I'm teaching myself martial arts with the internet lol It sounds stupid, but I can already throw a powerful round-house kick and I know some lethal counter-attacks : Hurray for demonstration videos!! XD
  4. O! I love these type of threads, here's me Those are pretty recent, mabye about a month ago (I'm 16)
  5. Relax man, I've done much worse lol (got muted for a week) \
  6. They actually mean "make worse" when they say "tweak :P
  7. Cacmypants replied to Skully's topic in Rants
same goes for most godwars situations too, eh
  8. Yes it is, seriously, look it up, try it yourself. The scimitar is the same speed as the whip, which is the same speed as the dagger which is even the same speed as the short sword. Tis True! d scimmi is much better than d long btw stab/controlled is pointless... who trains with controlled, seriously? and stabbing is less accurate than slashing either way. Useing an accurate attack style gives a hidden +3 to your attack level, controlled is only +1 to all, which isnt a big difference compared to +3.
  9. Relax man, I've been doing 3 years of chemistry, I know how to control experiments and how to aquire accurate results, and the results say a scimmi is better in f2p and also better in p2p when no specials are used (which is stupid). the Dragon longsword special is far superior and we often found ourselves hitting 60+ in total very often with the entire bar used up, but then fails miserably when the real fight starts
  10. Try upgradeing your Java applet I use SUN java, works very well (I had the same disconnecting problem)
  11. shhhhh, be nice, lol
  12. while I dont entirely agree with the rant, I do think there should be a dragon warhammer...
  13. now you're just trying to get the last word lol the point of those tests were not for actual situations, they were to determine the effectiveness of specific weaponry. anyone knows how to duel, follows the basic formula of: 1. Turn on piety 2. ddp++ specs/d mace specs 3. switch out to whip 4. monitor closely yep, pretty much how all duels are played out without godswords, potions or food well, anyway, back on topic - scimitars are better
  14. lol, Godswords arnt overpowered, combat is all about luck and your skills Godswords specials dont always max you know :P and can be matched quite evenly with a rune defender + whip (not stat-wise of course)
  15. Like I said, they were test duels exclusivly one weapon against the other, no switching. I did it with a few mates
  16. plus the r2h has the cool cape wavey thing lol
  17. I've tested scimmi and longsword in multiple duels, scimmi won over the longsword in most cases but, in members - dragon long has a MUCH better special attack and wins most matches over a d scimmi.
  18. Sometimes people get bored of a particular weapon and want to experiment others or it could just simply be that the person doesnt have enough money to buy a scimitar/longsword and dont want to sell their 2h. (and yes, this is my first post on this forum - HELLO!!!)
