They should revamp the training point system, make harder bosses give more points than easier ones and put some actually useful rewards in there rather than the ever-so-popular trio of useless cosmetics (override, title, pet). It probably wouldn't help much but it would be a start.

Yes that's true, bonus xp is applied separate from the 3.5x so it's 4.5x. It's close w/ optimizations but I think abyss still edges it out because of the profit. You need to do runespan for massive pouches though

Ok so I did an hour of blood rcing via abyss. Turns out my 160k estimate was pretty good (granted my method was horribly unoptimized as you are about to see): I forgot to keep track of my blood rune count but I think it was around 5.8k for the hour. 99 rc. Even once bloods inevitably crash this should still be make at least 1m/hr bare minimum. Notes: - All 5 available pouches - No avatar bonus - No RAF - No bonux XP - No bonus XP outfit - No presets - No familiar - Repairing pouches at mage - I was attacked twice (no deaths) and had to change surge route / use freedom (minor inconvenience). Shouldn't be an issue when hype dies down. - There seems to be a bug where if you are attacked at a certain point when entering you don't get the 3.5x bonus. 4 of my runs in that hour were base XP. - The click boxes on the altar portals are awful. A lot of my wasted time came from trying to click the blood altar portal. If fully optimized this could push 190k-200k/hr IMO

From some stuff I saw on reddit bloods are around 160k xp/hr (very rough estimate). Runespan maxes around 120k (again, rough estimate)

Yeah, just work on doing it via thalers when it's on good minigames for skilling (sc, heist, ba) and do other comp/trim stuff in the meantime. I wouldn't do castle wars at all until you're already maxed or maxed minus combat

Your #1 priority should be minigames on spotlight since many of them give bxp / actual xp from rewards & combat or other activities in them that will help you slowly max by the time you're done profound

I'd say spirit shields are the hardest to get solely based on drop rates. "The droprate for obtaining a sigil is 1 in 512. The Ring of wealth increases the chance of obtaining a sigil to 1 in 507. If a player hits the sigil drop table, there is a 1 in 8 chance of Elysian, 1 in 8 chance of Divine, 3 in 8 chance of Spectral and 3 in 8 chance of Arcane." + you also need a holy elixir and spirit shield drop IIRC rots shields are 1/80? Not to mention there are 4 chances at one per kill as aforementioned. That being said, it'd be nice for t90 shields to get some sort of special effect to distinguish them from the lot. Maybe 10% cooldown reduction on all defensive abilities or something.

always use portables! http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Portable_well All types of potions made using it give 10% more Herblore experience along with a 5% chance of creating an extra potion. if you don't want to spend money on your own (even I don't) then try "portables" fc and ask if anyone's placing them

Meh, I'm not really content with where I am financially to try raids, so I thought I'd go to arax to try and finish my leg (need middle) 165 kc (first hilt) Didn't end up getting hybrid legs from soulwars but I still got another 15ish hours of wins in or so. I could get them next spotlight, if not then definitely the one after that.
