  1. In other words, ddp++ spec on 1 defense pure = PWNT thats why the smart pures usually get 40-45 defense.
  2. Here's another, I'm aware the pose is a little strange... the fact that she is holding the bow in the wrong hand, but I can just say she's just carrying it/ about to switch hands. I'll probably colour the next one.

This program is THE [fun?] Just from screwing around
  4. I personally don't think that splitbark denotes magic level 60 considering infinity robes require magic level 50 and give a whopping +55 magic attack bonus (on it's own).
  5. What do you mean by semi-full rune? You can only wear a shield if using a FoG robe set, and you really need druidic for the binding ability. Two people fighting with r scimis, then one suddenly uses a spell and it hits, If it hits hard, it can kinda freak out the opponent, they might waste some food. Though that kind of tactic isn't really advisable, lol, I'm just using it as an example here, something that I've tried. I mean rune chain and med helm instead of plate+full when I say "semi". (I can pull that off with 90 defense, but it's still better to wear full) Btw, using the FoG set in pvp solo is suicide, the defense bonus is +3.
  6. Ty : I'm working on another atm, It'll be up soon (I put more effort in this time)
  7. I disagree. People who spent hours training a skill like mining or WC or slayer should get more respect then someone who stood at a bank and no-lifed 100 hours. So no-lifing next to a rock or a tree or a monster deserves more respect than no-lifing at a bank? Anyone who has killed off that many hours on a single skill/objective demands recognition, it's just that the type of "recognition" can vary.
  8. *High five* YEEEAAAHHHH!!!! boydeath is the pure definition of badassery
  9. Its porbably because those specific capes are so freaking common and look so generic compared to the rarer capes like mining or smithing. besides, no offense, but the cooking cape looks like balls when it's trimmed. Red and purple is like... the worst combo ever - it goes with practically nothing. I laugh at firemaking capes because they're an epic waste, so you got 99 firemake? pfft, what you gunna do? light a pyre magic log in front of me? Wave your weird-[wagon] mining/woocutting tool around? ooooooo. So totally worth the 2 weeks you spent making those little "cht cht" noises.
  10. I think Jagex should just let F2P have access to buying and using Splitbark from the GE/other players instead of creating a whole new set of robes. Reason: Not many member actually USE splitbark anyway, it's pretty much obsolete as soon as you can wear it (the mage bonus blows hard compared to mystic) and once you can wear Ahrims, who needs anything else?! At least Non-members will make some use of it, as it is better than normal robes and more convieniant than the FoG Robes Here's some stats: Full Splitbark Requires 40 magic and defense (EASILY achieveable in F2P) Defense Bonuses: Stab +74 Slash +59 Crush +86 Magic Attack: +24 (+49 when with ammy and staff) Oldschool mage gear :ugeek: Requires NOTHING  Defense Bonuses: Stab +0  Slash +0 \ Crush +0 =D> Magic Attack: +5... (+30 with staff and ammy) :wall: FoG gear Requires magic 20 and defense 10 Defense Bonuses Stab +3 Slash +3 Crush +3 Magic Attack +16 (+41 with staff and ammy) Comparing Splitbark and FoG gear, we can see than Splitbark is statistically MUCH better, but the FoG are more desirable for training as they can save runes. And as you can see, it's not a HUGE boost to F2P magic proficiency if Jagex allowed splitbark, it just means they can stand a chance against equivilant meleers LIKE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO. Plus, I believe it is possible to see the splitbark mage npc in F2P worlds in wizard's tower so it's not a whacked out idea. Its actually a GOOD idea, it means that the price of splitbark will increase significantly due to non-member demand, therefore making it cheaper to obtain through the splitbark npc in wizard's tower (for members only), it breathes some life back into the temple building minigame, giving people an INCENTIVE to actually play it. All in all, if F2P had access to splitbark, it might actually make the solo mage over level 45 decent. (Besides the fact they would still get PWNT by rangers, but that's a given). At least having splitbark will give F2P accounts a goal concerning robes passed level 20 magic, it will end at 40 magic as does defense and range at the other points of the triangle.
  11. I think mage accuracy in F2P is very dependant on your mage level, mine is 85 and I can still hit consistantly with fireblast wearing semi-full rune against another full rune. Heck, I hit consistantly with ice blitz in full veracs (probably just luck).
  12. Those people are usually just proud that they have managed to create a pure account with some nice stats for pking, although creating a pure is kind of difficult, it generally takes much less time than working on a balanced fighter and completely fails in anything besides one on ones with someone of equal combat level. (Unless it's a range pure, they kick [wagon] and are surprisingly easy to create, but range is one of those skills that requires little more than patience to achieve 99) Just remember, the sheer fact that they are a strength pure means that they have effectivly limited themselves from the majority of the game (no defense) and they are willing to insult you on the basis of training defense? A little stupid, eh. Just remember that all pures are, doesn't matter what kind, are eventually surpassed by their balanced counterparts.
  13. They uncensored "[wagon]" so people could say: BADASS They uncensored damn because alot of people use it in normal speech anyway to express annoyance.
  14. I've been pretty inactive lately, so I might as well just share these sketches I did the other day Yeah... Darkening the lines of Photoshop screwed them up a bit, but whatever. Heh, I'll probably need to draw something to hold down the cape/cover. She's the commander of the highest sector of her country's army, but suffers from amnesia, she's in a teen mind-set. I could have made the hands a little bigger... meh, not that bad. Duuuude, check out the massive line I erased that came through, damn, -.-, no, that's not a hair on your screen... btw, that isn't armor, it's actually parasitic crap that's torn out of his body - yes, very painful. That weapon you see him holding I classify as a "short-halberd" This character was originally a humble gardener (lol) before being forcefully launched into the forefront of a global conflict. My main point is that he's pathetic, but awesome at the same time. He goes through so much [cabbage] that you'd expect him to drop everything and start cutting his wrists. It's mainly just spontaineous concept work on some characters I'm developing, nothing too serious (hence why there's no colour or removal of artifacts or extensive detail - Please do not comment on this, lol) The story I'm writting is ****ing epic, but I'm not going to post any because I'm concerned about my ideas being stolen. The title is "Transcendence". It's kind of a modernistic approach to a traditional fantasy except scrap most of the cliche elements (such as elves and dwarves and unexplained "magic") (I guess the "magic" in Transcendence is very comparable to the idea of "psionics" that exists in real life, but not fully) A while ago, I did post one of my early drafts here, but I've rewritten most of it now, it's almost completely different. I'll probably do some Runescape themed drawings in the future for sh.its and giggles, I've always wanted to do a badass representation of all of the Barrows brothers in the heat of battle.
  15. That is exactly it! Once someone learns to farm well, efficient and fast, then there is no reason not to do it. It takes very little time for the full run, and can yeild decent exp, and depending on herbs also good money. So, basically, anyone who hates farming is ignorant of how to do it properly (or is incapable of doing it properly :P , which is completely understandable)
  16. You like to talk in 3rd person, don't you?
  17. KAWAII!!!!
  18. You dont even need to be patient to farm, you just need a nice transportation method(e.g. PoH portals and an ectophial for the canafis patch), super compost (15 pineapples from brimhaven, then dump them in the compost bin north of ardy) and some ranarr/snapdragon seeds. Go plant the seeds, then you've got 75min of doing whatever you like: training, mini-games, or even other means of making money, e.g. killing ankous = combat exp + money (that's ALOT of cash after 75 minutes, I can get ~240k a cycle and if I do 4 cycles a day, that's roughly a 1000k in 5 hours, which is equivilant to 200k an hour + a LOAD of exp). That's 30mil in a month, easy, if your commited. (not to meantion 350k (with snapdragons) farming exp and 6000k(!!!) combat exp) Actually planting/harvesting the seeds from the 4 patches takes what? 5-10 minutes? farming is totally worth it, fair enough if you have a hard time getting around quickly, but not using super compost and complaining about disease is just sheer laziness, because it doesn't take very long to prepare at all, nor is it hard, especially if you do it while your herbs are growing.

They prob wont rise above whips, because whips are a more all-rounder weapon that you can use to pk, train AND kill bosses. the claws only have value for the special which will not always work.
  22. This is something I just CAN'T help and It really bugs me. I start uncontrollably shaking just after I encounter someone and am walking around again for a new opponent, I mean.. really BAD shakeing like, "[bleep] my mouse just slipped half way across the screen" shakeing. It never happens in safe minigames, only in pvp worlds (or in the old days, the wilderness) Half the time I'm shouting to myself: "HOLY CRAP, CALM DOWN YOU [bleep]ING DOUCHEBAG, THERE'S NO REASON TO SHAKE, YOUR [bleep]ING OWNING!", cause I'm not ACTUALLY scared, I just shake like crazy. I've tried SO hard to stop shaking, but It only stops when I log off. I'm pretty sure It was caused by bad wilderness experiences I had years ago which I can't remember, some screwed and psychological. A [developmentally delayed]ed subconscious thing. I'm guessing I'm a minority of one on this matter... -.- make fun of me all you want, I don't really care.

Then again look at the MSB spec that actually got "nerfed". Max hit with a MSB and rune arrows, potted and prayed with the MSB spec is what 25 (+/- 1), according to the Tip.It calc. So 25-25... then 25-25 was 100 damage which apparently jagex saw to be unfair in combat. Hitting a 25 the first time then a 25 the second spec with d claws you have said can total up to 99, wouldn't that be the same thing?? ----- EDIT: Then again now that I think about it, the D-Bow spec is like 48-48 max with void and that's 96 total. And they haven't nerfed that yet.. I suppose you are correct in saying that it's plausible to think there would be no nerfing needed. I guess Jagex has accepted the fact that their new weapons are going to do some damage, so for those that can afford them are the ones that can reap the benefits as well. I think I argued against myself rather effectively.. #-o INDEED!
  24. INDEED, When a level 70 is running from a lv110+, it wont do much to the outcome considering what little chance they have of gaining the same (or greater) ammount of charges standing outside the centre. The only time I see running as acceptable is when the level range between opponents is within 20 either way give or take. (90 against 110), (50 against 70). Otherwise it's just a waste of everyones time and token efficiency, that's why people get angry, not everyone has ALL the time in the world for 10+ minute games when you could easily play 3 games in the same time and get triple the tokens. People don't play this game for fun (those days are over), they play it either for tokens or magic experience, both in which do NOT require running in any shape or form, it's a dead and shunned, time-waster tactic.

Spec sounds overpowered. Anyone who gets a pair of these better put em to good use fast, I can see Jagex "nerfing" the spec like they did with the MSB. That's not how the spec works, It works like so: 1. You hit a value, say 30 (you WILL hit EVERYTHING after this point - your first hit makes or breaks the special) 2. Then you hit half of that value = 15 3. Then you hit half of that value twice = ~7 so you end up hitting: 30, 15, 8, 7 (=60) It works so that you ALWAYS hit double your first hit and I've calculated that the highest possible hit with these claws is ~43, so the max special is: 43, 21, 11, 11 (=86) which is very close to a 1HKO and almost the same as maxing with dharoks and since you can use the special twice, it's very devistating. This is what happens if you hit ZERO first. Your recieve 3 more hits, where the first is at full power. If you hit zero for the second, you recieve two more hits, if you hit zero again, your recieve on more. Here's it simplified. Ideal special: 40, 20, 10, 10 = 80 Failed first hit: 0, 40, 20, 10 = 70 Failed first AND second hit: 0, 0, 40, 20 = 60 Failed first, second AND third hit: 0, 0, 0, 40 = 40 Failed ALL: 0, 0, 0, 0 = 0 (duh) so, once you've hit some damage, it continues to stack on. There is a VERY low chance of the special hitting nothing. but, from what I've observed, the effects of the special (in terms of what damage is hit and when) varies ALOT. I believe it is the most complex special jagex have currently developed. Just have a look at the AGS special, that can potentually hit 75(+?) TWICE, so I dont think d claws are overpowered considering their substantually lower accuracy and strength. Though, if your first hit for both specials are 25+, it's an instant win against 99hp if the opponent doesn't/can't heal in between. (25, 12, 7, 6) + (25, 12, 7, 5) = 99 < BADASS I'll probably get a pair when the price dies down, I doubt they will be more expensive than a whip, considering the mediocre stats and lack of shield. stats: Stab = +41 Slash = +57 Crush = -4 Stab = +13 Slash = +26 Crush = +7 (It provides more slash defense than a rune defender) +56
