  1. Lol for some reason the suit which you just listed is very popular among level 80+s, add a dragon med helm and you've got a combat 80 suit =D. tis true why do people wear stupid armour :( dont forgot there using a rune 2 hand over there dragon becuase of its higher stats on there ddp or d spear and wont wear that stupid barrows armour because of its degrading :wall: I have never heard of someone using a rune 2h over a ddp. Never. Barrows provides one of the greatest defense bonuses. The degrading is worth it >.> but there's a whole new topic on that.
  2. Remember all the "little things" you used to do to make money like raise kittens to cats for deaths or collect herb drops from other players? I spend too much on barrage runes and I'm trying to make it back - but with my current slayer task, Hellhounds, there's not really much to earn unless I get good clue drops. So which would I earn more little money off? Using a Macaw to forage herbs, or raising a kitten?
  3. ^ agree. The stats compared to other armor is terrible, but it's mainly for looks. Like dfh.
  4. Also look on the RSOF, there are people who buy 3-4m fire runes (for furies I guess?)
  5. Unfortunately, you can't profit by Runecrafting (unless you mine your own ess) at this level, cooking unless you produce your own raw materials, or crafting, even if you camp cows and tan your cowhides. It looks like you can make some money back by fishing raw lobsters/tunas/swordfish, cutting yews, or mining iron ores.
  6. Is that actually REAL? :ohnoes:
  7. So wierd you say that, I used the exact same seeds to get to 73. Just keep going.

Extra xp on boss monsters/higher level monsters? I know randoms yield less xp, but how come some yield more? .><
  9. Start with allotments/hops. Use all available patches. http://tip.it/runescape/img2/farming_patch_map.png My advice: Plant things some 5-6 levels UNDER your level to minimize death (if you decide not to pay attention). It's not worth it paying a farmer for these things, only pretty much for trees/fruit trees. Also, when you get the required levels, do as many quests for farming xp (or quests with experience lamps) to maximize experience yields.
  10. Dwarven stout temporarily increases mining/smithing at the cost of attack/str/def levels. Of course, you can always camp iron ores. At your level, it's the fastest xp.
  11. You can cut them yourself, collect spawns, smith, or skill. We'd need more info on your stats and your fav skills before I can help further.
  12. Maples at Fist of Guthix
  13. Actually, you can string faster than you cut, so stringing them is better experience, and better profits.
  14. From 80-99 fletching, it took me around 140 hours of making yew longbows. With today's economy, you may be able to profit (as the max limit was raised for many alching items). I'm not too sure if they sell as easily as they used to ... just try w132 Yanille if GE doesn't work (which I doubt). You actually may want to consider "buying" your way to 65 herblore and farming for that new grandmaster quest, which has very hefty rewards. For this all you'd need are some fruit trees and plenty of herbs. Instead if you plan to make some money back, you can add herbs to your patches and produce your own secondary materials (or those herbs themselves) for herblore. Though I can't say a time, I advise you to increase your crafting level too. From the low seventies to 76, I spend a couple days (maybe 5-6 hours a day, haha) leveling it. Today's economy has no longer any benefits, but alas, you can also train your rune-crafting via natures and alchemize your bracelets, giving you xp in three skills!

I've noticed I made many posts since I turned p2p again, but forget it, this deserves a topic. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_guide.htm I read the guide a couple of times since I started RS, and it was pretty useful to me. When I camped a monster, I usually just counted the time I was there and assumed how many I could kill in that time, and it gave me the approximate experience I would yield. However, A long, long time ago (maybe sometime during the summer, before the olympics), I was ranging red dragons to make up for a loss in the Chaos Tunnels, and I noticed while I was eyeing my xp, I wasn't getting 4xp a hit, it was actually more. I just thought it was range, and then passed it off. Now today, I'm doing a steel dragon task, and once again I'm eyeballing my xp. I was at an odd number thanks to controlled mode last time, and the numbers are jumping between odd and even. I noticed one of my hits - 15 - yielded 63 xp instead of the 60. Any ideas why?
  16. Alright, thanks :D EDIT: Wait, how about dragon gaunts from FOG?
  17. I never get what stacks with what ... but if I'm on a slayer assignment, will the helm stack with pots and prayer?
  18. After I do the GrandMaster Quest, I wouldn't know what to wear ... quest cape or mage cape lol >.>
  19. [hide=] Yes MEP2 is a good one. Use a BoB and pray melee in the temple. Will help a lot. For the reward alone it's definitely worth it, and it is a very enjoyable quest, so yes! I personally enjoy quests, and so for me it would be a yes. You get access to monsters that are currently dropping items worth 13M, so why not? ;) [/hide] Alright, that's just 4 of 5 req's left then :D
  20. To everyone who has done the quest: Is it worth doing Mourning's End Part 2? I mean time/effort-wise.
  21. Most of the time, I spend more than I make because of clues mentioned like above. Only about 1 of ten are actually rewarding.
  22. YOu can't repair it, corrupted armor is pretty much a f2p sample of the real armor.
