Well do what i did. Try and find someone selling shards. Buy shards with the whips. Go to Yanille and sell the shards (25gp each) to the lady at the petstore. This is my crash protection. works wonders for times like these :)

AGS has no use appart from Bandos God Warring and PvP Rushing or Pking. If you do not do any of those atleast 80% of the time you're on RS then an AGS is really not worth it. AGS isn't really even needed that greatly for Bos Hunting either. A SGS would do just fine for that. And since you say you enjoy Slaying, a SGS will offer you alot more than an AGS would. So like posters above have said, sell it (now or later, its won't make much of a difference since Bandos and SgS are both rising).

GS > whip/DFS. Infinity boots won't help as much as you'd think, the only give +5 mage defense, and dragon boots don't do anything to your mage defense, your better off with dragon. Trimmed Skillcape on tasks that you pray melee (or in other words, use proselyte), or use the Ardy cape 3 if you have it. Falador shield 3 is a bit of a waste imo, +8 attack bonuses > 1 prayer bonus, I personally use defender over both of them. Cannoning black demons while meleeing them is a great idea, if you use the gear I told you about earlier, and add on a cannon to that, the tasks will take half as much time as it would tanking them out. Yeah i always did my Black Demon tasks in Tav Dungeon. I would cannon tank them. Usually i could do a task of 150 in about half an hour. Its kind of a money waster but its probably my favorite task due to the emmense speed. I think once i get a Pony i can tank them without having to Protect Pray once. Also the other day i thik it was Djay who said something about only saving 1.2k an hour when using Skillcape (t) over Fire Cape. Once again there i think fire cape is wiser choice because it miht increase my killing speed.

When we go with me being Ranged based i wear Verac Skirt and Helm, Blessed Spirit Shield (or Obsidian Shield), Zammy D'hide, Dragon Boots, Accumulator, Amulet of Fury, Barrows Gloves, Rune Crossbow, Diamond (e) Bolts. My friend being Melee Based Wears Full Verac's with a ZGS. I also use an SGS For the specs. I believe those are the best cheap setups.

Me and my mate Duo EVERYDAY. We both melee, now and then i'll do Ranged. When we do Ranged we do get a much better result. We manage to stay for longer because we use much less supplies, but the kills take a lot longer. Since you are almost a decent Tank i would suggest you Range while he Melee's. You aren't going to do great because you and yourfriend's stats aren't exactly right for Duo's, bu you should be able to get a few kills per trip.

Accumulator Rune Crossbow Broad Bolts Ranger Boots Amulet of Ranging Unholy Book Archers Ring(i) For Ranging Tasks that requires me to Tank i'll be using the following: Verac Plateskirt Verac Helm Zamorak D'hide Ranger Boots Amulet of Fury DFS Barrows Gloves Archers Ring(i) Rune Crossbow Broad Bolts For Tasks that require a Magic Defense i'll be using the following: Zamorak Chaps Zamorak D'hide Slayer Helm Infinity Boots Amulet of Fury Barrows Gloves Fire Cape Berserker Ring(i) Abyssal Whip Blessed Spirit Shield **For Waterfiend and Aquanites i'll be using a Zamorakian Spear** Saradomin Godsword (This i'll only use for the Spec) Then lastly for Tasks that require me to use a Protection Prayer ill be using the following: Proselyte Legs Proselyte Body Dragon Boots Amulet of Fury Slayer Helm Fire Cape Berzerker Ring(i) Abyssal Whip DFS Barrows Gloves Saradomin Godsword (This i'll only use for the Spec) For each task i will be using a Bunyip (Unicorn if needed). I will also be Praying 10% Strength and i'll be using Super Attack and Super Strength Potions. I know the armour mentioned above is not the best money can buy, but at the moment its the best MY money can buy. I will be saving all the money i make to get myself up to 90 Prayer and after that i'll be saving to replace the Dragon and Barrows armour with Bandos and after that the Ranging equipment will be replaces with Armadyl. Do i have all my bases covered? Do i need anything? If you're going to suggest i just use Barrows for everything you're doing so in vein. I'm not concerned about the repair cost or the hastle about rapairing it, i just want to slay in something that i think looks nice. Makes Slayer just a bit more enjoyable. Anyway, after reading the long post, can you see anything missing?

SgS, Tassets, Karil Top, Fire Cape. Should be the best you can get with what you have (and im certain this is the best solo gear you can get anyway). Spec on the Minions. Invo of shark or Rocktails should do. 3 prayer pots, 1 super set.

I get about 1800 Ess an hour on Avarage. I've heard of people getting over 2k a hour though.

Green Dragons in CT gets me 1m an hour on empty worlds. Look at my guide to get the general idea of what to do. Ranging Aviansies gets me about 800k - 900k an hour, once again look at my guide for some help. Other good ways will include Runecrafting Cosmic Runes x2, doing regular Herb Runs aswell as MTK. Barrows is failry decent money if you get lucky with the drops. Spiritual Mages and Abyssal Demons are both great money due to the inflation (83 and 85 Slayer is required respectivly). For Summoning the best way of collecting charms would be through Slayer, this however is not the fastest. The fastest would be Bursting Rock Lobsters or killing Waterfiends.

I quite like using the setup: V Helm and Skirt with Arma Chest. I use it for Arma and for Saradomin. 1 Outfit for 2 Bosses. saves me some money. Guess what i'm trying to say is, go for the Chest. (twhs :o)

I'm kind of annoyed that people like him only play RS for merching and not the actuall game (skilling, combat, minigames). Basically they just mess up the RS economy for those who actually can't afford it (people that needs to buy items, armour, potions, food, skilling equipment. Ofcourse these merchers don't mind because most of them are just in it for the money.
