  1. Did 5 puzzles, one side counter says 50, one side counter sparking and "stuck", and opened door with flattened bar. But red button is still inactive. Help plz. Disregard. Figured it out thx.
  2. It appears that the weekly counter for entry tickets resets at midnight (GMT) on Wednesday. Talking to the Fisherman's wife outside the Fisherman's Guild will tell you how many minutes until the next game begins.
  3. You don't need to press tip me at a calculator, you only need it at planners (just click at the get stats button) Same problem in farming calculator for me. Screen shot below...
  4. The farming xp calculator has been down for some time now. Clicking on the "Tip Me" button just kicks me to the front home page. Thx. [Crew: This is fixed now. ;)]
  5. I get a kick out of answering this question (had a couple call me a liar. haha).... Started playing RS in April of 2008; So just 9 1/2 months to date. :D
  6. With the latest Jagex updates, I guess I found the next best thing - State designation of some of the US servers. Now I can login to the State server and have a better chance of running across "neighbors" who also play RS. =D>
  7. With no intent of violating rules regarding any personal information such as addresses or the like, I am looking for a clan or group primarily based in the US Pacific Northwest "neighborhood" (Washington, Idaho, and Oregon). Prefer a group general in nature (*not combat/pk-based), mature in content (*adult conversation), and aimed at sharing in the many areas and activities of the game (*comaraderie without lvl requirements). :)
  8. I would be much more impressed by one who has earned a Quest cape compared with one who has acquired a skill cape. It indicates to me that the wearer has exercised some brain power, has applied logic, has practiced many of the game's skill catagories, and has likely learned a great deal of the workings and environment of the game. I know a number of 99-cape wearers who couldn't find a specific location or NPC on the world map if you gave them a compass or haven't a clue of how to make their own replacement of a games necklace. I have seen many instances where one's "skill" cape was nothing more than a virtual "money-cape". I don't accept that a 99-cape displays any "mastery" of the skill; it takes no more skill to go from lvl 95 to 96 than it does to go from lvl 10 to 11, just more time. Questing requires one to earn abilities within the game and to learn locations and procedures to complete the necessary steps of the quests. One won't earn a quest cape merely by doing the same mouse clicks day-in-and-day-out, or by spending their time chatting with or impressing their "friends".
  9. No rumor. It all happened just that way. At completion of the Swept Away quest and the Trick-or-Treating on the first day I went to my house's costume room and placed the new outfit into the Toy Box. I then saw the 2007 Grim Reaper Hood there in the box. I was not in RS last year so could not have acquired it anywhere prior. I took the hood out and wore it for the rest of the day. This afternoon after logging in, I went on a slayer assignment and took off the hood and kept it in my pack. When I finished the assignment, I clicked on the hood to wear it again but it just disappeared. My son's mom did the events and checked her house's Toy Box on the first day after I told her of the appearance of the Grim Reaper Hood. She also was not in RS last year. The hood had also appeared in her box and she just left it there. Today when I told her what had happened to mine she went to her house and rechecked the box - her's was also gone. My son did the events on the first day with his mom also, but did not go check his Toy Box until today. The hood was not there at all for him. (Man, did he scream "unfair"!) Oh well, it was fun wearing it while it lasted. lol
  10. So apparently this was a glitch on the part of Jagex! As soon as I took the hood off today, they took it back. :( It just disappeared from my pack. Also, my son waited until today to check his house's Toy Box and it wasn't there for him at all. Ah shucks.
  11. Apparently, an NPC can be trick-or-treated multiple times, but not twice in a row. Also of note is that if you have a House (construction skill) with a Costume Room that has a Toy Box, then last year's halloween event Grim Reaper Hood will magically appear there after completing the Swept Away quest.
