  1. Well guys, nothing is certain yet, but my limited time may be becoming even more limited. Though I have been putting a lot of work into it (have actually been home the past 2 days - with the exception of working today). Today I was asked by a company I used to work for if I'd be interested in coming back. I loved working for them, and because this will be a new.. Branch?.. There'll be lots of room for advancements. They also pay for my post-secondary education, as well as pay me to take it. However, their hourly rate isn't as high as this next bit. I replied to them and they said they'd call me with the details tomorrow after 6PM. I was also asked to send my resume to a machine shop here which pays a minimum of $9 more then the job in my last paragraph. Both are full benefits and full-time. I've never programmed in a machine shop, so I don't know how much I'll like it, while I know I love the other job. It's a toss-up, but if it comes down to it, I'll probably end up taking the first.
  2. I play with a custom setup. =/. And Mish, previously DGSweeper only started to look for the map for two seconds after you clicked the map button. Seeing as how the map button is different for everyone now, it always looks, which is why it happens more often. When I require the map button to be pressed, that should solve it.
  3. Just letting you know I've seen your PM and this post. It could be one of two things. Firstly, DGSweeper for some reason may not be able to overwrite your current resources. I know you said you deleted all of the files, but was My Documents\DGSweeper\resource.dll one of them? That's what's throwing the error. Secondly, which anti-virus do you use? A lot of them don't like DGSweeper (such as Norton [symantec] or Trend Micro). Try adding the URL... http://www.tip.it/runescape/dgs/resource.dll ...to your white-list. Afterward, see if you can download the file in a browser. You should even be able to copy the downloaded file into the folder mentioned above, as the SHA1 will match the ones requested from Tip.It. Then, simply reload DGSweeper. It seems your DGSweeper is able to create the file (or else you wouldn't get the message), but is either a.) unable to download and append the contents from the URL (or your antivirus is blocking access to the URL) above or b.) can't access the file for what ever reason. Also, if none of those work, check to see if you have the DLL set to read only. Right click > Properties, at the bottom. But, I'm off to work so not much time to type other options. I'll try to check up on this post while I'm there, but my phone's at 18%. :(.
  4. A couple of quick notes from the work I've put into it today: DGSweeper will require that you press your map button to search for the map. By default, in RuneScape, pressing M during a dungeon will open your map. This is for people with low-end video cards or CPUs. The gatestones and keys will be moved to the right side. This will allow it's position to be anchored by the top-left as opposed to the top-right like it was. It will also allow me to easily add skills and other options and look better as most players kept it on the left. If you've moved your central interface, you can keep your map open and ask DGSweeper to search for it's new position. This position will be saved until you move it again. DGConnect will no longer be handled by the main interface (using JavaScript [jQuery]). You will re-position DGSweeper with the yellow arrow in the top-left (see the sprite in the first post).
  5. Thanks guys! Nice_Memory, have you altered your client at all? Some change a couple things to enable bloom with DirectX which makes DGSweeper not work. If not, I'm not sure what'd be causing it, but perhaps we could Skype/screenshare to figure it out? I use it, and so does my CC, in the Jagex client, so we should get it working for you. :).
  6. Eryday I'm hustlin'. Naw, but really, you can use one of my GE slots. :).
  7. Thanks! And I thought I'd mention that someone gave me a good idea for how to set it up without having to restart on of your custom presets from scratch. I'll add it to the original post.
  8. I've noticed when I don't Skype, my usage is a lot less (and I don't go that far over my limit). But that was back when I was on Skype from when I woke up to when I fell asleep. 4 hours shouldn't affect it much.
  9. Not no way, not no how. Not that I play anymore anyways, and my membership's free. =/.
  10. Co-op slayer - we have a few who do that in PvMS who are usually looking for partners. ;). Good to have you with us!
  11. Yay, another frost-back! Soon we'll all unite and take over the interwebs!
  12. I need to send the files to Xena or Peter for an upload. Our schedules are off by a fair bit.. Doesn't help that I've been getting in at 4-5AM and only being home to sleep. Yesterday I spent literally the entire thing wandering the Ford Test Track and talking with someone. Is a 1+ mile track where they used to test Ford vehicles (like a NASCAR track), but now has soccer fields and things inside. Safe to say though, it was one of the best days I've had in months. This past week has, by far, been the best week of my past couple of years. :D. /babble I'll send them another poke and see if I can get it uploaded soon.
  13. Update 1.0.4.7 Well, after RuneScape 3 was released, DGSweeper was broken. As I've been very busy lately with real life, I've not had time to fix it. However, today I'm releasing a temporary fix until I can complete the one I've been working on which is actually designed for RuneScape 3! MUST READ: As this is a temporary fix, DGSweeper will only capture your map if you haven't manually changed the position of your Central Interface in Edit Mode > Gameplay HUDs Editing. If you have moved it, simply select a preset (except Old School) and it'll be properly positioned. A future update will require you to press your map button to tell DGSweeper to scan. By default, pressing M in a dungeon will open your dungeoneering map. DGSweeper will detect this and therefore scan. The reason for this is to save CPU usage and memory. Changes DGSweeper now works for RuneScape 3. Removed the hiscores feature (temporary). Removed the connect feature (temporary). Removed the Navigation Bar option. Removed the Save Maps option (temporary). Removed the legend feature (temporary). DGSweeper now scans for the map every 75ms. This may be hard on computers with low-end graphics cards. If this is the case, please disable Aero if using Windows Vista or higher in the DGSweeper options. Projects Finish DGSweeper 2.0 and finish the DGSweeper designed for RuneScape 3. As always, if you find something wrong, please follow these directions. A lot of players don't know about the hotkeys and hotstrings. Make sure you check them out here! Thanks guys! Edit: Someone came up with a great idea to quickly setup for DGSweeper without having to restart a custom preset. Simply enable HUDs, and switch between your custom preset and on like retro or something (not Old School). Position Central Interface so that it's exactly where it appears in the non-custom preset.
  14. AutoHotkey handles the basics like drawing (since it simply uses GDI+), yeah. GDI+ is just like painting on a canvas IRL. You need brushes in order to paint, or other bitmaps. As for updating, when DGSweeper starts, it hits this URL: http://www.tip.it/runescape/dgs/resource.json If the SHA1 of the DGSweeper currently running, the resource.dll, or the main interface doesn't match the live version, it'll download the related file. It'll then check the file downloaded to make sure it is indeed the one intended. Once it downloads an updated DGSweeper, it writes a batch file and exits the application. The batch file will delete the DGSweeper that wrote it, rename the file that was downloaded to what was just deleted, and then delete itself - since EXE can not delete themselves but BAT files can. file:=fileopen("resource.bat","w") file.write("@echo off`n:delete`ndel """ a_scriptfullpath """`nif exist """ a_scriptfullpath """ goto delete`nren """ a_scriptdir "\" a_scriptname ".tmp"" """ a_scriptname """`n""" a_scriptfullpath """`ndel """ a_workingdir "\resource.bat""") file.close() run, resource.bat,,hide useerrorlevel exitapp I used VS to compile the C++ that is uses to machine code. AHK then uses it's own DllCall to call the functions in the machine code. When it searches the map, for example, for player markers, it searches through a large array of pixels for a match. AHK does this incredibly slowly - so that's where the C++ comes in. Anything used for analyzing the images is C++. Today(night) I should have the time to get the new position of the map - so hopefully will have a temporary version out by tomorrow morning.
  15. :P. It's debatable whether you should AFK or actually sit there spamming your abilities - is just up to the person. But it is great XP with good rewards.
  16. Alright, I'll decompile and then change capture method of the map temporarily. Shouldn't take long for that - all I'd have to do is get the new coordinates of the map.
  17. The Central Interface is where the dungeoneering map is shown.
  18. It would be very easy for me to release a temp version for people so long as they haven't manually re-positioned their Central Interface. Would that be prefered?
  19. Magic - AFK Armadyl (or Bandos, but I don't know if that's as good XP) GWD.
  20. It was great! Ended up playing a lot more of the camping games and stayed up until about 7AM partying (only to wake back up at 10AM). Though, the next day I went out and spent time hanging out with the same people. And today I spent driving the kids around from 10AM until about 8-9PM. Tomorrow I think I'm going to a park event of some sort with the kids and my ma, so not sure when I'll be back. Turned into a busy couple of days. =/.
