I'd say you get either Qurupeco or Ludroth armour and only then start upgrading, since you cant mine armour spheres at the lowest areas it's betetr to save them for higher armour. Also, do you have access to online? That way you could do the single player and online at the same time and save money and time with it. My progress as of today: More Joe hunting, before i get his set however, i'm getting the combo of Diablos and Jhen Mohran/Baggi, i heard it is the best among GS'ers and since i already have conqueror seals, Jhen Mohran should be better :thumbup: Also, ross, when you get to HR31, don't fear jho, well, at least if you already have + armour, all he does is help you by pretty much rapping the monster you're suposed to hunt :thumbup:

I conclude thats why there will be many lists in the future. Since this is a personal list, it can't cater to every and single genre. I know for a fact i despise FPS, even those made by Valve. It just never got into me. Of course that will effect my list. But if many people do many lists, there will be a wide range of games across all genres, and your favourite one will most likely be in there, reaching a generalised concensous (sp?) on what are the best games. You should first aim for some raw defence, but after that you might notice various armours give a different range of skills. Yeah, the bigger the number, the best the effect becomes, but some skills are worthless so you have no need to choose them and others give no negative throwback if they are in the negative. Therefore, you should see the benefits of each skill and adapt yop equipment to your weapon. What is it btw? Also, Joe is a disapointment when you get to face him in a quest to kill him. He is really a wimp, the only dangerous attacks he has are the dragon breath (i never seem to evade jump out of that, is blockable though) and a pin attack similar to the raths. Everything else is telegraphed, less in rage mode but still noticeable. That and GS' really tear him appart. His tail can bug a little, but severing it is a matter of time. Meating when he is tired is very effective and can paralize/sleep him for a long time, giving you time to destroy his face. Other than that, you should imagine deviljho as an unbounceable Uragaan and Barroth. Now that i know his pattern, he is a major help in regular missions, it's always fun when he appears out of nothing and starts WTFpwning the other monsters, aswell as breaking many parts (in one quest today a jho single handedly broke aganaktor's fun, beak and the 2 hind legs)

Nice man. Get enough for any of the weapons? I got rank 21 just now. Only ten more until I get to have the crap kicked out of me by Joe. No, for each weapon (but SnS), i only needed one more part though: 1 more tail for the Spear, 1 more brkn skypiercer for GS (not worth it, Epitaph is better and Joe beats both i think) and LS and 1 Talon for the Hammer. If i ever get Ala's weapons, it will only be the lance and LS, and i think i'll go for the LS first. But before that, time to revenge kill joe for all the times he bugged me :thumbup:

KBD looks really threatning in that concept. Still, whyy did they update dragons when they were one of the best models in game? Trolls, gnomes and dwarves are in dire need of an update while dragon didn't need it <.<

Still, you have to take in consideration that comparing Mence with chomp and Latias isn't that decisive in a judgement, mainly because he doesn't have to compete with them, he just has to be that much more powerfull than other OU pokemons. The thing is, Salamence doesn't really ahs a counter because his movepool covers almost everything. Not only that, but in most of his sets he has a "choice" attack. While cleric Dnite (which can set up on ice beams) needs every single move he has, Salamence doesn't. Let's see the DD set. You have DD, Dragon Claw and Earthquake. The 4th move is up to you: Want a rock attack? Stone edge. Want extra power? Outrage or Draco Meteor can do it. afraid of scizor? Roast him with flamethrower or fire blast. Blissey giving you trouble? Brick Break does it. This only counting the physical varieties (and mixed). This thing has sucha variety it's dam near impossible to prevent it.

Edit: Rocco, you don't seem to have that much experience in OU, heck even in any metagame, choice items change strategies drasticly. Choice Specs give an overwhelming boost to your special attack, converting sometimes a sub-par pokemon (like Jolteon for example) into a all around sweep. Choice band same, btu for physical pokemons. Choice specs creates a whole varieties of revenge killers. Not only these options, but you can always trick a choice item into another pokemon and lock him into one attack, sometimes canceling their inpact on a match (choice a blissey for example) Not only that, but some varieties like choice band scizor absolutely tear everythign appart with priority moves like bullet punch, or even regular attacks like superpower. Yeah, they offer inconvenieces, but that doesn't stop them from being increadible items :thumbup:

Still, if you place one pokemon in front of Mence, you are never sure what set it is. With scizor, you know is either a swords dance or a Choice band user. Jolteon is pretty much 100% specs. Charizard is belly drum. Salamence is nothing unique. He is everything!

Uber, the insane movepool it boasts is just unnacceptable in OU. This allows Salamence to not have a single counter to all his movesets, and in some teams an entire slot dedicated to counter it should it happen.

Yeah, some people just never learn. I tried today to handle my amber slash+ (Barioth SA+). Never gona touch that thing again, it's so unwieldy, upswings come out of nothing without any warning and the only way to do some solid damage is with the Sword mode, which is as slow as a GS (to walk), as fast as LS (in attack) and takes 5 friggin seconds to switch. Discharge is nice though. Also, it has permanent ESP in sword mode. Another day wasted in attempts to kill Alatreon, I'm seriously giving up on this guy though. Now 2 more things i wanted to say: One, you cant add players unless they are also online, wich is a pain and a reason we should have a database of our regular schedules, usernames and Hunter codes. Another, explain that sharpened fangs thingy? :3
