I believe they made Wilderness quests different as of the Wilderness & Free Trade update. This is from the news post, hope it helps :P That should get you down there hopefully :)

On the first article; Haven't you just answered that? :P Anyway, when you talk about slack I don't really see it, and I don't understand how they can slack due to community things, as this year is the Year of Clan updates anyway :P. Nor do I really get how the notes system is a way of Jagex talking to the community past the example of a referendum about an update, I think you should have used that as an example instead to make it relevant to the now. :) . I agree with their support on the social networking sites, however I'd like to see more of them turning out to events like they used to, it seems unfortunately Jagex are catering for their own community and not reaching out to Fansites as much, as RSOF Events teams now get huge support with their leaders becoming moderators on the forum quite often. On the second article, I think the meat and purpose of the article were in the last 2 paragraphs, which is unfortunate since I think this could've been the dominating the content, but I agree entirely. I know not a lot about the economy, and 2 days or so before the free trade I will sell my raw rocktails even though I know they'd be a much higher price after free trade and Wilderness. If I knew more though, I'd be tempted to get into economy manipulation, predicting prices in the future, which I wouldn't enjoy :ohnoes:

You need to work out the amount of casts using the Tip.it Lunar magic guide for 99 or whatever level you'd like, that's the amount of Unstrung gold amulets you should buy. You need to also buy that number x2 (because each cast costs 2 astrals) astral runes. If you have a lava battlestaff/mud staff and a tome of frost, the other runes come free.

For me Stringing Amulets is very fast, this is my choice for when I buy 99, however I don't think it comes cheap. I like this method due to the one click per inventory, so it's just like cooking :thumbsup:

Not sure there are different types of the special terrain, however it's a patch of ground that increases your fighting power. Any unit type can stand on them, and they will all be affected. :thumbsup:

For the first article, I agree the point that Jagex are bringing out all these groundbreaking updates at once for a reason, and I think that's due to the Wilderness reform attracting old players back, these January updates should keep them interested ;). I also agree that it's a good time to be a skiller right now. I'm a rocktail fisher, and their prices were rising due to the promise of new things to fight as well as PvP. Not so sure about rares being affected by PvP and Boss monsters though! Very well written and thought out, however <3: Good job For the second article, I can only see an update to Camelot, not a major rehaul. For me, Romeo & Juliet was a one time quest that I didn't really remember, and never cared for after I'd completed it. Camelot however, is an entire are that is host to many quests and a source of skilling too with the nearby Seer's Village. This is a much more used gameplay area than Romeo & Juliet was used, and I think taking that away would be a bit odd since I couldn't see a reason for it. I enjoy the rip-off :P It makes the game more classically medieval, also Merlin is hawt <3: . I don't really see any evidence for Camelot to be replaced either!

It doesn't necessarily have to be strong to have 4 gods lock it up. For example, maybe they needed all 4 gods to make sure it stayed locked. Or it could just be a symbolic or nominal thing. What I mean is, they don't need to have 4 gods lock up the power, but by having them all do it, it symbolizes that they were all together for that decision so one of the gods couldn't betray his word at a later date. It's not about the power, it's about the locking up :). You don't lock up dangerous stuff with no reason, specifically a reason why you don't simply disarm it. True, but wouldn't you agree that thousands of years of residual corrosion and the lack of the gods' presence in Gielinor WOULD weaken the door? 4 gods could lock up a bagel with good intent if they wanted to, and I wouldn't question then <3: . Maybe that's the secret to the frozen door ;).

Actually, they aren't actually lit. It's just that Saradomin and Armadyl's icon has a bright color compared to Bandos and Zamorak which is black. And when standing next to the door, no monster attacks you unless you're already under attack by them. (If I remember right) Also, before this update, when you stood next to the door, the killcount counter would disappear. With this update, it's still there. (Might have been a bug before that is now fixed) I was wondering wether they were just dark :P Didn't know about the monster thing, but my kill counter has been appearing when i'm near the door. :o

Tried the Shadow sword and spells, nadda :P It looks like just a teaser for now :) Hope it will be good though when it does open! Maybe Voldermort is behind there...

When you unequip either Arma or Sara, does anything happen? What about your kc? My KC is 0, and when I unequip Arma item, it actually remains lit. Also the aviansie didn't attack me...

So it sounds like a feminine voice mixed with a male one, the way they speak too such as "All who oppose US", maybe it's more than one god or something ;o

So i'm by the door, first of all you see the shaking and such, then you try open the door. My message was "The door doesn't seem to budge". I have all god items to prevent people attacking me but it looks like only Armadyl & Saradomin are lit up, don't know why...very strange :P

I shall try venture down there, see what I can find :)
