Had a good day today. I decided to attempt whittling with a kitchen knife. As you can imagine, that didn't work out to well. So my dad took me all over the place trying to find a place that sells a decent, small pocket knife. First we went to Wal-Mart and they only had bigass hunting knives. Sears was closed, and Home Depot didn't have the kind I was looking for. Eventually we left, and my dad found his (very) old pocket knife, gave it to me, and showed me how to take care of it. It's very nice. I don't have anything to take a picture of it, but the handle is made of wood and what looks like brass. The blade is about two inches long and looks like it's been sharpened many, many times. It looks awesome and definitely works better than a kitchen knife. It's probably the best gift I've received in a while.
