If all those updates were added to runescape it would suck. New combat systems? New level requirements? New, new, new? No thanks, how about you fix the game before adding a bunch of miscellaneous updates. We just got a bunch of new things and you want more ALREADY? Jesus Christ, don't you see the flaws with all of these? If Jagex ever did this many updates at once I'd quit. It's too much and completely ridiculous.

It's not worth it because in the end, you're playing Runescape, and playing Runescape, imo, doesn't make you look good.

Yes. A 99 is a 99 reguardless of members or not. The truth is nobody pays $5 to get the cape, then goes back to f2p. I have yet to see anybody put up a real arguement against this.

As an f2per, I can tell you firemaking takes forever and has absolutely no use. Cooking is the same, after 70 your fine. Smithing on the other hand, you can make everything. After 97 smithing it's free and efficient making rune kites, by buying rune bars and smithing into kites, then selling in the grand exchange. Best method is mithril plate bodies to 88, then adamant platebodies to 97, then rune kites to 99.

I agree with you for the most part, however, when I'm training mage on my pure and tell them 'I'll let you win, stop running, I'll let you win.' it get's a bit annoying. At that point I theres 3 ways to go; -the smart guy who says 'oh, he's here to train mage, alright cool' and goes to the center to get max points, and realises I let him win. -the insecure guy who says 'omfg, no no no, ur lieing' (99% chance they're hunted first) -the idiot who runs, despite me telling them ill let them wins (their the 1% who started as hunter) if your the first guy, right on, ur cool if your the second guy, lighten up if your the third guy, go to hell

F2P don't join just to get the skill cape, and members won't quit because F2P get skill capes. Saying you did doesn't help any either, because your (still) a minority. There's no real reason why F2P shouldn't have achievement capes.
