of a particularly tense part of the gameplay, etc. You can even get nostalgic if you're anything like me - If I load up a SNES emulator and play Zelda, Illusion of Time or Secret of Mana then as soon as the music kicks in I'm transported straight back to my childhood :o
