PMod Corruption Much?
I thought it was other Pmods that forced name-changes.

pvp drops
Loot does seem rather random, I remember getting a darkbow off a ddp++ one-itemer with minimal EP. Though this may have been before the update, I've received sht all since then.

High level [bleep]S thinking they're entitled to stealing worlds
Instead of getting angry at this person who tries to KS you, why don't you completely ignore the issue and randomly start talking about other stuff, they'll start to like you and be more willing to share. Only the worst are anti-social enough to continue being twits afterwards.

Behind the Scenes - July
Even if current rewards stay at a constant rarity, we can still expect a drop in price before and during the update due to players semi-panicking and selling off their items.

They'll probably update them to look more like the iron dragon in Daemonheim.

Behind the Scenes - July
It's still definitely worth it though. I never said it was a bad thing :] Prices are bs atm. I'm still quite worried about the near future implications of the climbing boots shenanigans. Perhaps it was a ploy to set up subsequent updates like this one, to generate enormous quantites of wealth then provide an incentive to help spread it through the wider player-base. Especially if treasure trail rewards are going to become much more common along with 150+ new rewards, geez.

Jagex must enjoy screwing with their own economy   I'm expecting some slight crashes in current treasure trail rewards.

Bots are making a come-back
Everyone here knows you're trolling, you can stop now.

why..
The 'page cannot be displayed' came up nearly all of today for me (trying to open tip.it). Server issues? Traffic? idk.

E3 2010
I think it's safe to say Nintendo wiped the floor this year.

Do we even need a Combat Triangle?
Except when you try to take on a primal forgotten warrior with it, or in fact any enemy that is specifically resistant to melee and not 30+ levels weaker than you.

kill stealers at tzhaar
Yeah, best to just world hop as soon as you notice someone being a twit.

Bots are making a come-back
The analogy was a joke, why so serious, lol. I'm saying that during your disregard for the issue, it's not impossible for botting to become so overblown that the game largely suffers for it, even players are unaware/don't care; soon it would be impossible for them not to alknowledge the problem. Of course, I have no idea whether bots will get that bad and I mostly doubt it, although don't dismiss the possibility so early. That's an inaccurate assumption

Coming back after 3 years, what should i level?
ah ok, forgot that kings ransom had a 65 defense requirement. In that case a proselytes pure's only option is ancient curses, and that pretty much requires almost maxing out your prayer.
-
Stars.
You could try one other language servers, I usually do that when I want to go kill green dragons.
-
logging out
Yes the log-out problem is common atm. You can either press slowly or double click either log-out option (happens on both).

Coming back after 3 years, what should i level?
Well, you still have a lot of options really, the only things you can't be are builds that require lower defense. As it stands, you can keep defense as it is (proselyte pure), or raise it to 40 (rune), 45 (berserker pure), 60 (dragon) or 70 (barrows). Though I think 30 defense in f2p is kind of insubstantial. I highly recommend raising it to 40, just for the benefits of rune plate over adamant. It's not as much of an issue in p2p since fights don't last as long. Also note that you can't really take full advantage of being a proselyte pure unless you have at least 70 prayer for piety (ancient curses are even better, check them out if you don't know what they are yet) Of course, you can always aim for 99 strength as well.

Bots are making a come-back
Do I want? No. Do I care? No. I play runescape because I enjoy certain aspects of the game, not because someone is making more money than me or has an advantage. Quite a selfish paradigm you've got there. Plus, that sentence makes no sense. It is implied that people would play the game because someone else is making (much) more money or has an (unfair) advantage. I believe you are trying to convey that you would play regardless of what is going on around you simply because you enjoy the game. Tell me, would you still have lunch at your favourite cafe' if nukes were being dropped outside? (I know that's a bit extreme, but same basic premise).

Bots are making a come-back
Lol to who? A bunch of whiny children on this forum? Runescape mirrors the real world and there's always going to be people looking to take the easy way out. I'm not concerned. Other people said they're not concerned. It happens. It's happening. Yes it sucks, deal with it. I'd call it a concern when Jagex scrapped its 'iron-fist-perma-ban-regardless' mentality because they were losing too much money coming from all the subscribed botters. Do you want this game's foundation to be a horde of botters? The worst jagex will do to you currently for a first time botting offense on a p2p account is an 8-day ban with no future implications. This is practically inviting people to try botting. Moral corruption much?

Bots are making a come-back
Any half decent recently published bot has some form of response script. All the people using response scripts I've that encountered made it blatantly obvious they were botting.

Bots are making a come-back
I've seen a progress report. Paint on a bot client never lies, as there is no way you can fake it. Trust me this was legit, this guy is very well known among botters. I'd call that a one-off fluke. The risk of getting banned rises exponentially the longer you bot, but never quite hits 100%. This example cannot by applied to the whole. Plus, what are the details? Was it a low-risk area like fight caves? How advanced was the bot for the time/How long were the auto-logout breaks set to? Those are big factors.
-
Bots are making a come-back
A bot can be automatically caught if they're online for extreme lengths of time (24-7 non-stop). I'm also pretty sure that the system can detect (lack of) natural mouse/camera movement over an extended period, but bots usually circumvent this. Having said, the detection system is pretty useless, all someone has to do is limit the amount of daily botting time.

Bots are making a come-back
Hmm are you sure it's not only for bad language? I certainly could report the player for using macros. If I couldn't, how would reports work? The spoken/trade thing is only required for some specific offenses.
