  1. People aren't born with a desire to kill either, and society doesn't teach that violence is the answer, yet people are still driven to kill others. Yes it does, very subtly, if not blatantly. Mainstream media spreads these ideas. I see you're saying violence is the result of anger, anger is a human emotion, but it is immature to express anger through violence, humans are taught to be immature based on how they see others act.
  2. I'm actually getting varied opinions from others elsewhere, so whatevs got a question though, is GIMP better than Paint Shop Pro 9 (what I'm using). Btw I actually started making this with the intent of making it my MSN Banner =P
  3. I'm just gunna leave it now anyway, don't have time to mess with it anymore. Are you saying I should have just left it like this?
  4. ^ second that (in reference to before: You can't say humans are born with a desire for power, fame and wealth, our society teaches it. In an ideal world, conflict would only be caused through jealousy... crap... that means love is the root of all evil... - Ok, we're screwed)
  5. Good Idea, I'll add some text
  6. Not just social differences, EVERYTHING our society is based on is ultimately flawed. Think about it... the biggest one is obviously currency, sure it has helped us progress (into this hell-hole), but who decided to impliment currency? There surely wasn't a VOTE (another flawed aspect of our society) Why do we need the promise of monitary gain to be motivated? Why can't we be spiritually sustained just by helping one another? Why is there always a price? Rules that everyone blindly follows... It's how our society works. If these rules are challanged WE FALL APART. Why? Just go with the flow, we get what we deserve - there's nothing that can change this vicious cycle.
  7. Really? I had no idea that in the 80's and 90's we stole their properties, stole their heritage and assimilated all if them. You know what, the Japanese killed my relatives, I'm going to expect them make my life easier, they tried assimilating my country, so they should repay me, I don't care that I wasn't born during WWII but in 1992, they should have to do that.... You can't blame the Japanese in WW2, they had a psychotic emperor, most of them could see the war was futile. Plus, I'm pretty sure more japanese civilians lost their lives in WW2 than any other countrie's.
  8. You'll live long enough to feel and hear your own skull crushing into itself though.
  9. Disunity... history has encouraged us to band together into groups (large and small) based on similarities - this always spurs conflict amidst those who do not belong. Everyone wants a Utopia of equality and while it is technically possible, it will never happen. We are already too ingrained into out current belief systems for anything to change without some form of disastrous cataclysm - sadly, this is what we should hope for if the human race is to progress further... yes we're going backwards atm.
  10. Getting Your body buried underground (so only your head is exposed) then having a bull-dozer slowly drive over you
  11. I like the fog, is nice, v nice I don't speak for everyone of course, obviously.
  12. Nm, you're right, you can get the same effect without jagged edges I'll update in a second.
  13. lol, Ok for a first proper attempt right? Was a little hard finding sprites for those particular characters, had to enlarge 300% :P I like the pixelation though, looks oldschool - considering the game was released in 1994. I guess we have different tastes
  14. ......... UPDATE: another new sig now, I used the same base background though, I figured simpler is better
  15. Apparently the guy's face is a little too chunky and the chick's face is too thin, that's what I was told anyway, =P but, I was trying to stylize a little.
  16. You can totally see where I just scribbled, lol

I agree Firemaking is so tedious and repetitive for no real reason, Jagex could EASILY impliment a light "X" option when using a tinderbox on logs. It's not like it would speed the skill up at all, make it easier? Yes, but who cares? It's firemaking  Such an update would barely effect the economy and the fm skillcape is already the least respected one of the bunch. Remember how stringing bows diddn't have a string "X" option? Yeah, THAT was fixed. It just occured to me - how bloody ridiculus it is to continuously light a trail of fires in a place like the GE. From a design perspective, I think firemaking was pretty broken from the start, in fact... why the hell is it even a skill? It should be part of cooking or something. Well - too late to change anything now, there's too much content made specifically for it, not to mention all those people who put effort into it would go ape-[cabbage].
  18. Considering each attempt is 3 seconds, 3 x 50 = 150, 2.5 minutes. Plus it's currently holidays for me, of course I'm going to have a lot of time anyway :P
  19. Did someone take that or did you video yourself and then take a snippet? I set my laptop on the ground and aimed it up, then took a timed picture XD took so many kicks to get the photo right... lol, probably around fifty
  20. DYNAMIC ENTRYYYYYYYYY!!!
  21. Yeah, can't help think that myself, aha. Now that I've got a personal reference, next one should be fine.
  22. He has been partially deformed, I kinda did that on purpose :P
  23. lol, I though it was trippy, I'll post a clean one in a second
  24. The arms are meant to be longer than usual btw, it's part of the mutation, then again I'll probably change it.. yeah i think i screwed up the right arm a little XP He's technically not human there, so I guess I can get away with it lol. That's at 50% conversion: - His upper body has stretched out a little - The bones in his hands got bigger - Obvious wings - Some joins extended into [bleep]es and broke out of his skin (painful =p)
