w53 crashed last night. Most people on it lost their binds. Some lucky people didn't. World was down for an hour and anyone on it when it crashed couldn't log in untill it went back online. I heard the same thing happened earlier today.

After thinking about this for a little bit and taking into consideration that Jagex said 2011 would be the year of clan updates,I have an idea of what this is going to be. Something like a "Lava Strykewyrm" that roams the wilderness. Every hour or so there would be markings on the ground or whatever and players have to do something with these markings, or the Lava Strykewyrm just randomly spawns somewhere in the Wilderness for an hour before burrowing down and going to a new location. PKers or Clans would bump into it from time to time and have the chance of killing it for either some EXP item or some other thing. I think it's going to be a D&D in the Wilderness aimed for pkers or clans, in other words. It could be released next week, since the BTS is just what they plan or releasing that month. They could always be ahead of schedule (not that I think that's the case), but other then that, I'm not sure why its coming next week.

My thoughts exactly. Wonder how they'll pull this off.

Have been laggier for me ever since the 2nd week of February. Really puts me off using them. :unsure:

bronze and iron u can buy from crossbow shops (they're mostly located in dwarven areas + lowes sells bronze crossbows) no shops sell steel crossbows and higher. Riiiiiight. The GE wasn't removed with this update. :P I got Bronze for 20gp, iron for 1gp, steel for 100gp (about) and mithril for around 300gp. Whats with the old-school-ness. Eagle still requires you have 1 rope, but you can make a rack that has an infinite amount of ropes hanging from it right next to the Karamja, Eagle's Peak and Feldip Eagle spots. Polar and Desert Eagles have rope spawns on the floor.

Haven't read more then the first page yet, but Açaí is listed in the KB Seasonal Items under Miscellaneous. Is it like a heads up that Jagex support protecting the rainforest? (Referring to the message you get after eating it.)

My son (the one who no longer plays Runescape) asked me the other day, what's stopping anyone from manipulating prices now by putting, say, a yellow phat up for sale on the GE at 2 bill and having a friend buy it for 2 bill, and wash, rinse and repeat? :unsure: That wouldn't affect what people are paying for in world 2 or the forums. And partyhats are still underpriced on ge and can't move that quickly, so that wouldn't do anything. However the GE guide price is tied together with player to player trades since the limit was removed. If they traded it back and forth for more then the guide price in normal trades, You'd almost think it would effect the guide price.

I don't get why you're pking in torso + d skirt when you are able to buy a bandos chestplate + tassets per night.

I get those all the time when using the internet at my school. Never had one on here from home though.

Spectral has a nice mage bonus along with prayer and doesn't degrade so it can still merit some uses over the chaotic kite. Don't know exactly how you came up with that conclusion. Someone he knows told him probably.

It's kind of crap because we've had 2 dwarf quests since they promised us a dwarf graphical update (not the chathead, but it's great nonetheless). Trolls are also long overdue for an update, we've had the first graphically done troll during the Easter event last year, and they even managed a whole group of them in the latest dwarf quest (My Arm). Wonder what's holding them. :thumbdown: Probably holding it off until they update the troll area which should be soon as they leaked part of the updated troll area in a map of the wilderness. Same here. I love the capes they wear the most though. :P The king capes look all fluffy and stuff. <3:

I am! :P I was considering just finishing the quest today which would have gotten me it, but kept the reward on hold until saturday. Though some of my subscribers on youtube could look at the drop party as a "thanks for coming" thing instead of going "lol only 10m". Ah well, what can you do. Thanks for the replies! <3:

So it took a while, but it doesn't feel like it took as long as it did. :P I'll be hitting my 25th 99 and hosting a 10M drop party at the end. Liked the quest, but I was expecting this cool illusion-city. Kinda disappointed about that. :P Music track "Cage Against The Machine" made me smile. :mrgreen: (Music references ftw) Won't be able to complete the quest until Saturday, but I did everything up to the final action before the reward. On the swear filter, all I can say is I'm keeping it on whenever I'm in the wilderness. That's where I think it will have the biggest effect. Looking forward to March, this was the only update i was looking forward to this month. |^_^|

I would say I have less motivation to play then before the limit was opened again, but I blame this forum and the rare market for that. :P All the pictures of people gaining hundreds of millions in mere minutes at the duel casino or from great item flips. I'm a grinder when it comes to gameplay, and like you said. Frostdragons seemed great for cash before the free trade update, now it seems more like a laugh then anything compared to merchanting or gambling at the duel arena. That being said, I'm glad I'm maxing all 99's this weekend. Runecrafting for a profit died inside me with the update, together with any other ways of making money through skills/combat. I'll dig myself down in Dungeoneering and hope the overworld is there when I get back.

The question I pose to you is how in the world will things not get f'ed up by this? Thats what I'm waiting to find out. Manipulation clans would buy it all.
