in the Special Calcs>Smithing Planner it says at the botom of it "This tool will not be expanded to other metals as they are not viable for mass smithing."

I thought I should point out that addy platebodys are viable for mass smithing as they are cheaper than steel bars(platebodys) only slightly more expensive than gold bars(gauntlets) and are very fast xp.

below is a detailed explanation of the cost of each type of bar.

asuming you buy the gold ore and sell the gold bars once you make them

gold bars xp(with gauntlets): 56.2

gold ore cost: 495 gp

gold bar cost: 180

495 - 180 = 315

315 / 56.2 = 5.04 gp per xp

asuming you buy the steel bars, nats, and alch the platebodys

steel bars xp x 5(platebody): 187.5

steel bars cost: 643 x 5 = 3215

nature rune cost: 232

steel platebody high alch value: 1200

3215 + 232 = 3447

3447 - 1200 = 2247

2247 / 187.5 = 11.984 gp per xp

asuming you buy the addy bars and sell the platebodys

addy bar xp x 5(platebody): 312.5

addy bar cost: 2283 x 5 = 11415

addy platebody cost: 9793

11415 - 9793 = 1622

1622 / 312.5 = 5.1904 gp per xp

asuming you buy the nature runes and buy the ores(then make bars) and alch the platebodys

addy bar xp x 5(platebody): 312.5

addy ore cost: 1021

coal cost: 177 x 6 = 1062

addy ore + coal cost x 5(platebody): 10415

nature rune cost: 232

addy platebody high alch value: 9984

10415 + 232 = 10647

10647 - 9984 = 663

663 / 312.5 = 2.1216 gp per xp

I'm not sure if you want to add them in or not, I just thought I would point it out sence I just finished 99 smithing doing addy platebodys.

I'm really having difficulty understanding the smithing calc here.

When I switch to the actual smithing portion of the calc, it doesn't bring up the items (sword, axe, etc) or their xp. Is this intentional or is this something that needs to be fixed?

Not an error, just a different approach to the calculation.

The reason it doesn't bring up the items is because the calculator details how much XP you get per bar of that particular material "smithed" instead of per item. For instance, if you smith a platebody (using 5 bars) it will be five times the amount of XP for that particular metal type.

So the calculator is used more to calculate target number of bars for a certain level rather than target number of specific items.

On the fighting calculator there is no option for lvl 25 experiments. I understand that I can just put 100 in the hitpoints box. I feel these are just as common as rock crabs and bandits to train on and would be greatly appreciated if you added experiments.

Also include the Brine Sabre in the max hit calculator because it has 46 strength bonus compared to the 44 the rune scimitar has.

I just noticed a couple things when I was playing around with a morphic hammer the other day that might want to be looked at in the skill calculators.

On the crafting calculator there is a section for morphic needle. Studded body is listed under this for 80 experience, and since it is the process of applying the studs to the leather body with a hammer that is normally half that, I assume that is what it means, but when I have tried to do this with my morphic hammer I only get the normal 40 experience.

On the construction calculator there is no section at all for morphic hammer, but when I used it with oak planks at my workbench, I got double experience for it.

[speedyshel edit: The morphic and volatile hammer options have been added to the construction calculator and the construction planner. We will look into the crafting calculator. Thank you very much for the correction.]

tools > specials calcs > high alchemy calc > armour

black kiteshield high alchs for 1272 and not 979.

it also low alchs for 848 and not 653.

you got these correct values in your item database section.

i think there should also be a 'submit correction' link for that high alchemy calculator page.

[speedyshel edit: Thanks for the correction. This has been fixed.]

For the Farming Calculator/Planner (and I'm sure there's others that can benefit from similar additions), could fields be added for combined Plant/Check/Pick XP of a plant for those with a fixed number of pickable items? This would assume you plant an item, check it's health (if you can), and pick any fruits from it (4 from bushes, 6 from fruit trees). I have the values calculated already, so it'd just be a matter of adding them.

Item - Level - XP

Bushes (Plant + Check + Pick x4)

Plant/Check/Pick Redberries - 10 - 88.5

Plant/Check/Pick Cadavaberries - 22 - 148.5

Plant/Check/Pick Dwellberries - 36 - 256.6

Plant/Check/Pick Jangerberries - 48 - 411

Plant/Check/Pick Whiteberries - 59 - 631

Plant/Check/Pick Poison Ivy - 70 - 974

Flowers (Plant + Pick*)

Plant/Pick Marigold - 2 - 55.5

Plant/Pick Rosemary - 11 - 79

Plant/Pick Nasturtium - 24 - 131

Plant/Pick Woad - 25 - 136

Plant/Pick Limpwurt - 26 - 141

Fruit Trees (Plant + Check + Pick x6)

Plant/Check/Pick Apple Tree - 27 - 1272

Plant/Check/Pick Banana Tree - 33 - 1841.5

Plant/Check/Pick Orange Tree - 39 - 2586

Plant/Check/Pick Curry Leaf - 42 - 3037

Plant/Check/Pick Pineapple Tree - 51 - 4797.5

Plant/Check/Pick Papaya Tree - 57 - 6381

Plant/Check/Pick Palm Tree - 68 - 10460

Trees (Plant + Check)

Plant/Check Oak Tree - 15 - 485.5

Plant/Check Willow Tree - 30 - 1481.5

Plant/Check Maple Tree - 45 - 3448

Plant/Check Yew Tree - 60 - 7150.5

Plant/Check Magic Tree - 75 - 13914

*I'm aware you usually get 3 items from picking, but as far as I knew, you only get the XP once, so there isn't a multiplication included there like the others.

don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?

On the fletching xp calculator.

Under morphic/violatile tools

Willow longbow(U) says I would need 60k to reach 99. It should read that I would need 120k. The calculator seems to cut the number in half on this item only as it also says at same time I would need 60k magic longbow(U) to reach 99.

It would be nice to only need 60k and a lot cheaper but I know it is wrong.

[Crew edit: Thank you, this has been corrected on the calculator.]

Construction calculator needs a morphic/volotile tool option, like all the rest of the skills that they can be used in do. That hammer that you can morph the tools into is not just for smithing. It's also used for construction. Believe me, I've used it and I'm about to do it again.

[Crew edit: This option has been added. Thanks for the suggestion.]

Hello i was looking at the Construction Calculator and noticed that you have not added the sacred clay hammer to the tables. I've used the hammer for con and it does give 2X exp. Could you please add this. Thank you.

Forgot to change my Signature stupid video =/

Hello. I'm new here I just noticed a small mistake in one of your calcs...

Fletching planner/Calculater -> Morphic/Volitile tools

Willow long (u) has quantraple not double exp... it says u get ~166 exp but it should be 83 ... Since u get 41.5 exp with simple knife and 41.5 more exp for stringing.

Thank you.

[Crew edit: Fixed thanks!]

Summoning Calc:

Swamp Titan : 372.6 XP

I 've seen 373.6 on two other sites. Which is correct?

One site being a popular site and the other being an editable one. :/

[Crew edit: We list it as 373.6 in our summoning tables and in our summoning planner so I've fixed this. Thanks!]

On the herblore skill calculator, possibly the planner too, it says summoning potions give you 82 xp but they actually give 92 xp. Just thought i'd let you know as i'm using those to lvl up at the moment.

If you select Mage Training Area in the Magic calculator it says that level 6 enchant requires lvl 7 magic, whilst that should be 87 (?) <img src='http://forum.tip.it/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_upup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':<img src='http://forum.tip.it/ipbnew/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='^_^' />:' />
