  1. thats what i would do but around 60 range you start killing them so fast there's no room for multitasking. i kill moss giants at 84 range and it gives me enough time between mossies to surf the web or tip.it. Now is that the best way to train range effectively and efficiently, gawd no but it keeps me from melting, which in this 100 degree weather here it could possibly happen So true, lol ================================================= Well, you dont really need to buy all your arrows in one ridiculously huge stack, why dont you just buy them in 2-3k bunches then go sell the loots from monster drops in between? That way you can buy reasonably strong arrows and still profit depending on what you kill.

    Much agreeness
  3. You could just use the dunge ring to bank, it seems to be the trend nowdays.

*points at barbed bolts* THAT... 1. 51 fletch to make? +12 ranged strength? 2. Can only go on bronze bolts? That means the tips only increases the bolts strength by +2?! Solution: Make barbed tips increased ranged strength well over the best gem that can go on that particular metal (having said... allow the barbed tips to be attached onto every kind of bolt, provided the player has a high enough fletching level... requirements update proposal: barbed bronze: lv12 barbed iron: lv42 barbed steel: lv51 barbed mithril: lv60 barbed adamant: lv68 barbed rune: lv75 Also, I'm aware that barbed bolts give a significant portion of fletching experience per bolt as it stands (almost 10exp), but nobody fletches ammo for training... well at least not ammo that is COMPLETELY useless.
  5. Summoning is god, lol
  6. You're making it sound like the people aiming for 200m exp skills are a majority.
  7. Well yeah, as long as you dont completely waste your barrows screwing around in a non-profitable minigame the repair cost wont ammount any loss of wealth. Even then you could spent 13 screwing around and 3 hours slaying, you'd still yield some decent profit.
  8. Just because they're a higher level than you doesn't mean they didn't have fun. Somehow you keep managing to say more idiotic things each time I read your posts. GTFO. No need to be so mean, don't spread hate, its unhealthy 0.o
  9. Grinding alchs is training hard? I call slayer training hard XP ==================================== Comon, we all understand the cause of the OPs infinite RAGE, trying to fight just one high level ancient mage with those stats is hell... more like suicide. If you really hate those ancient mages, train up your ranging, then fire a few bolts up their [kitty] robe-skirts, you'll find it works quite well.
  10. Oh.. so the apparent luxury of having an onyx ring (i) makes it 60mil? pfft, spread +6 bonuses, another instance of bs overpricing due to laziness. Can't argue with that tbh.
  11. Anyone with half a brain is gonna make the effort to either keep the gem or turn it into a ring. No one is stupid enough to make a fury. Onyx = 60m gp, 2.7m tokkul. You don't attain any extra wealth through junk trading than you do selling it on the GE, doesn't anyone alknowledge that? -.= That's why junk trading is broken and pointless. Just a bloated illusion Plus, I would really like to know the reason someone would blow 60mil on junk to buy an uncut gem that is essentially useless
  12. Wait what? Furys are like 1mil more expensive than an uncut onyx which is 300k more expensive than cut onyx. AWW MAN, lv90 crafters have it so easy, potential 28mil profit per inventory 0.o LOL (not serious) not really, since anyone with half a brain is gunna make the effort to MORPH their uncut gem into a fury through the power of assistingnessmegahaxpwn or of course, given the caliber of most players who attain uncut onyx gems, they wouldn't even need assists. Also, it kind of sucks that tokkuls are worth less than gp now...
  13. What he said. Junk trading exists for items the GE cannot cope with...these items being things that rise massively in price from the GE price, or for well.... really rare items in game, i.e. rares and spirit shields. The GE works fine for the SoL, and you think that is overpriced.... Well, most really good high end items are, in my opinion, overpriced. In a way. That is, I don't think most of them should be as expensive as they are, but people are willing to pay a premium for the top gear in game, and supply and demand causes the high price. Unless your a J-Mod. you have to live with it. I said that the staff of light isn't expensive ENOUGH, while the street price for battle robes are waay over the top. If they were like 6mil, yeah I'd consider paying that, but 15mil, no way. Sol should be 10mil+, and battle robes should be 6-7mil not the other way around. Then again, I'm not enitre sure how frequent the Sol drop rate is. I expect battle robes to rise well over the current GE price of about 850k, but 15mil.. hell no, it wont happen - people are just greedy. Well, whatever you opinion on the price of the staff of light SHOULD be, there GE is working perfectly fine to keep up with the supply and demand of that item. Junk trading only happens when the GE cannot keep up with the supply and demand. So, as best as I can tell, your ranting because items aren't worth what you think they should be worth. You can stop blaming greed for that. If you don't like the way supply and demand dictates RS economics, become a communist. The reason why battle robes are worth so much is because, unlike you, there's plenty of people WILLING to pay that price. Hmm. While your at it, why not throw in rangers boots? Lol. Yeah why not, lol (I gave up on battle robes tbh, wasn't worth the trouble.) RS economy has been going down hill since pvp drops were changed to those bogus artifacts. I'm probably just angry because I lost most of my wealth to inflation over 2 years of quitting, although mostly an error on my part for selling everything. My stance on junk trading will never change, it's a result of impatience, greed and idiocy on both sides. The only people actually capable of junk trading are either those who have POINTLESSLY invested in junk (selling/buying junk lolololol) or those whom already possess excessive gps and have spent money training a particular skill which accumulated ungodly quantities of junk, they should have been prepared to sacrifice whatever investment they sunk into a skill to train it.
  14. A fury totally isn't worth either 22 hours OR 11mil+ (mini RAGE) but I guess if you're going for an onyx, it roughly equates to 500k+ an hour. Which is [cabbage] all tbh.
  15. I too have a hard time believeing that it's a 1/18 drop rate, lol
  16. I dont want to, that's boring and slower, lol.
  17. I guess thats true, yet battle robes weren't worth squat before the fog rewards update, they were even rarer then.
  18. This is the case for most mmos, they essentially become a massive 'to-do' list for your character and you keep setting new goals after you achieve what you wanted. Thats why a lot of the high end players get bored quickly and demand new content., they don't want to feel like they wasted so much time over the years playing the game by just quitting.
  19. Not sure, runescape.com works fine for me. Try reseting your connection? Maybe restart your computer.
  20. I live in Australia, semi-rural NSW north-west of Sydney. Nice place, we got animals, plenty of land etc. It makes me dislike the city somewhat though, I enjoy the open+uneven terrain. I don't plan on moving away any time soon. Can't really say if the way i think of others/myself is influenced by my environment, I'd say its more influenced by my experience. I've been to a few other countries, interestingly i feel most at home around the mountains of Siciliy (place of my genetic heritage), more-so than my actual home. There is undeniably a vast separation of paradigm between countries of the world, I see this as a bad thing.
  21. I wouldn't completely dismiss the possibility, but this isn't something I could believe unless I was the one observeing it.
  22. I lost a lot of weight simply by cutting soft-drinks out of my usual intake, and power walking 4-10km at 6%-12% incline on the treadmil every second day. Also, excersise bikes are excellent for building up lower body strength (developed muscles burn fat faster/more efficiently just to operate, and your legs have some of the biggest muscles in the body)

  24. Void set increases accuracy by 30%, which is quite signficant if you have a reasonably high magic level. Plus it doesn't degrade 0.o
  25. Yeah, pretty much lol
