  1. Because i'm F2P i look with other eyes at the same and notice different things: 0.24 Uknown bow, its not the gravite bow. Plus silverish trimmed iron armor? 0.25 Very strange helmet + shoulderpads + iron version of Lumbridge trainingshield 0.25 look in the background, revenant knight's helmet.
  2. I'm a pure F2P player, these are my small whises: A really outbalanced combat triangle: -better mage robes (gravite plated combat robes, new FoG rewards) -gravite arrows that hit slightly harder than addy arrows (gravite bow exclusive) -gravite studs than can be smithed/crafted on green dhide Some outdated membership 'bosses' than can be transferred to F2P: -red dragon + his island in wildy for solo players. -black demons for solo players -black dragon, not the King -any kind of grouping boss, our clan need new social events. My name is Greedy, but i hope i'm not asking too much!
  3. True, the druidic & combat robe top do 2% melee and 1% magic, bottom absorb 1% melee. It's trivial info, nothing more.
  4. Since when is this tower on Deamonheim island? Never seen it before. Sort of liftshaft to down below?
  5. O yes they bring more money in the game. They are the engine for merchanting, junktrading, etc. They are the reason why merchant clans exists. In F2P, you don't need more money than about 10 mill. You buy some gems and gold and you can craft your levels for breakeven cash. Buy some raw tuna or lobsters and you won't lose much with 99 cooking. Mining and smithing bars is a good money source. Make adamant or runite bars, sell them, buy steel bars back. Only above level 70 prayer is loads of cash needed.
  6. The zombie invasion in clan wars free-for-all was indeed a sort of test. That community event was a small succes. I think that was a popularity test for a sort of extra large Pest Control-minigame. I think a clan versus zombie army could be a nice update for clan wars and castle wars.
  7. He is indeed hitting 200 at minute 3.03. In that case the wizard mindbomb doesn't give 9% extra, but 10%! 160 * (1 + 0.10 + 0.05 + 0.10) = 160 * 1.25 = 200 If that's true, the theoretical maximum hit with blastbox included is 250. Never trust that barkeeper in falador!
  8. I posted already my finds about magic max hits in this topic months ago. Probably it is faded away in the minds. :-| This is the way how i calculated: Max magic hit with blast necklace + grav staff: 160 + 10% + 5% = 160 * (1 + 0.10 + 0.05) = 184 Max magic hit with blast necklace + grav staff + mindbomb = 160 + 10% + 5% + 9% = 160 * (1 + 0.10 + 0.05 + 0.09) = 198.4 Max magic hit with blast necklace + grav staff + blastbox: (160 + 10% + 5%) + 25% = (160 * (1 + 0.10 + 0.05)) * 1.25 = 230 Max magic hit with blast necklace + grav staff + blastbox + mindbomb: 160 + 10% + 5% + 9% + 25% = (160 * (1 + 0.10 + 0.05 + 0.09)) * 1.25 = (160 * 1.24) * 1.25 = 248 Some pictures i posted here earlier Look at the extra hits from the blastbox: When your main hit is 167, the extra hit is ALWAYS approx 25% of the main hit! Result: 167 + 25% = 167 + 41.75 When your main hit is 181, the extra hit is: 181 + 25% = 181 + 45.25 For dummies: when you hit 100, the extra hit will be 25.
  9. It was Evil Dave from his basement. Nice courtcase
  10. That mercenary leader is pretty heavy! In teams of mixed combat, the lower ones can better wait till the higher leveled cleared the room. Good defence and armor is needed. Players who prefer their pures-configuration will be striken heavily.
  11. Indeed, i don't take it too serious. I'm just a bit poking them there in Cambridge.
  12. How misleading can it be? Different stats and different arrows!! :shame: The dungeoneering reward page in the knowledgement base: The ranged skill page of the knowledgement base: I did my F2P duty. Look what i typed extra below.
  13. Wha ha ha ha ha! That graphic is humor. How many merchanter lemmings died there?
  14. yes the problem with the chaos runes and bolt spell in the blastbox is now solved. Time to test and analyze the blastbox and all other dungeoneering magic items! There was a specific topic for the blastbox but faded away and i think most membership players are not really interested in obscure F2P items. So i post it here for all F2P sympathists. The blastbox is for sure one of the most odd in game items. It found more little secrets than the RS manual told us. The box adds an extra tiny blast next to the normal blast splash. This means the new magic max hit is a calculation instead of one huge hit. Call it the first spacial attack on F2P if you like it. The blast necklace and gravite staff boosts up the fire blast up to 186, the blastbox can max hit 50. The extra blast is not +25% extra damage added up but just a separated calculated spell. The new max hit is theoretically 186 + 50 but these two max splashes will never happen simultaneously in game. The blastbox works on monsters and players, but is most effective on monsters. The box discounts on required runes for each spell: For fire blast spell: 1x death, 3x air and 5x fire runes, that's 1 less air each casted spell. For fire bolt spell: 2x air rune instead of 3x, that's 1 less air each casted spell. Okay, is it really worth the 40K tokens? Nah, the box is not really essential to be one of the best battle-mages. 1st choice is the combo of blast necklace and gravite staff, 2nd Tome of Frost and 3rd the blastbox. The gravite staff looks to most players plain ugly. They taunt at me it a rake, backscratcher and fryfork. But has still the cool-factor when wielded at Grand Exchange, because very few players own the staff on free world. The Tome of frost can be very usefull at water and air runecrafting (teleport to Falador for banking and teletab back to altar). The blastbox gains you more xp each cast and surprises many players in Clan Wars and Duel Arena. Some picture proofs:
  15. how do you know? i thought he may of got p2p and changed his name, then changed it back when p2p ran out, but he has no previous name changes :S I did a dungeoneering trip with him last saturday. He is certainly not banned.
  16. Base damage: 160 +15% from staff + neck: 184 +9% from mind bomb: 200.56 +25% (bonus hit): 200.56 + 50.14 So, erm, ko power? The catalytic staff gives inside dungeoneer floors 15%, the gravite staff gives 5% extra damage outside dungeoneer. But still pretty hefty in 1 vs 1 fights.
  17. Is it 25% over 160 or over 184 if you have gravite staff + blast neck? 184 x 1.25 = 230 max damage I can't wait to test this. The box also works for bolt spells (see dungeoneer manual) and maybe crumble undead. More tests needed.
  18. I want it for F2P clan wars. I got already a blast neckace and gravite staff, with this box added i could blast like the deathstar. 160 x 0.10 = 16 160 x 0.05 = 8 160 x 0.25 = 40 --------------------------- 160 + 16 + 8 + 40 = 224
  19. You don't see the reasons? -I was the one with the tools and the stats to solve all skill related puzzles -I was the one who killed all hard cb 100+ monsters -I had floor prestige of F35 -Yes, that fountain with lava or something. I can clear away the rocks, but not fix the pillars (construction). Another roadblock for F2P, means increased chance for more unopened rooms, means average chance for 'perfect cleared' floors decreases. Concluded: that players with combat 91 and medium stats was full hanging (i will not say parasiting, because he did his best) on my shoulders (stats). I deserve that extra bonus of +3k on those floors!
  20. The player i was playing dungeoneer floor 32 with was combat level 91. And he earned 3k more than me (combat 116), while is was MVP. On floor 31 this happened the same. That's 6k more than me, how unfair is that. And we got stuck on a new dungeoneer puzzle with some lava in four channels, again a puzzle we F2P can't solve! I was so angry about this unfairness that i shut off Runescape to cool down.

From what it sounded like, they were updating all demons, nut just the Kal'Gerion ones. I guess Jagex loves dragons, because the dragons get again (3rd time?) a revamp.
  22. Jup, friends who won't come online anymore... 70% of my friend list is permanantly red colored. :-(. Most of them stopped playing after the wildernis changed and GE came into the game. My 'where are tho?' question worked! The Stu0 did came online. <3:

This one is in his cosy livingroom. It does remember me about something... :-P

I don't know exactly where to drop it. Well, look at that ice-demon-thing. It got furry legs like an Yeti and the unmistakenly wings on the back of a demon. This monster is familiar to To'Kash the Bloodchiller from dungeoneering, but he's not exactly 1 on 1. The ramhorns are missing. Let's call it the 'Lesser Bloodchiller' who is painted here in it's natural icy habitat. I guess there will be soon a new icedungeon or updated dungeon. Why else they made a wallpaper with a non-excisting monster?
  25. It is for one time extra work, adding the 50 more names. Form that moment, the amount of players who join in and fall out will stay pretty much the same as in previous years. Imo aiming for 200M smithing xp in F2P is more work.
