  1. I've been focusing on this particular character recently. [hide=Facial Concept][/hide] [hide=Outfit Concept][/hide] Feedback please :) EDIT: fixed them up a little
  2. It can be a valid argument, depends on the context. Botting is obviously wrong if you have like 10 accounts up 24/7 grinding gps to RWT.
  3. No offense OP, but *facepalm*
  4. Greetings, nm happening on my end. I Hope you enjoy yourself. Is this thread supposed to be in War Rankings?
  5. Where Daylight Falls --by Visions of Atlantis  Maxi is amazing
  6. ...f2p having to access to a massive void of p2p area for a single alter nowhere near a bank, it would probably take even longer than crafting chaos runes without a shortcut. Also, something tells me Jagex isn't going to screw up the current (balanced) location of the nature alter for the sake of f2p. It isn't practical.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWw5YdW57Es&feature=feedlik can't breathe XD
  8. Law runs is fair enough, especially since it provides f2p with something that has higher raw exp than fire runes. Chaos runes are an absolute pain in the ass to craft without any shortcuts, so giving f2p the ability to craft them probably won't change anything. Natures should stay members only, it just wouldn't make much sense otherwise.
  9. This thread isn't about wikipedia, we should boith just shut up now, this is mostly a subjective issue.
  10. Older academics often have stale opinions on the issue, they don't fully understand what they're talking about.
  11. Yes, but it's also quality-checked by everyone as well, perhaps not as quickly as say wikipedia, but still. You trust wikipedia? Like I said, Irrational disdain, people don't realise just how many eyes are checking over the articles at any given time. There's no problem using wikipedia, just don't directly use it as a source, use it as a gateway. The off-topic burns
  12. Who would even use RS wiki for guides anyway? I only ever use it to quickly (single google search) look up solid facts like level requirements or to compare equipment.
  13. I don't bother with pvp, there's plenty more efficient ways to make gps through pvm and/or skilling. It doesn't help that the RS combat system is pretty shot compared to other mmos. At least it isn't as stale as most mmos though.
  14. The widespread disdain for wikis is rather irrational tbh. A few breif instances of misinformation doesn't prove that a whole site cannot be trusted. By no means should a wiki be a person's only source of information, but they are an excellent starting point... Oh, this is getting rather off-topic :P
  15. Cacmypants replied to Poopingman's topic in Rants
I'm neither for or against bots. Most people can understand the reality of this game, it's probably THE grindy-est mmo in existence (in terms of time spent leveling to max, though maple story isn't far behind). Botting is a logical decision, it allows you to progress in-game without wasteing away your life. Although at the same time you kinda relinquish your bragging rights.
  16. I wouldn't say 'anti-American', you can't directly blame the American people as a whole for this. Also, I don't think anyone is patriotic enough to back these disgustingly evil actions. If they are.. I have zero respect for them.
  17. Because the government is full of paranoid control-freaks? Idk, it's pretty stupid.
  18. This stuff shouldn't be happening at all regardless of context. The 'everyone does it, therefore it is OK' argument/assumption is a little bogus.
  19. Yes, but it's also quality-checked by everyone as well, perhaps not as quickly as say wikipedia, but still.
  20. Looks like the first wave of [cabbage] has officially hit the fan.
  21. Ah, yeah that explains it.
  22. If you finish the quest 'Love Story' it reduces the cost of butlers by about 25% (7,500 instead of 10,000 per 8 inventories). OK, so assuming each inventory you provide the demon butler contains 24 items: 7500/8 = 937.5 gp/inventory 937.5/24 = 39.0625 gp/item Then you also have to factor in sawmill costs if you're running logs instead of planks.
  23. This is probably why Jagex is holding back with instances, it would be pretty easy to bot in places like fight caves even though it isn't very efficient.
  24. You could rip yourself off by using the pay by phone option like I do, then it gives you the date your membership expires.
  25. That's very similar to the brine sabre special attack. It can be used above water right?
