First article: I hated Behind the Scenes; I find the blogs to be written better, more personalised and slightly humorous (when they chuck in the odd joke or two, I usually crack a smile :)). I follow them on twitter but I'm absolutely hopeless at deciphering the cryptic clues they give us on next week's updates :P. Second Article: I liked this. It was entertaining, could have been written better but nobody is perfect. I play because it kills time, and I find it fun. Yes, I find sitting in front of a computer screen powermining granite for hours on end entertaining. I find it as wierd as most of you probably do! :lol: great stuff guys, please write more articles like this :D.

Sorry, no support. For one, idea isn't properly written. Secondly, skillcapes are just capes. They are nothing more. If you really want to show off your level just use quickchat. I agree that if you have a skillcape it should be wearable in F2P however, if you do wish to make the choice and buy a skillcape for $10 :?. Thirdly, P2P players aren't that bad, except the ones with a grudge against F2P. Those players can go die for all I care. Thanks for your time... :P.

Im sure I made a misinterpreted post before somewhere here, so I would like to redeem myself by saying support. When I was F2P I accidentaly unequipped my skillcape and it annoyed me soo much >.<

Decided to post cause its awesome :^_^: 9/10 for 99 cook, isn't super hard but you're F2P, so it technically is! :D grats as well! 10/10 for 85 mining, my goal on the way to 99 mining <3: and getting this on F2P is an epic achievement. 11/10 for being F2P :P. Keep it up med!

[hide=mining guild and iron ore][/hide] I made a lot off those gems, majority are from powermining iron. They totalled up to around 30-40K. I also mined some coal/mithril for a bit in the mining guild (around 1/2 hour) and made just over 100K :). Its quite relaxing and fun, but I better head off to the quarry tomorrow. Big day ahead of me!

[hide=72 mining][/hide] Levels are much slower now, yet the experience is faster compared to iron. It feels kinda srange cause you expect the levels to fly by after 70, but they don't. Its all good though, cause I feel really pumped for another level :D. I reckon I can get to 77 by the end of the week if I just keep a nice pace going. That means little distractions, if any, but regular breaks in between levels. Once I'm 77, concentrated coal to 80, then from 80-85 concentrated gold. From there, rune mining on weekends and concentrated gold all the way to 99. I like my plans :^_^:. Wish me luck!

L4D2 is a flop in Australia, stupid censorship team >.> they cut out half the good stuff to make it little kid friendly. I wish we'd get an R 18+ rating system soon. At least that so I don't have to murder the entire censorship team for ruining my favourite games... Eh, I'll order it from overseas \:D/

haha very nice, I've never been really good at fixing things though. My Dad is the one for that. He once fixed our entire phone line and saved us heaps of $$$ if we called a repairman. I still have no idea how he did it, but he likes taking things apart as well :lol:. Last time I took something apart, it was by accident (my damn USB crushed when I sat on it) :unsure:. Maybe I'll have a go on my old PS2, who knows what I might learn from it :thumbsup:.

I passed you? Wow, just shows how much no-lifing I've done this week :lol:. Dead Rising isn't especially difficult, but once you get to day 5-7 you need to know where all the survivors are because they are the only source of food once you get to that stage. I am gonna try to complete that achievement eventually, but I'm not really looking forward to it. And I suck really bad at rhythm games, especially stuff like guitar hero where you have to hit the notes perfectly. Damn thats hard :angry:

Im definitely using this. I like watching youtube vids, but I cant when powermining. This solves the problem :D.

[hide=71 mining][/hide] Yeah I know, only one level today. I was gonna try and get the 7 day survivor achievement on Dead Rising today, but I couldn't be bothered. I survived for 2 days then just turned it off. I had another 10 hours to go -.- Tomorrow, I'll be aiming for 73 mining. Then 75. Then 77. Hopefully, before this week is over, I'll be mining away at the coal deposits in living rock caverns :D. PS: Thanks Hedgehog for the awesome granite mining guide! It really, REALLY helps to make the training that much easier :). And, despite only playing for about 2 hours, I really powered through 71 mining. Hopefully 72-77 will be as easy :P. 84K for 72 mining. I'll get cracking tomorrow!

I donate every week to St. Vincent De Paul, and during Christmas I try and do some voluntary work for them, as well as doorknock appeals. This really does do a lot, and I encourage everyone to also give a little (or a lot ;)) to those not just who WANT it, but also NEED it to live a little better during this time. But don't be a slouch, people need help after christmas as well :).

Just making sure: That's: 32.5k/hour xp at rimmington/piscatoris with 0 gold (I'm assuming you don't drop it off) using a rune pick axe? Likewise, no GP from granite mining. Was there any gold involved in woodcutting and fletching? Yeah around there for the iron mining, no gold cause you powermine. Actually, I'd average about 40K an hour at Piscatoris, cause you don't have to move at all. Woodcutting was no cash, you don't bank teaks cause I did it at Ape-Atoll and Ivy don't give you anything (bar seeds, which are hard to give an estimate for gp cause its all random). Fletching, I made just under 100K/hr. That is from stringing, not cutting and stringing though.

Got some info: I've been at piscatoris powermining iron, I get around 35K-40K experience an hour (38K is my average, but its different for a few people; depends how fast you are, whether you are focused, etc). Rimmington mines, whilst powermining, is around 30-35K an hour at level 60+, my average was 32K an hour. Difference between piscatoris and rimmington is that you can mine 3 ores in about 4-7 sceonds whilst rimmington you can mine 3 ores in about 5-8 seconds. Of course the times are a bit off because I didn't time individual ores, just the overall exp/hr :). Granite mining (there is only one mine where you can mine it, forgot the name though) is around 50-80K experience an hour. A better rate is around 55-70K an hour (70K if you are really fast and focused, 55K if you are focused but aren't as fast). Woodcutting, I averaged 75K at Ivy at 99. Teaks are around 65-70K, I averaged 69K an hour. Fletching: stringing bows, I averaged around 110K/hr experience, I'm a bit off though. I got 99 fletching beginning of this year and exp rates are a bit fuzzy to me. All I really remember is stringing yew longbows, sorry :P. If I get some more I'll post them. These are just the ones I remember or have info on, from various sources and people :).

If I can start getting some cash coming through for frming and other skills, I'll be able to powermine granite more, which means quicker exp :P. Feel sorry for you, small breaks aren't fun. They never lass long enough :(. Yep, break officialy starts now :D! Just got home from cricket so I'll have until 8:30 pm to get some mining time in (Aliens is on at 8:30 so I don't wanna miss it :lol:). Cricket wasn't that good though. I took a catch at point, but it didn't mean anything. By drinks we had them 2/42 off 29 overs. Then, we just fell apart. Bowling was bad, fielding was alright but it could've been better. They scored 160 runs in 25 overs :wall:. Ah well, next Saturday is a new day. We have 58 overs to beat 200-odd, and the pitch + grass are in our favour whilst batting. Looking forward to owning some peeps next week :thumbsup:. Okay, enough about my life. Off to get 70 mining and buy a D Pick!
