Cac's Miscellaneous Endeavour
I've decided to run Kingdom Management for a full year, only claiming the resources at the very end. During this time, I will also be training my mining/smithing. This goal is to smelt 10,000 mithril bars (via super-heat item) then smith them all into throwing knives with (20) morphic hammers. This will be very on-and-off. I will be mining coal at the mining guild with a full inventory of mithril ores minus 6 spaces for coal, nature runes and a lava staff. I'm also employing varrok armor for practicality. I will NOT invest in a dragon pick-axe, 10% faster mining is not worth 14mil. Worker setup 10 in herbs 5 in raw fish Progress Report Kingdom Management Days Left: 356 Current Coffer Consumption: 675k Coal Mined: 3280 Mithril Bars Smelted: 820 (1k milestone imminent!) ========================================================== By the end I should have attained the following: ~90mil profit Mining Level 82 Smithing Level 78 Magic Level 87 A sweet screenshot ========================================================== I will update thread thread once in a while. Daily when I feel like it/have the time. If I reach my mining/smithing goal early, I will continue passed 10k bars, also thinking of switching to adamant ores.

3M and just coming back
It doesn't matter too much what you spend your money on, just make sure it's resellable and has a stable price. Much better to put money into items than to leave money lying around (I got screwed over by long-term inflation by doing the latter). EDIT: Sorry, I miss-read your post. For some reason I skipped the 'won't' between 'probably' and 'become p2p'.

Good range training location?
I've just answered something similar, I'll quote myself:

Is the darkbow worth the price?
where are the chaos druids and are they better profit than green dragons and if so, how much more profit /exp per hour. The druids are found directly along the tunnel from the entrance of taverly dungeon. I'd say they're better than dragons. I can't remember the exact specifics on with exp/hour. But here's some numbers: - 200 Hp, low defense, they die VERY quickly. - Respawn in ~6 seconds, if the world is empty or even just one other person with you, you're going to be constantly in combat. - extremely easy to safe-spot, but this is only relevant to 1 defense pures. - Drops include most high level herbs very common to get two at a time (double ranarr drops included). If you leave all herbs harralander and below, your full inventory of loot can easily reach 150k+ depending on specific herbs. A full inventory takes ~80-90 minutes. You should be 1mil+ richer by the time you hit 70. - If I recall correctly, it's roughly 30k ranged exp an hour (give or take 10k) at 60-70, depends how concentrated you are. It's hardly something you can afk. If you play for about 3 hours a day, it should take you less than a week to reach 70.

Lazy Jerks
There's a lot of little kids on f2p, no denying that. Some of them are kind-hearted/uncorrupted, they're usually around 8-12 years old, sometimes they don't know any better (based on annoying in-game actions). Most of the utter jerks I've encountered say they are between 13-16, many in p2p. they insult everyone younger than them for being a noob, and everyone older than them for being a sad 'no-lifer' for 'still playing this game'. I like to intellectually screw with them XP.

Is the darkbow worth the price?
Don't bother with either. For one, a darkbow's primary use is for pking with a range level much higher than 60 (usually in conjunction with void-range set). Secondly, the dragon 2h is more of a novelty than anything else. I used to have one lying around when It looked awesome, and held it wrong in f2p (it would look like a HUGE longsword). As a weapon, it sucks the nuts, it may hit a bit higher than a whip, but since RS combat is all about balancing speed with power, it's too much of a sacrifice, not to mention that special attack has zero practical uses besides in Pest Control (where it usually fails anyway, plus you only get half exp). Even a dragon battle-axe is better imo. Trust me, every time I bought either weapon (especially the d2h) out of boredom, I regretted it very soon after. =================================================== Train range with the traditional shortbow setup with an accumulator at chaos druids, it's faster exp than a crossbow. I've almost got my range pure to 80 there (also go to tzharr to mix things up). The chaos druids themselves yield very nice profit, you can easily pay to train with steel/mith arrows and still pocket extra.

Video Gamers can control Dreams
Lucid dreaming comes in two stages: 1. Recognising that you are dreaming within the dream (this is made more likely if you tend to dream CRAZY things (as a gamer would)) 2. Staying asleep after the initial revelation. This is where developed spacial skills come in handy, gamers are better adapted to becoming engrossed within a separate reality. I've read that lucid dreams are much more frequent if you tend to dream in 1st person, as opposed to 3rd. Actually, I think it's impossible to have a lucid dream in 3rd person. Which is a shame because games (especially mmos) promote 3rd person more than 1st. It's also possible to directly slip into a lucid dream if you wake up early in the morning then decide to sleep in for an hour or two (your body is in the perfect physical/chemical state for a lucid dream). This is when most occur. ========================================================= Sometimes I go through lucid dreaming phases where I have them consecutively for up to 10 days in a row. Needless to say, its quite a mind-blowing experience, XD, some of my friends get jealous. Most of the time; as soon as I realise I'm dreaming, I'm like 'sweet...' and start floating around instead of walking. There was also this bizarre incident in a dream where I forcefully tried to wake myself up (really dramatic-like, I basically jumped up into the air and smashed the ground with my fist, colourful exposions, etc), although all I accomplished was teleporting myself back in time (lolol), I re-experienced the same dream knowing what would happen, making more advantageous decisions. here's a few funny unrelated moments: - Me trying to hide a katana sword (which I somehow obtained after an excursion to Sea World) under a sheet of paper in class - Breaking statues makes them come to life and fight for you (??? ) - Me giving a police officer the finger, getting shot, then insulting the police officer, getting shot again then take cover behind a yellow car... you will never guess what comes next... the police officer walks over to a nuclear warhead and detonates it on himself for no apparent reason. Don't ask why I wasn't affected by the blast, for some reason the car protected me, though the raditation did seem to take its toll. So I stole the dead police officer's radiation suit.... I KNOW THAT MAKES NO SENSE. - Some strange theatre where audience members were called up to be the actors, getting only a few seconds to read their scripts. I was cast as the main character... it involved running onto the stage and 'murdering' everyone else with imaginary dagger jestures. I got a bit carried away and punched this little kid in the chest, he was like 'ow...'. - Was getting really scared in a dream, So I was like '[bleep] THIS!' and went dbz on everyone's asses (really, that one was screwed up, I leaped up 10 metres and started fighting this random adversary that just materialised from nowhere, probably the manifestation of my fears). I could go on forever about all the lucid dreams I recall . Though alot of it is really perverted and fetish oriented, so best not describe, LOL

Another Character Concept
lol perhaps, probably just screwed up the contrast, ah yeah, thats right, I did a 100% contrast instead of a 66% #-o. I guess I'll fix it up later. Sometimes I forget that 100% contrast only works if I do hatch shading. Should probably invest in a graphics tablet, got any brand suggestions? Something within ~$300 range. It's a little awkward trying to trace into illustrator otherwise. Thus I cbf.

Jagex's updates
The OP needs to stand back and think about what he is saying, there is no problem being addressed, he's RAGEing because he keeps hearing other immature prats complaining then just automatically agrees with them (ala sheep mentality). Jagex has totally just barged in and trashed your room, right? It would be more accurate to say they calmly entered their own house to adjust the placement of a few ornamets - then you (as the guest) angrily order them to stop, you liked the clutter, you've grown attached to that fallen coat-hanger across the door etc. Then they kindly offer you a lolly-pop despite your insults - you take one taste and throw it into the carpet because it wasn't the right flavour. Afterwards you wonder why they don't listen while screaming through their open window. Don't be too disappointed, I'm sure Jagex loves the money you keep slipping through their letter-box with zero obligation. nice...

Castle Wars new rewards
I know, it doesn't describe the bolt purchase too well, but 4 tickets actually equates to 100 bolts, which is good enough for about 3 games. Spending tickets on ballista parts/bolts for 3 games in a row is possibly one of the worst things you could ever do, because you need to win 15 games in a row to start earning more tickets again (compared to your original total). I made a suggestion before that they should turn all the ballista parts/ammo purchases into a single resellable expensive(ish) key that allows access to a ballista section of the castle storerooms, where you can still only take out one of each part and 30 ammo a match.

Monsterhunting with these stats
Those stats can solo armadyl boss, but you'd do better in a team. Well, you could team any boss with your ranging level, it would just help if your defense was 90+ also. I wouldn't try melee though. You could probably join a large-ish bandos team and melee, but don't expect much loot until your lsp rack up like crazy (missing out a hilt helps, lol). Generally 90+ stats (for the ones you are using) and at least 70 prayer is good enough to be efficient at gwd. Also, I suggest killing aberrant spectres with a salve (e) amulet to train your melee stats. Or you could just continue with slayer in general, its' totally worth the effort. Also train your summoning to 68 so you can use a war tortoise and a bunyip, the tortoise is amazingly helpful for many situations (includeing boss hunting), while the bunyip will guarentee longer slayer runs.
