  1. Seriously, It feels so dead in the mining guild nowdays, they're so many bots and usually only one other legit player to talk to. Of course I report all the bots, but there is just so damn many of them in EVERY world. To make things worse, many of them also have a wcing cape, now what does that say? (they bot wc obviously). I'm seeing players within all level ranges botting, upstart pures, medium level skillers, even extremely high levels. RAAAGGGEEEE. Fix the bot detection system Jagex, ffs. It's just like anti-virus software, it becomes useless over time with no updates. There's always going to be [wagon] programmers who think they're bad-ass making auto software and distributing it to lazy teens for free (or worse... a price).
  2. You mean like... a sig advertising your account?
  3. I think i'll revamp the basic design tommorow. I've got an idea, lol.
  4. Banking to get more mithril ores would be a hassle anyway. I would think the mining guild would be a little bit better for superheat+mining. ah, I thought the bank was close in the living rock caverns, or is it only a deposit bank?
  5. Yes, but ill only have room for 4 coal at a time, might as well just superheat right away instead of the extra clicks.
  6. damn, I was hoping I could use one for concentrated coal deposiits in the future while superheating mithril but it'll probably just be an inconvenience.
  7. Does it automatically fill as I mine, or do i have to manually fill it?
  8. You sell all of your items, leave the pile of gold in the bank for a year and then tell me that inflation isn't a bad thing.
  9. Personally, I don't really enjoy pure screamo, but I don't disrespect it as a genre. I prefer post-hardcore stuff like Enter Shikari.
  10. One of my friends commented "angry hitch-hiker" lol
  11. I pretty much died after going 65-70 fm on yews, I have no idea how people manage 99 fm on maples.
  12. A sink has to be forced for it to be effective. Or at least required for something very popular.
  13. Work with me here. What is it you don't like about what I listed? About your ideas, are we talking a 1000 gp to enter a dungeon that nets 10k gp at the minimum inside? What do you mean by transportation costs? Look at the tip.it page on transportation, it's huge covering all manner and mode of transportation including dying. I honestly don't think a reasonable increase in cost of either that'll draw out the billions that enter the game on a monthly basis. Mmk i shouldnt have said i hate all of them, but heres my opinions on them. Ill number my opinion in the same order as the money sinks you proposed. 1. GE tax would kill the economy, a lot of people would avoid the ge, making street prices for common items making EVERYONE not just party hat owners reliant on junk. 2. Good idea nice OPTIONAL money sink for those who can afford it. I dont know how popular it will be but i like this one. 3. Good idea as well except it kinda takes away from the danger of pking, and different street prices then ge prices can make some people loose less money then they would have if they lost the item and had to buy a new one. I like this one too though 4. Tombstones are the replacement for friends being able to pick up your items. Since pvp you lose everything if you die anyways it makes sense to have an option to save something at a price... this however is like a GE tax, it would make the game harder and its not optional since death happens to everyone. 5. NPC runners can break the game for runecrafting. How many runenrs would someone get, how much xp per hour would they deserve. Should they be allowed to profit and get good xp still? plus NPC's running for you would kinda break a skill like rc. Its good for construction (my butler works his ass off when im training ;) ) but not for runecrafting. And for my idea, think brimhaven dungeon its 850 gp. That was a lot more when the dungeon first came out then it is now. I think it should be bumped up to 8.5k. Transportation would be like ships to karamja or charter ships. i think 10x higher cost would draw out considerably more amounts of money. I don't think increasing the price of transport would solve much, remember there's plenty of ways to by-pass having to travel by ship. It would only affect the low-mid players who don't have access to other means. Also, there's not a very large percentage of player population who actually use the brimhaven dungeon, besides the fact that the drops from the dungeon itself cancel out the cost of entering.
  14. How much is too much lower? I'm level 65 combat and have beaten plenty of 100+ that get easily annoyed. I'll admit, if they are higher than 120+, I usually don't bother. But if all the person being hunted is going to do is go to the center and pray, I definitely have a good chance of winning. Running and hugging are very good strategies that can equalize FoG considering high levels already have a tremendous advantage. I'm talking less than lv50, I'm around cb lv 118 on f2p. Anyway, it's pretty easy to catch a runner if you've got a bow+addy arrows with you. If they start using the portals, they're killing themselves faster.
  15. If you want more consistent returns, put 5 in raw fish instead of maples.
  16. Well, personally I find it annoying when people much lower level than me run in FoG (especially on f2p), it's just a waste of my time. On the other hand; if we are about equal, I prefer it that we both play our roles properly.
  17. I have nothing to say besides how brilliant these ideas are. GE tax should have existed from the start.
  18. either way, that's still a crap-load of casts, plus it doesn't take too much effort to recharge them back to full nowdays.
  19. I think he means setting your dungeon complexity to level 1 by going through the ring/party menu so you can quickly reach floor 15. From there you set complexity back to 6 for full experience.
  20. wouldn't hurt to bring a bow or something, just to guarentee kills for yourself.
  21. Because we endorse being a cheating ass-hole :wall: <_<
  22. Kingdom management = free 200k+ a day for almost nothing. All you have to do is keep the kingdom coffers above 750k and make sure you log in to mine a single coal rock every day to keep approval rating at 100%.
  23. Vannaka can dual wield, he's the greatest swordsman alive. This I know, for Tutorial Island tells me so. Vannaka eats cake.
  24. There's a difference between being cool and being a balanced update. I'm pretty sure we've clarified that already  There's no dual wielding because it doesn't fit into the game design. No matter how you look at it. Extra speed? Op much... Extra strength? Op much.. Extra accuracy? Op much... wait what? that makes defenders redundant Reduce special bar drain? Op much... Having to pay for two weapons? Nobody would want that Besides... we do have dual wielding, it's called torags hammers XD ============================================================ I'm pretty sure most of the posters here realise this already, I'm just making it clear to lurkers, dont want them getting any stupid unoriginal ideas.
  25. Exactly what I said; however, the Runescape character, supposedly right-handed, pulls with its left Lol, oops read it wrong. I don't know, maybe they are ambidextrous, they left arm is really strong, just look at that dfs/ granite shield, and think how tough it must be to lift it. you don't need something as petty as strength to hold a dfs. its all in the DEFENCEsssss....
