  1. These rewards are impossible to attain unless you actually have the time to no-life cwars. The reason why plenty of people exist with massive piles of tickets is because they got bored with everything else, most likely being maxed out, and just default to playing cwars 24/7, they have nothing else better to do (obviously being hopelessly addicted to RS, so they can't just log off, right?). oh, you're cool arn't you. I'm sure you'll have a hard time deflating that virtual ego of yours. I'm totally crying; waaaaaaaaaaahhhhh Even though your stance would be the exact opposite if you hadn't already grinded cwars up the ass. Congratulations for having superior time wasting skills.
  2. yes, but in this instance, it is especially horrible with a complete disregard for the source material. Anyway, I never said this was a new phenomena. Basically telling people to wait until the official subs are released if they are curious to watch this series passed episode 18.
  3. Yes, those were awesome, can't remember them too well though.
  4. something tells me that logic is flawed
  5. says the guy with ~22k posts. How many people can top that? Overall Top Posters :P Sooo... nobody. Anyway post count can be deceptive, heck I have been reading these fourms for ages and ages and got an account maybe 2 months ago.... Yes, lurking is another factor, lol
  6. I'm pretty sure there's a great deal of sarcasm bleeding from the edges of this thread. well if there isn't I'd be sorely disappointed
  7. The description is right, those prices are probably out-dated since it was posted nearly 2 years ago, still gives a rough idea though. Looks like an efficient guide. 150/22 likes to dislikes can't really lie either. ================================= Regarding the SC hammers. Go for it, it saves a lot. The games are also pretty fun. It's quite likely you can get a hammer every 20 minutes, plus no need to get all 130 of them in one go.
  8. My post count isn't really that massive here, but It's pretty annoying that high post counts can sometimes bloat a person's ego. Looking at anyone with a considerably low post count; if they're not trolling, they have the same right to an opinion as everyone else.
  9. It would work if players were compensated, but I'm not sure if all minigame histories are recorded into player accounts.
  10. Probably shoulda mentioned this is the first post but I dont have full void and absolutely despise PC. Is it really worth getting if i struggle to make it through games? Void range is more for raising your max hit, wearing regular armor is more accurate if your range isn't near maxed (since void works off percentage).
  11. Hate it, now there's even more reason to boost the ticket rewards.
  12. The first episode of the english dub was literally released a few days ago. Being aired on cartoon network I think.

Also, if you have decent strength (90+), you can constanty throw heavy shots upstairs, since you can just rest off the energy usage. Diddn't take very long to a get enough tokens for a rune defender that way, like an 1 hour in total. The main problem here is how badly the guilds have been neglected, and how limited their usage is. There are only a few guilds that can stand up to their name (namely the fishing guild, which I think is more effective at training cooking than the cooking guild (based purely on the resources the guild itself provides)) It would also be pretty awesome if there was a guild above that of legends, like a grandmaster guild. Dragon kiteshield much? Or how about dragon warhammer and shortsword?
  14. I mostly remember that being how they encoded messages they sent over long distances. Where they also had to remove the words that related to a drawn picture beside it.
  15. ah, good to know official subs are being released. I love this ending so much, lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgnL7FyLRQE&playnext_from=TL&videos=c23DAswF5Y0
  16. It's a bit of a stretch, but I think it works. Especially due to the episodic nature of the books. Also, I read somewhere that Emily Rodda commissioned it herself because her kids were into anime. Was pretty huge in Japan during 2007.
  17. What do you mean lock? It's off-topic. Anyway, of course it's gunna get locked if you encourage spam like that. It appears I missed film and television though
  18. Sorry, I just felt like I should mention how laughably horrible the fan-subs are for episodes 18 onwards XD XD They get practically every name wrong and you can barely understand what the hell they're talking about most of the time. Its a shame because I prefer the japanese voice actors in comparison to the admittedly dull english ones that have just premiered. I should probably be grateful it has been subbed at all. What can I say? I'm hungry for childhood reading nostaglia. It was an excellent series and the anime portrays it brilliantly. Its times like this I wished I chose Japanese in highschool, damn Latin...
  19. I don't think you fully understand the magnitude of the insulting ridiculousness. Obtaining a full set of profound armor is probably THE most difficult achievement in runescape as things stand and wrongly so (cwars isn't a test of skill, it is a test of luck and free time). Yet its stats are only equivilant to rune and the special effect is limited to castle wars, a game you would be hopelessly tired of by the time you get your hands on it. Does that justify wasteing upwards of 1 billion gp and a good portion of your actual existence? (almost 0.2% of your entire life, assuming you live to 80, you probably wont if you're adamant to spend that much time on your [wagon]. That is a MASSIVE portion of time wasted on a single minigame that doesn't really contribute much to the game as a whole.). You could even start factoring in the monetary cost of running your computer/router for that long. Think about it, a full set of void doesn't take anywhere near that sort of time to acquire and it is many times more useful. Look at its history, Jagex adjusted the points rate for that minigame, why not castle wars? How about actually getting tickets for kills and flags. Why not? because it would make sense? bloody hell.
  20. Even if you don't buy the consumables, its still grossly unfair that you leave with nothing after wasteing 20 minutes if you lose. Not to mention that the greater variety of rather expensive rewards pretty much warrants an adjustment to the ticket-rate. Before the update things were simple: Red cwars armor? Yeah that was for the p2p newbies who wanted to look cool in non-member and lie about it being dragon plate. Easy to get. 23 tickets = roughly 8 hours (opportunity cost = 1mil-8mil wasted) White cwars armor? For the people who loved the game, but played casually - it was quite possible for a normal person to obtain, I had the top and legs. 230 tickets = roughly 80 hours (opportunity cost = 10mil-80mil wasted) Gold cwars armor? Now we cross the threshold, cwars no-lifers only. 2300 tickets = roughly 800 hours (opportunity cost = 100mil-800mil wasted... probably a few 99s as well) But now there's a level of armor above this?! Is Jagex INSANE?! Now... adjusting the ticket rate + compensation to historical victories/losses would cut these massive numbers down to something very reasonable. Players would average 60 tickets per 20 matches, instead of 20 tickets per 20 matches. It cuts dedication time and opportunity cost to 1/3.
  21. Ticket reward rate should be doubled now that it's actually possible to lose tickets by spending them on bogus consumables (you practically always spend more than you make). like 4 for a win, 3 for a draw and 2 for a loss. The sheer ammount of time you have to dedicate to the game for good rewards is just ludicrous. I mean COMON over 1200 hours (50 days) of WINNING STREAK for the profound set?! My account only has a little over 100 days of gameplay and that accumulated over 7 freaking years. It would be so sweet for all the people who've played countless cwars games already, all your previous wins would be doubled, and all your countless losses would be compensated. That is assuming that the database keeps track of every account's minigame history, which I'm sure it does.
  22. Kind of funny how the recent update DOES make castle wars slightly broken
  23. Im confused as to why you have to spend tickets on ballista ammo seriously, 4 tickets for 3 games worth of ammo is a freaking rip off, instead of 2 tickets every 20min, its 2 tickets every freaking hour (if you're lucky enough to win, and even if you do win, the chances of your ballista turning the tide is pretty damn slim, thus wasted tickets). Not to mention that it forces the player to win at least 2/3 games just to break even, otherwise you're in for a loss. This is practically unheard of with castle wars tickets, they should be permanent rewards. The ammo purchase should have just been one-off thing that gave you the ability to pick up ammo within the supply room or something, not actual consumables. likewise with potion sets and the ballista itself.
  24. You know what he meant, lol
