I guess should stop purposely leaving sketches incomplete (I was well aware of the lack of muscle tone and minimal detail, there's just no point in wasteing too much time focusing on single character concepts atm) =p Ok, I'll do the next one right now, *dives in head first with no references as always* I'll make this one's pose more dramatic... (and yeah, I kinda noticed males are easier, there's more room to screw up) At least I know I'm making slight improvements every attempt, that's always a good sign :), the more critical an audience becomes, the more potential they see, right? hehe.

For your own sake, it would be wise not to make that direct comparison again, hehe. But yeh, forging relationships is a skill and just like anything else, some people are better than others; Nonetheless, it is something you can learn.

You know what I hate... the type of rejections that are purely based on circumstance That way you are never sure if it would be ok to ask again later... whether she has actually rejected you as a person or whether she just doesn't see a relationship to be possible at that time (and her not specifying that). BE DIRECT DAMMIT -.- it saves a lot of mental turmoil...

Movies are definitly not first date material, there isn't enough interaction/conversation. They're fine once you know each other well. See... you might take her to see a good movie, then that tricks her into believeing that she enjoys herself in your company (but you diddn't do much in that date, you let the movie do all the work), she might agree to a second date... it will probably be your last with her. Also, it's a bad idea to think that the dark atmosphere of a theater is an excuse to start molesting her (by which I mean wondering fingers), it doesn't send the right message especially if it's a FIRST date. You're basically saying: "I WANT A PHYSICAL RELATIONSHIP, F*UCK ROMANCE" (lol, pun) A girl doesn't want a guy who's just horny all the time wanting to get into her pants... well I guess it depends on the girl...

Thats the idea, lol. but yeah, I'll probably have to alter the next one slightly in that respect.

You'll probably just have to wait it out, you don't want to cause any conflicts. I've been in a situation where practically ALL of my friends (includeing me) were going for the same girl. In these sort of situation it's really the girl's decision, you can't really impose anything on her without seeming desperate/aggressive. You don't want to start considering the girl as an item to be "had". Anyways I know how you feel about "why did it have to be so attracted to THAT girl", causes some major emotional semi-breakdowns, eh?

Yeah... you need to wait a few years, mabye 3-4.

Look, chances are you are going to break at least someone's heart in your lifetime CAREFUL mate, theres a massive difference between a relationship and a friendship, she might reject you out of awkwardness and then you'll put a dent in your friendship. It's best to go for girls that have had no prior experiences with you so that their only perception of you is as a lover.

Urrrgh, worrying about relationships so early is not a good move. Sure, it's perfectly natural to develop crushes, but it doesn't mean you are destined for each other, god. chances are - if you're not of the "bad-boy" archetype, your going to have an extremely hard time finding a girlfriend in high-school. (It takes time for girls to realise that "bad-boys" are complete jerks) and for crap sake, don't go out of your way trying to impress a girl, you'll look like a tool, if you ever impress a girl, it should happen without you specifically trying.

F2P mages completely DOMINATE early levels in pvp, but suddenly get their [wagon] handed to them around level 30 by equivilant archers (and even melee). Mages get demoted from solo god to wussy support as they become stronger (logic?)

Still... you can't deny that all skills besides combat are more like chores compared to logging into a pvp world and kicking some [wagon].

Yeah, Tbh I diddnt use a frame where I should have, It was more of an elaborated doodle. (I'm trying to achieve accurate anatomy without a frame, it just speeds things up, a little hard though, I always end up stretching female characters) What makes things more difficult is that I refuse to use reference images even though my friend is like: "USE REFERENCE IMAGES DAMMIT, YOU WILL IMPROVE FASTER", yes faster, but then I would be consciously appropriating someone else and I don't like that... even though it's a legit practise. (most people do it - thus a flooding of styles that look exactly the same as each other) Has anyone got any A3 paper? lol, seriously A4 is too small.

One thing I have learned in life is that if someone holding a knife asks you to apologize, you damn well apologize. Unless you yourself are also holding a weapon of comparable/greater magnitude well, enough of that anyway... lol
