Verify needed: Apparently you can tone down the options from the default setting to make them run on a slightly worse computer? You can change it so the texture is lower quality and that yeah, I know on my laptop it set them all the lowest by default and said it wouldn't run right if it was higher.

Pure ess are around 130 gp each, buying them with tokens from GoP is a good way to make money. With 1k tokens you've got 130k gp. I personally buy law tabs, buy/mine my own ess then craft to make a good profit. (Abyss crafting with no armour is a nightmare for me) :

I have 70 attack, 69 defence and 67 strength. I'll have 70 defence and I really don't know much about armour at that level. Disregarding money for the moment, which would be the best general melee armour for me to get? I know there's barrows and stuff but I don't know which of them people would use in day-to-day PvM combat? Halp guys?

It was about Soul Wars clans and game fixing and stuff. [hide=Here if you really want to read it =/]Soul Wars, one of the most recent RuneScape minigames, has been labelled a success by many and played by even more. At the beginning, to be successful at Soul Wars you needed to have skill. You had to fight your way through the enemies to the opponent's avatar, or stand back, guarding your graveyard or avatar with your very life. Soul Wars was all based on tactics. For the best chance of winning you needed to assemble your team mates and take the opponent's graveyard, most of the time the Obelisk would follow and victory was almost assured. But now, it seems as though the only thing you need to do is to go to the right team and get in the game to win. On most dedicated Soul Wars worlds, you'll find auto-talkers shouting the names of clan chats in flashing and waving letters, promising three zeal each time. You'll find one of the team areas packed to the rafters whilst the other has barely 5 players waiting to get in to the ongoing battle. More often than not, the team that these clan chats choose to 'call' as the winner, will be the winning team. Players don't have to make the choice of where to defend or which of the opponent's assets to attack to secure their victory, the choice they have to make now is to go into that over-populated team and hope they out of the hundred players there will get in to the battle for the three zeal, or to go to the losing team and scrape that one zeal. I personally think this detracts from what the game is supposed to be; the strategy of working with your team and fighting for victory has become far less important than the strategy of getting in the right team. With the new release of an inactivity bar by Jagex, preventing people from standing there and doing nothing (a problem that is seen across other minigames as well as Soul Wars), will this lead to a decrease in the use of clan chats that attempt to control the outcomes of Soul Wars games? Perhaps when people see that they can't simply stand outside their team's base and chat with their friends, knowing that they will win because they got in the right team, they will become more willing to fight. Though this is hard to see at the moment, the number of clan chats advertising for three zeal games seems to be always on the increase. I got a ram upgrade to 2gb a few weeks ago actually (I had 502mb... WTF was I doing??) Just go down to your nearest computer repair store or place, somewhere like PC world would rip you off so somewhere more local is probably better. I just paid about £26 for my memory, he installed it and everything.

I do enjoy the story lines a lot, but I'm not a quester so I'll generally do the quests that have a reward I need or want, that doesn't mean I don't like the story lines. If it's a boring quest I'll likely put it off even longer.

First day back at college, not too bad really. We started A2 work in Sociology and the first module is beliefs in society and what shocked me is that Sir had Scientology on the board. Well this made me all excited, coming from the internet and everything, and I was the only one in the class that knew what Scientology was about. I think everyone thinks I'm a Scientologist now. I don't think we'll be traveling in space, but I think it'll be centred all on one planet, with varying 'small' areas that aren't attached to the planet, but aren't attach to any other planet either.
