I think when Jagex introduced the completionist cape into the game, Runescape went from a game with seemingly endless possibilities to have a potential "finish". Whether 200m experience in every skill supersedes that is another argument, however I think if you maxed out now and got the cape compared to say 4 years ago you'd feel there is less to accomplish seeing as you've "completed" the game. To keep these loyal players interested with more things to do I think is where Jagex ends up "power creeping" some game content. Once many people have got the cape, what is there more to do for them? Other than introducing something like the QBD for them to kill. I think Jagex has -more recently- avoided this issue though; the QBD though potentially the most difficult foe in the game doesn't actually give much high end gear. Nex however does give incredibly powered gear, but then again is more challenging as a boss to actually obtain the drops themselves. For high leveled/experienced players, when more gear is introduced which is better than their current, and they can immediately access that; sure it's power creeping from our point of view. But then again, the gaps between levels are being filled in for Jagexs' future customers, so they can easily jump from weapon to weapon as they progress up to the ultimate gear, so whether it's debilitating for Jagex's income, i'm not so sure

I've been having some problems redeeming my Flaming Skull, so i've been watching the Billing Support forums. In regards to ordering a game card online from GAME, this is what Mod Chef says: "Just so you know, any 90 or 100 day Game Card purchased from GAME will be eligible up to the 15th of July. However, when you purchase a card online and receive the PIN electronically, the card will -not- be eligible for the promotion. If you are ordering a physical Game Card, that will be posted to you, It will be included, but I must stress that you must be sure that you're receiving a physical Game Card to scratch off and enter through the post."

Yes, but only by 1 combat level. Hmm, not sure how I feel about this. Currently it's easy to tell in general how someones stats compares to yours combat wise (apart from pures), this will make it difficult though >.<

So someone with Magic, Ranged and Attack levels of 1 but with 99 Strength and defence will be a higher level than someone with Magic, Ranged, Strength and Attack levels of 98 and 99 defence? Jagex

I saw this too so gave it a quick google, Return of Lucien is a music track that accompanies the quest, but that patch doesn't phrase anything well at all :c

In related news: people who can log on are reporting that when they try to go to their citadel, it says "Your clan does not have a citadel"...uh oh....JAGEXXXXXXXXXXXX!!1! That's just citadel servers being down too I'd wager. Ah very true, I forgot they run on seperate worlds :D

Not sure if I'm pulling this out of the air or not, but I think I heard on a youtube video/read somewhere that combat levels would be changed reflecting on the gear that a player wears at the time of combat? Can't remember where I heard it though :(

You've reminded me of exactly where I was on that day now :D I remember being sat in school also during lunch discussing the Omen film. I was playing Runescape at this time too, however I never knew about the Massacre until much later on after this date, perhaps a year or so reading it on RuneWiki. I've always assumed I wasn't playing at this time but I suddenly remember I must have been, can't believe I didn't know that this had happened when I was fully active!
