  1. Well, atleast they managed to implement it. :P
  2. My picture.:thumbup: P.S. Dont know if its been said yet. The age limit to enter is 16. The age limit to be served alcohol at the pubs/bars is 18 and you need to show ID.
  3. [hide] Does this mean the end of 4 updates a month? The way they wrote it could very well mean just that. Im putting my money on no more 4 update months anyway. I don't think we've actually had a 4 update month for a good year or so. We've had 3:1, 2:2 It was changed from 4 to 3 a while ago, I had a go looking at the poll archives but for the life of me I had no luck finding it. [/hide] I seem to remember something about 4 week months getting 1 big + 2 small updates and 5 week months having 2 big updates and 2 small. Anyone else remember that? :P No idea where it was said though. Possibly in some new years message for 2010.
  4. I dont get how you can compare 1500 dollars for 2-3 days to 7 dollars a month which is 0,23 dollars in 1 day. Im over this though, dont see any point in arguing over it anymore.

  6. I think having this week off was a good idea. :P Got 2 test to study for this week and now I can runecraft inbetween studying.
  7. As far as i've understood, there will be given out exclusive goody bags to everyone when they enter.
  8. Read this, it sums it up nicely. ;)
  9. Im betting yes. :P Think Jagex are on holiday, havent gotten any code and its been over 24 hours. Probably because of the bank holiday, which means no update tomorrow. :(
  10. Browsing the faq for this week:
  11. You pretty much summed it up. Theres a difference between needing and wanting. ;) Got my dad in on buying 2 tickets. Now we just have to find out where in London it is and how much any additional costs will be. Share me the other code  Not sure if I get 2, still waiting on them. :P

  13. Thread is starting to get filled with personal attacks it seems like. Do I want that flag? Yes. Would I buy a ticket just for the flag? Yes. Does that make me sad? Apparently according to some people around here. Would I go to runefest? Yes, but its not some walk in the park because I dont live in bloody england. Am I trying to get my parents to agree to going? Of course. The view on this whole giving an item for buying a ticket thing isnt a one sided thing either, its actually fairly split. Anyone who mentions a rant about it though seems to get tackled by someone else.
  14. Ive gotten the coif from Stomp, but thats the only part ive seen.
  15. You cant compare this to being able to go back in time. If you want to compare it to bunny ears or scythes, it would be like seing someone get a scythe because they paid 75 pounds for one. Since you didnt, all you could do was watch the people who did.
  16. It did remind me of Runescape Wet n' Wildy. :P
  17. Treasure trail items do nothing as well. Doesnt mean people dont want them/use them. And as Sirhemen stated earlier, holiday-esque items are very nice for video's.
  18. Still wondering if all the item codes will be the same or different. Betting on different.
  19. Holy crap  Say your friend goes to a concert and get a load of goodies from the band/venue owners. Would you ring up the band/venue owners and complain that you should get the said goodies even though you didnt attend the event? Its more like this actually. Your friend goes to a concert and gets a load of goodies from the band/venue owners as well as a never before heard music track which cant be recorded/ripped or taken off the cd in any possible way without giving the cd away to someone.
  20. I disagree. How is it fair that by accident of simply being born across the ocean from the eventual Jagex HQ that I have absolutely no opportunity to attend this event? Yes I can purchase the ticket and redeem the item if I seriously wanted to, but why would I put that money into an event and get 5% opportunity 'payback' than I would if I actually lived in England and could attend? I don't know. Call me bitter..but this doesn't seem fair. Do you have the ablility to think outside of yourself? People payed money to go to RuneFest, they deserve a nice little cosmetic item. There is no reason that this is "unfair" Its not "unfair" if Jagex pay for the plane ticket for anyone outside the UK. The fact that anyone outside the uk have to pay atleast double of what anyone in the UK has to is why people are saying its unfair. Thought id contribute with a picture as well:
  21. Seems like it. :???:
  22. Den replied to Power's topic in General Discussion
That explains why they dont use them in war of legends... ..oh wait. I think the best way to go about this is if Jagex open a shop where its possible to buy fun, cosmetic items for rl cash and give out the "supposedly seen" RuneFest Banner item to everyone to show they were around when Jagex had their first big convention. For all any of us know, the banner might not even be a player item. Jagex could be making a little RuneFest stall ingame with the "supposedly seen" runefest banner beside it, and a guy talking about runefest.
  23. 1400USD plane ticket and hotel stay + 80BP/120USD ticket + food = alot more. I should get a working visa and stay there all summer then come home after RuneFest. I didnt add in the hotell cost or price for food, but yeah a flight from the US would cost much more then mine would.
  24. Since when is a banner much of an unfair advantage? See it like this, members pay and are rewarded, attendies of RuneFest pay and are rewarded. Simple. Besides it is not like they get access to a new area, a useful new item, or anything serious. It is a banner. Its the wintumber tree all over again, and we all know how well that was recieved by free players who got membership after the event. Im in denial untill this is announced though. :P
