Not too long ago my desktop went for bust. I believe the problem was the CPU but I am hoping you can confirm. I'm planning on buying a new one tonight and I just want to check and be sure. I was doing my casual browsing when everything started going everything started going extremely slow. The mouse would take forever to move across the screen, I couldn't do anything. I did what anyone would do and tried to reboot my computer. When ti went to start up, there was no "beep" and it only got past the BIOS on occasion. When it did get past the BIOS. It would come up with some kind of disk error. How it could not read a disk or something along those lines. (Plain white text on a black screen). I know ti is not my hard drives, because I tested them all in my friends desktop and they worked fine. The RAM is also good. I could not exactly "test" the PSU and motherboard, but I assume since it does get into the BIOS that those must be fine. I just want to make sure I am correct in my thoughts that it is the CPU, and if not what else it might be. Thanks!

On the topic of how you "process" marijunana, It isn't a matter of going to the plant and cutting a nugg off and hitting a bong. Once the plant has matured to the harvest time, my friend always cut the plant at the stem and hung it up to dry in a shed( I can't remember if he takes the leaves off or not or whats up with that). After it has dried he takes it down and trims it down to the individual buds and then packages it from there. IT'S THE SAME WITH TOBACCO. I think Marijuana and Shrooms should be legal as they are no worse than booze/stogies. As aforementioned, no one dies from bud, and a lot of people die from booze.

Alright So I have a dual boot setup on my main computer. Im running Vista Basic with Ubuntu 9.10. Vista is partitioned on the main HDD (250gb) and around 60gb of the 2nd HDD. Ubuntu claims around 20gb of memory on the 2nd HDD. How do I remove ubuntu WITHOUT reinstalling vista and revert back to the standard vista bootloader. --On a side note-- Ive tried to just delete the ubuntu partition and when I boot up afterwards I get the error: boot0:testing boot0:failed To try and fix this I put in my vista disk tried to repair it via the repair center and ran bootrec[Caution: Executable File] /fixmbr and bootrec[Caution: Executable File] /fixboot in the CMD to no avail.

I have a 360 at my Moms, PS3 at my dads. A good enough computer to handle anything reasonable in Steam. iPod and a truck guaranteed to me already. This is part of the reason why I have NO idea what to get.

So My birthday is in a week and a half (March 31st). I am getting around $500 from all my family members. I have NO idea what to get so help me out on ideas that a 15 y/o guy would want. Also discuss what you want/ are getting for your birthday.

What really erks me is that some news outlets are spinning it to the sense that he couldn't get out, and he hated his job, and his life sucked in the military. Even if this was true, he could have easily gotten out because, if I remember correctly, the longest required term after signing is 6 yrs, and to get Major, you have to serve for a looonnnggg looonnnggg time.

What really bugs me is that the deadline for the NPP was 2 weeks after he was elected. He didn't do [cabbage] in those first 2 weeks, and they basically nominated him off what he *MIGHT* do in the future.

For starters, it is my amendment right to be able to talk about him critically. Now, I will talk less critically of him when he fulfills all he has promised. Right now everything is just one big promise and we are hoping he actually fixes this. Right now, providing us with hope wont go very far, because people will be pissed when he doesn't deliver.

I've already got permission from my parents to just skip school that day. I've got my friends skipping with me. It's a waste of a school day. I can learn more with friends messing around on the computer then listening to him tell me what I am already doing in school. It's not right that he can dictate a lesson plan for it and almost require schools to play it. Instead of my class mates and I talking about how wonderful Obama is (It will come up because someone will start it, guaranteed,) I can be studying Alg. 2, or German. Talking about how great he is has 0 educational value, reading about Early African Life in history has at least some value. I'm pretty sure it is required, if you attend school that day, to watch his address and do the lesson plan. We're protesting by not going. I know many other people who think the same at my school are following along. I wonder what the school will do when they realize 100+ students are absent that day.

The argument about weed not being as bad as ciggs is flawed because some people smoke a pack of ciggs a day while I doubt anyone will smoke 20 joints in a day. I can guarantee if someone smoked the same number of joints and ciggs a day, the health effects associated with each would be different.

I can't hug my mom when I am off in the town by myself, or with friends. There are other ways to release stress, but smoking is one of the best ways for me. I don't get stressed to that extreme often, that's why it is 2 a month.

I know I am going to get flamed to hell for this, but I occasionally smoke when I am extremely stressed, I'm 14, and have since I turned 13, maybe 1-2 a month. It has a purpose to me because it helps me mentally chill, and I know 2 a month wont be nearly as bad as the 1/2 a pack a day stuff.

Yeah, I just noticed that, which is a problem.. :(

Alright, so I am going to be Fletching to 99. I was thinking, what would be faster? Making 162k Yew Longbows (u) and just selling them, or making 81k Yew long bows (u), stringing them, then selling them? Please tell me. Also, what other ways are there to fletch fast, without loosing money.

I would ask for an unlimited supply of water, McDonald large vanilla milkshakes and 24oz monster. I plan on dieing from eating too much... (:

I don't get in real trouble anymore because my mom doesn't punish me anymore because she thinks since I am 14, I will either learn myself or face the music. These are just a few... Me and some friends got bored and did homeade tatoo's a few months ago... When she found out, she was pissed but my step-dad Kevin laughed.. and made her shrug it off. I got REALLY. REALLY mad and punched a hole straight through the drywall in my wall in my room. I was compleatly freaking out after I realised what I had done. I decided to just own upto it, and because I was honest and told my mom right away, she just fized it a while later. I was caught by my moms friend from work (she is a cop) drinking beer with some friends. She took the beer and just drove me home to my mom, who gave a long talk, not about NOT drinking but how if I am going to I should not get caught by the cops... I was astonished by what she said and asked her why she was like that, she just said that she was a teen once too. I was caught sneeking out once. I was not caught until about 1/2 an hour after being home... She knew I had snuck out, but came in and asked me anyways. I tried to lie and said no... but the hickie on my neck couldn't hide it. She just yelled and said next time, I should ask. I lied to my mom and told her I was going to ride my bike to my friend, Matt, who lives around 5 miles away. I was actully going to see my girl Emma around 8 miles away. I forgot that my Step-Dad Kevin comes home on that EXACTY same rode at the time I was coming to her house. He didn't tell my mom and told me to just tell him, and we won't tell her. That is just to start.... -_-

I would own a slave, but I wouldn't treat it like [cabbage]. It would do all the work I didn't want to, but it would get fed properly, eat with me/family, have its own room, and get more than rags for clothes. Then once I became rich, I would have a "slave house" where it has many rooms, with many slaves (still good standards of living) and I would be nice to them, no whips or bulling, as long as they did as they are told.

Well, It moves around he country every year, this year it is in Denver. My main area is the bridge building which I took 1st at state. I built a bridge out of (up to, I am not sure how much I really used) 16 ft of 1/8" balsa wood that makes a 12" (14 if you include the abutments). Mine held 84 pounds, and weight 10 oz. Technically, the guy should have never removed it from the pressure machine because the bridge never broke, just a piece of glue came loose, and the testing is done when a piece breaks. I am also making a Co2 car, speech, Problem solving, Challenging tech issues, and a few others I cant think of right now.

That's what my friend's dad thought too. My dumb adviser is being... dumb. Is anyone going? :-#
