Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I got Modern Warfare 2 on PC for Christmas, not sure if online is gonna be any good though (I heard there are no ded servers :o). Anyways, I'm still looking forward to playing it. Its still installing . So, really, I'm just wondering if its worth playing multiplayer? And I've never actually played Modern Warfare but I know the storyline at least :P, so I don't really know about all the jargon you guys use. I'll catch onto it over the holidays because I'll be playing it a lot.

Tip.it Times 20 December 2009
Great articles  I agree with the cooking article, but if they were to relese a Higher-levelled food it really should be untradeable (if it heals over 30 hp of course). It just gives an incentive to actually make the food yourself. And, I'd get on RSOF as soon as possible to see all the 12 year old pkers crying about the untradeable foodz which they cant make . Second article I found quite interesting. Every pmod I've met has being nice, yes even after that day they announced a revamp of pmod selection. I find most to be friendly and mature. But I take your word for it; there's always your "tyrants" out there that go rogue and mute people because they "dun like dem". Still, excellent articles once again! Keep it up guys :D.

Prices for looks? Really?
Its all aesthetics really. If the Dragon platelegs look better than the skirt, expect the platelegs to cost more because of the demand. In all fairness d skirt looks quite bad. Even though looks shouldn't matter, it does to most people now (for example, dragon equipment is now obsolete, and considered a waste of time. Far better gear is out there). What they should do is graphically rework d skirt so it looks kinda like the tassets of bandos. That would look extremely mad IMO :D.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Dead Rising atm, I have completed the saint, group photo, costume party, full set, clothes horse, PP Collector, Psycho photo, Perfect Gunner, hella copter and about 3 other achievements this week. I am trying to get all 50. Currently 43/50 :). Still trying to get snuff shot J/B, Transmissionary, 5 and 7 day survivor, psycho collector and one or two more (I think I still gotta get frank the pimp lmfao). Yeah, I'm nearly done with the game. Its taken a whole year, but I've nearly done everything. Over 100 hours playtime easily on that game .

Sonic - rip blogging
Not really, for me at least. I actually like the messages so I would know when I got what and what. And you wouldn't get nightmares. :P Well I did ., anyway, nice progress there sonic! I'd suggest mining your own essence. It might cost you more in TIME, but you'll make up that loss in profit from runecrafting for sure  Keep it up, almost 1000 total :D.

[hide=74 mining][/hide] Curse my viruses! I'd have this level about 2 days ago if I wasn't forced to play rs as laggy as it is. Ah well, it could be worse I guess. Actually, no it couldn't. I'll get 77 sometime next week if possible -.-.

Black Sheeps in Lumbridge
They are round here, we have a 'spring holiday' and, to prove a point, rather than having a two-week holiday with Easter right in the middle, one year they had it a week after Easter to prove a point. Ridiculous really. Also, the fact that people are offended by the dialogue is ridiculous, it's "special" because it's different. The fact that being black makes it different is just a coincidence more than anything, but it's a coincidence that people are annoyingly going to take the wrong way. The sheeps are black, and when you try to shear them it says "They are special, try shearing the white ones". It's offensive to me because i don't see a good reasons as to why this dialogue should be there? Is there a good reason for this dialogue? If so, what is that reason? I find it totally unecessary and don't see how it's related to the quest. And knowing that there are players who don't do quests, i bet they will find it offensive. Black sheeps are fair, but when you add a dialogue like that to it...then it's all of sudden negative (even though dialogue states that the sheeps are SPECIAL). :wall: It says that because you only sheer the black sheep during the quest, because the wool is required. This means that F2P players can't just buy EVERYTHING they need of the ge. There ARE black sheep in the world, not just WHITE sheep that get sheared. Honestly, they crossed no boundaries. Its a RL type of sheep and has nothing to do with its damn colour. Saying they're special doesn't mean that its racist either. Tell you why? Cause its a damn sheep. OT: Yes its great that they are reworking the F2P quests. Its a good initiative and it brings more money... errr... players... into the game :P. Good to see that the rewards are been bumped up as well. I found the current rewards for F2P players quite low :?.

Okay I opened the file in notepad and this is what came up: # Copyright © 1993-2006 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one # space. # # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol. # # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host 127.0.0.1 localhost ::1 localhost If you meant something else please let me know. Thanks for all the help so far :) EDIT: I also have a file called imhosts.sam, in case you needed this here is the contents. # Copyright © 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample LMHOSTS file used by the Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to computernames # (NetBIOS) names. Each entry should be kept on an individual line. # The IP address should be placed in the first column followed by the # corresponding computername. The address and the computername # should be separated by at least one space or tab. The "#" character # is generally used to denote the start of a comment (see the exceptions # below). # # This file is compatible with Microsoft LAN Manager 2.x TCP/IP lmhosts # files and offers the following extensions: # # #PRE # #DOM:<domain> # #INCLUDE <filename> # #BEGIN_ALTERNATE # #END_ALTERNATE # \0xnn (non-printing character support) # # Following any entry in the file with the characters "#PRE" will cause # the entry to be preloaded into the name cache. By default, entries are # not preloaded, but are parsed only after dynamic name resolution fails. # # Following an entry with the "#DOM:<domain>" tag will associate the # entry with the domain specified by <domain>. This affects how the # browser and logon services behave in TCP/IP environments. To preload # the host name associated with #DOM entry, it is necessary to also add a # #PRE to the line. The <domain> is always preloaded although it will not # be shown when the name cache is viewed. # # Specifying "#INCLUDE <filename>" will force the RFC NetBIOS (NBT) # software to seek the specified <filename> and parse it as if it were # local. <filename> is generally a UNC-based name, allowing a # centralized lmhosts file to be maintained on a server. # It is ALWAYS necessary to provide a mapping for the IP address of the # server prior to the #INCLUDE. This mapping must use the #PRE directive. # In addtion the share "public" in the example below must be in the # LanManServer list of "NullSessionShares" in order for client machines to # be able to read the lmhosts file successfully. This key is under # \machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\lanmanserver\parameters\nullsessionshares # in the registry. Simply add "public" to the list found there. # # The #BEGIN_ and #END_ALTERNATE keywords allow multiple #INCLUDE # statements to be grouped together. Any single successful include # will cause the group to succeed. # # Finally, non-printing characters can be embedded in mappings by # first surrounding the NetBIOS name in quotations, then using the # \0xnn notation to specify a hex value for a non-printing character. # # The following example illustrates all of these extensions: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino #PRE #DOM:networking #net group's DC # 102.54.94.102 "appname \0x14" #special app server # 102.54.94.123 popular #PRE #source server # 102.54.94.117 localsrv #PRE #needed for the include # # #BEGIN_ALTERNATE # #INCLUDE \\localsrv\public\lmhosts # #INCLUDE \\rhino\public\lmhosts # #END_ALTERNATE # # In the above example, the "appname" server contains a special # character in its name, the "popular" and "localsrv" server names are # preloaded, and the "rhino" server name is specified so it can be used # to later #INCLUDE a centrally maintained lmhosts file if the "localsrv" # system is unavailable. # # Note that the whole file is parsed including comments on each lookup, # so keeping the number of comments to a minimum will improve performance. # Therefore it is not advisable to simply add lmhosts file entries onto the # end of this file. Thanks again :)

No level today, my computer has a virus and it took me until 8:00PM to get rid of it (I only found out around 2:00PM :P). Only 1 day to go, less than 12 survivors left :D.- Runecrafting Guide - An Insiders Look at Runecrafting
[hide=flame warz] Actually, I did not get this piece of runecrafting advice from him, it was just a video I found that shows the method. He's not the fastest runecrafter out there either. If your computer is laggier, it's even better to use the L method, as it is simpler as well as faster. You think you'd beat me in a rc race, how many nats do you do per hour? (completely off topic and immature but k) I feel like the person posting the guide is out of their league, because this is one of the most basic runecrafting techniques out there. The OP is being stubborn, and won't acknowledge the correct method. Is telling someone they're wrong flaming? [/hide] You obviously don't understand. It is his personal preference and he finds it faster, if he stated that at the beginning of the guide it doesn't mean he is telling you WHAT to do, just giving you a few options as to HOW YOU DO IT. This isn't set in stone, and its half a bloody second; this is ridiculous. Getting back to what I was GOING to say... Great guide. I don't runecraft much but I'll get back into it sometime next year, possibly after I finish mining. I'm a sucker for the harder skills :P. I'll definitely be using this guide as much as I can. I like your personal preferences and I will probably use your methods, cause my computr isn't the best and a few that you've suggested cater well to my internet connection :). Oh, next week will be mostly off rs, because its Christmas AND my birthday (birthday is Christmas Eve :D). So expect like one or two levels at the max next week, unless I decide to waste my Christmas on an online game... Nah! Because of that, I won't be getting 85 mining until sometime next year, probably first two weeks. Life calls :P.- Sonic - rip blogging
