Well currently its possible to plant in the ground, shoot out fireworks when someone reads it while its in the ground, and it plays off music when read (atleast by the owner). Also possible to find it on the world map if its planted and call it to you from anywhere by clicking call on the one in your inventory. Thats all ive found at the moment though.

So since you need bones, the skill hasnt been changed since it was released...? Since fishing requires you to catch fish, I guess that hasnt been changed since release either? If you follow that logic, no skill has ever changed since release.

Hmm, il try that. This picture was before the summoning combat change though. Have had him a few times after that which werent nearly as bad as that fight. It was the second time he made rocks fall btw.

Agreed. And about prayer being static for 9 years. Thats as far from the truth as you can get. :P Prayer is released. People bury bones for exp. Ectofuntus is released. People move on to that and grind bones/offer them for exp. Construction is released. Gilded alters are made. People move on to offering bones to the alter. Yeah, it hasnt been changed since construction, but thats hardly 9 years.

Definitely not weapons. That would defeat the purpose of them removing weapon PVP drops and replacing cash. Perhaps skilling resources like logs, coal, etc would be good. anyways, alot of gamers don't train fishing/wcing/mining for the sake of money anymore (The lower level players do though, and the update I just proposed would be a huge kick to the sensitive regions for them) ultimately i think you should be allowed to trade in statuettes for a VARIETY of items, cash, resouces, weapons, etc. if balanced properly, this would, at the very least, spread the economic impact of PVP drops over more items than just the GP balancing takes effort and skill though. I doubt jagex is up to the job. Noted dragon bones please? :P

These topics never get old. :P Jagex are aware of it like Mori said. Just sucks for anyone who isnt riding the inflation and is getting burried under it. Edit: The level 80 items cost from 200k to 2m depending how many tokens you use aswell as coins to repair it.

Actually, they were rising at around 2-3k before curses. (Because Jagex announced a prayer update.) When curses came out, they rose to 4-5k and havent gone under 4.5k since if im not mistaken. Prayer is ridiculous at the moment, and I dont see myself ever spending 150m from 95 to 99.

hmm one of the first things i semi agree w/ qeltar on . u can make up for someone who doesnt know what they are doing ussually but people that are screaming during 5:5 small dont kill monsters dont kill dont kill and get mad at people getting ready for boss arent fun to party w/ either. Guy I was playing with was cool with me kitting up though. Not everyone who knows what they are doing are going to scream at you for doing something they wouldnt. :P Do agree though, people who get mad at you for like killing a monster or not rushing the boss are annoying.

Jagex are taking their time with these codes. They said they would send them all out yesterday to those who bought tickets during the weekend, but still havent sent any out. :unsure:

Personally, I think it would've been better if they never announced it and simply gave it out at Runefest to those attending... I agree, though would suck for people who couldnt go. Im an item collector myself so I feel for those who cant get the banner but want it.

Ment to say wouldnt be sued, but you never know really. There's always gotta be a first. I also do think that they arent selling the flag, but the tickets. The flag being the gift though the flag could have been implemented a lot better. I kinda agree with both sides. :P

So we've gone over to the "What if Jagex removed the item/took it away after/before RuneFest" now eh? :P Its really bad PR if a company says "We are giving out gifts if you buy this!" then the next day say they want all the gifts back. I would say it wouldnt be suable, but it would put the company in a bad light for future give-outs and in general.
