  1. That'd be great :D. Once I hit 80 hit me up sometime :). And I kinda agree with you on 99 farming, well the prices at least :P. Gonna cost my a small fortune but I should be able to make back all the cash... Well, hopefully. As far as training farming, it's pretty easy.
  2. [hide=99 farming plan]99 Farming Will be doing: * Tree Runs * Fruit Tree Runs * Calquat Tree Runs Level Start: 50 Level End: 99 Total Cost (subject to change): Seeds required (trees): Maple: 49 seeds Yew: 1806 seeds (omg...) Seeds Required (fruit trees): Pineapple: 20 seeds exactly Papaya: approx. 66 seeds Palm: approx. 1231 seeds (bullcrap ). Seeds Required (Calquat): Calquat: 1 Per Day, no calculations required (simply buy them everyday, one at a time till 99). *** IMPORTANT *** The number of seeds I will require is not accurate in any way. I have calculated most of the seeds to certain levels, but these will be off because the calculator assumes you are doing nothing but that type of tree in any given run. So, I will be buying seeds a few at a time rather than buying them all in one go, in case I'm off with my calculations and end up spending more than I should have. LEVELS levels 50-51: I'll be finishing off my willows, till 51. levels 51-60: Mixture of pineapple and papaya seeds, with Maple as my main source of experience. levels 60-68: Yews with Palm levels 68-72: Yews with Palm, plant my spirit tree at brimhaven, start calquat runs until 99. levels 72-99: Will be doing Yews and Palm, calquat daily. TOTAL COST Of course, this will be off, as I'm only adding up the seeds current prices on the grand exchange. Not taking into account payments for farmers (although I'll stop paying once I hit yew trees, as the death rate is only 14% with supercompost). I'm also not taking into account the cost of all my other supplies, dead trees, and all those little things that are too annoying or insignificant (or just plain impossible) to work out via tip.it calculator and my poor aching head :P. Okay, so: Maple Seeds (49): 2,758,700gp Yew Seeds (1806): 215,275,200gp Pineapple Seeds (20): 324,000gp Papaya Seeds (66): 3,352,800gp Palm Seeds (1231): 130,486,000gp Total "cost": 352,196,700gp Not ncluding payments, pots, supercompost, and dead seeds (calquat excluded, I'll be paying for those).[/hide] Don't freak out! I'm still going with 99 mining, but once I hit 85 mining I've decided I'll be rune mining during weekdays, and also do farming runs during then with the cash from my rune mining (I'll still post my rune ore count, but I won't have anything to price check :P). It takes, like ~20 minutes for a farming run, then I can rune mine for the rest of the night (if I get any spare time of course lol). Because I never get any time to actually mine on weekdays for experience, I reckon it'd be better to maximise profits and focus on exp. gain on weekdns rather than moneymaking. Hopefully I don't stray too far from my diabolical plan of pwnage  (obviously, it isn't that evil, but I like the smiley). So, there you have it; you know my runescape plans for the next year (or do you? Watch this space ;)).
  3. Getting in a bit of mining each evening, only 10K today but every little bit counts :). My Dad is been kinda stupid and won't let me touch the computer at all on weekdays (don't really get that but I always do my work and get good grades in school, so he's being stupid tbh). Well, screw that, the mine calls. I feel like a one man army facing an evil tyrant and his oppressive rule, only that tyrant is pretty much the king of my little corner of the world so :?. Anyway, apart from the rousing feeling of "rebellion" (I'm laughing at that as we speak ) I'm feeling good about tomorrow. I will be able to get home early and don't think I'll get much homework... Well, no maths homework anyway. Maths homework is pretty easy anyway, it's just the constant study and tests that come up... In fact, we have a test this Friday so I have to study for that... 70% or higher or I get cut from the class :o. So kinda worried about that. Just gotta study hard and smart. It's only Quadratics, it's all easy stuff... Just have trouble remembering EVERYTHING to do with it. So I gotta pretty much memorise the entire chapter in my textbook. Well, I'll continue to chip away at mining, so its less work this weekend... After my cricket game of course :P. Oh, I also hear that Gold is around 60K exp an hour with D pick. Cash is pretty good, but experience is all I'm worried about tbh... Rune mining is my source of income for the next year or so . Well, if it is around 60K an hour than I'll have no trouble getting to 85. Hopefully I get a lot of days free to mine and such. PS: over 500K experience from last week! That weekly experience tracker is great . Credits to mauranius for having it on his blog, otherwise I'd never of known about it :P. Phew, that was a mouthful...
  4. 10/10 I can't sant collecting charms (or combat for that matter...) so you have my respect :P.
  5. I believe the problem here has two sides to it; One where there are stronger bosses, and the other where there are harder bosses. Stronger bosses aren't that flash. Sure, they have the drops, the max hits, and everything else, but in the end its just a little (or big) object moving around a screen which you have to whack with your sword/shoot at/firebomb until it dies. No strategy involved, unless you count spamming food and pots to be strategy (of course, there are probably many more things required in boss fights but I don't ven do combat. But don't shun my post just yet ;)). Now, harder bosses are what we should see. As stated earlier, bosses such as Tormented Demons, which require practice and some skill to do well at, are the kinds of bosses we need. Sure, we're nowhere near that are just yet, but with a little imagination and development we could see some great bosses appear. We now have curses, some awesome combat gear and some more spells to use for the higher levels, which can come into play. For example, a boss that requires you to switch prayers frequently (or curses), requires the player to atack from all three sides of the combat triangle (or get a friend to help if they're magic is low, as a small example), force you to relocate every 10-20 seconds (possibly a surface area attack that can hit multiple tiles in the room?). All the content we have now I reckon is bieng wasted, making it just another grind for some hilt or tiny piece of a bigger sword, that really takes away from the whole experience. To stop the grinding, we can ensure that every player that faces this uber-ownage boss gets a good reward (maybe 50K each battle) and make sure that the battles don't finish in two minutes or less. A high summoning level will be required, so you can take extra items or to give you a REQUIRED bonus to a certain stat (for example, some players may be tasked with maging whist carrying extra supplies for the meleers, and extra bolts/arrows for the rangers). All these little or big things that you can use are bieng wasted in favour of bigger, stronger boss monsters that require no skill whatsoever, and amount to nothing but piling it with a flurry of melee or range attacks until its health hits rock bottom. If they actually got creative and developed a boss that was HARD to fight, than we might not need to worry about a HP buffer for some time :).
  6. After a while going for my third 99 (mining, crazy ) I can safely say that how easy a skill is is dependant on your personal preference. So far, I've found Mining to be quite easy, literally in comparison with fletching only because I am actually enjoying my time sitting there clicking and dropping granite (or clicking and waiting at LRC ;)). So, I guess what I'm saying is that even though a skill may be fast, it doesn't mean everyone will be able to sit there and train it. I can't stand firemaking, so I won't be getting that to 99 for quite some time. I also hate summoning, and will probably never get over 60 in the skill. Of course, if a skill is quite fast it will instantly be deemed "easier" by the majority of people who train it, but remember; the guy spending hours training runecrafting to 99 might be finding it easier than you are getting 99 fletching ;).
  7. I like it a lot, but I find that I have too many games to play and it is one of my lesser priorities, so for now I like it but I'll probably stop playing by the end of the year.
  8. [hide=79 mining][/hide] Took me about 6-7 hours O_o Anyway, I'm gonna take a break next week and only mine a little each day, then I'll get 80 sometime next weekend. Hopefully I can reach 92 before the end of the semester. I always find that 92-99 is easier than xx-92, because It always feels like you have to get up heaps of leels when you're in the 70's to 80's, but once you get to 92 it's just a matter of one level at a time... Really easy and relaxing rather than the big rush to meet major deadlines that fit in with your daily schedule . Until next week I guess :P. I'll still keep you guys updated on my daily experience gains for next week, but don't expect a level... Unless I go miner macho and power through the experience, or I get a break from schoolwork... Eh, thats about it I suppose :^_^:.
  9. I suggest you read my post again. There are a few ways to not get exp. Sorry, posted that just as you posted and closed the window . If all these ways work and stop me from getting booted, then I'll do them :). Thanks for the help. Definitely going to be doing penguins to make the experience faster, and all my exp. lamps go toward summoning :D. Although getting it just on penguins and xp lamps would take quite a while :P. I almost forot about tears *facepalm*. Summoning isn't my lowest skill though :(. Eh, I'll probably get all my other skills higher than it anyway :P. Thanks for the helpful reminder :). Okay, looks like I'm all set so far. I can work out cost and all that other stuff later, but I have all the info I need at the moment (like how many charms I'll need, how amny games I need to win and how much zeal I require, etc.). SW mixed with weekly penguins and some xp lamps should (hopefully) take little morethan a month for 57. Thanks again for all the help, but if you have any more info do share :).
  10. Never mind, you do gain combat experience while playing... I'll probably go in and range for SW then lol and take the hitpoints experience. As long as I don't gain two combat levels while I'm there I should be fine . I got all the charms, cost, etc. Worked out, so I'll probably just go to SW with some iron knives and help out the team a little... not that I'll be able to do much. In other words, I'll be a semi-freeloader, but I can't do anything about that :(. I feel slack lol.
  11. If Soul Wars gives combat experience while playing then I'll have to skip it. Oh well. I'll probably buy a cannon and go get the charms that way. Why does a skill that provides so many benefits for skilling have to be absed on combat to train :wall:. You can do soul wars without gaining any combat xp. 10hp pures do it. Use any random rewards on the xp lamp and use on summoning. Oh, so SW doesn' give Combat experience when playing? If it doesn't then I'll just use that for my charms. *facepalm*. I'll double-check because I have two different answers, but I should be covered for charms anyways :P. Thanks for all the help guys!
  12. cannon ranged is good but in the end will cost him a heap more than before. Anything that is easy going, like merching, collecting nightshades, etc. Basically easy things that help you break even while you alch. Anything that provides a profit of over 100K an hour is definitely worth it. And yeah, farming while alching is kinda stupid, you might as well go with hunter as well if you are going to farm :P.
  13. If Soul Wars gives combat experience while playing then I'll have to skip it. Oh well. I'll probably buy a cannon and go get the charms that way. Why does a skill that provides so many benefits for skilling have to be absed on combat to train :wall:. So I can spare one combat level if I get 57 summoning? Dang thats cutting it quite close :?. I guess I'll have to cannon slayer tasks for charms until I get enough for 57, but I'll probably do Penguins and XP lamps before that to lower the cost for cannonballs and the cannon itself. If I get 70M, at least 60M is going into farming anyway :P. So I need to make sure I'm not spending too much.
  14. Okay, thanks for the quick response :). So, if I have 4 combat levels to spare, I can slay for some charms (till I hit 97 combat) then possibly cannon the rest of the tasks? Even though it costs a lot I'll have the cash I think... Assuming that I cannon the tasks, how long will that take? Not including penguins and all that. Of course it will be stimates but I don't really mind, a vague idea will do me :P. Still gotta know how much its gonna cost me (estimate of course) and what minigames give summoning experience, but NO combat experience. ... Actually, I forgot about Soul Wars. Is the charm rate worth it there, if I play on a good team? I've never played it before though. And, does it give me combat experience? I don't wanna spend money on skills like range and combat if I don't need to after all :P. I need the rest of the cash for farming. So basically... * Is soul wars worth it? * If not, how should I gather charms? * How much will 57 summoning cost me from 35? Thanks again for all the help/responses :).
  15. I plan to go Nat runecrafting in the future, and Spirit Graahk is by far the best option for me. Problem is, I have no clue how to gather charms, because all my Summoning levels have been from experience lamps :P. Also, it might seem strange to stay under 100 combat, but I have a reason, but I'd rather keep that close to my chest for now... Anyway, I need to know: * How to gather charms effectively, without getting combat experience or levels * What minigames I should do to get extra Summoning experience from (other than penguins, which I'll be doing weekly after my mining goal). * How much it will cost (approximately) from 35 summoning, using whatever charms I can get. I should have around 70M once I start actually training summoning, though, so cost shouldn't be a problem. I'd also appreciate it if anyone could work out how many combat levels I would gain from 35-57 summoning :). Thanks for your help :D.
  16. According to my progress bar I'm half of the way there to 85 mining :D. 130K experience to go, I've done all my study and homework so I can get back to LRC and get 79. Then I have all week to evote to schoolwork, balance it out with a bit of mining until the weekend where I'll get 80.
  17. Thanks Medi . Great work on your goals as well, max F2P is a daunting task, but an awesome accomplishment once you reach it :D. Thanks . I've been using it for a bit and (lthough it takes a little getting used to) I can already notice the difference. Still, I kinda miss granite :P. I missed granite a lot too. Sometimes I would have to take a break from concentrated to mine granite for a few hours. Even now, I miss granite. I'm going to have to go back some time soon. Good luck Same here. I'll probably take some time off (which will be when I keep getting a bad sreak of rock striker hits -.-) and go mine granite. Helps speed things upa bit, and any cash I'd miss out on is saved by my weekly rune trips (once I hit 85 of course :P). I woke up really earl ths morning, so I'm kinda tired. I have to go somewhere anyway in about an hour, so I'll be out for about an hour and a half. When I get home I'll do some mining, but I'll have to stop and do my homework for all my subjects (well, mainly maths). Once thats all done, I'll do about a half hour's study then get back on runescape. All in all, I'll probably be mining for about 5-6 hours. Pretty good if you ask me . Calculations: Assuming that I get around 25-30K exp an hour (Let's just say 27.5K for simplicity's sake) I should get around 160K experience. So, I'll probably mine about another half hour before I go to bed to ge the level, then work on 80 up till the weekend. Wow, everything just seems to fall into place . Homework won't take more than an hour (including study) so I should be able to get in all that mining time :).
  18. [hide=78 mining][/hide] Well, Coal is only about 30-40K an hour at max, so I'm averaging around 32K exp/hr. I've been mining for around 5 hours now, so I'm pretty much burned . Still, two levels in one day is pretty neat. I *might* get 79 tomorrow, but seeing how long it will take me with 169K experience to go, I'll have to mine all day, and I've got homework/study to do. So maybe another time :). I'll try and get in a few hours of runescape though. Even though the experience is kinda slow, It's still quite good. The only thing I hate is the living rock stalkers; they always stay aggro on me, so I have to leave the cavern then get back in everytime I'm attacked by them, and they always seem to be drawn to me -.-. It seems that any player under level 100 is fair game. Well, once I start mining gold there'll be more people around me, so less chance of me getting singled out (hopefully :P). Gold is around 60K/hr and about 250K gp/hr, so I can't wait till I hit 80. And, once I hit 85, I'll be rune mining every weekend and adding a couple more mills to my cash pile. Hopefully I can average around 2-3M a week, and that will fund me for quite some time. But I don't want to get ahead of myself. My major goal is in front of e, and even though I've got a lot more work to do, I've done it twice before. Even if those two before were a shorter journey, they are, quoting a friend of mine, "same crap, different smell". In other words, they're all the same and all the rules apply; just varying methods and time frames :). Gold, here I come {$}_{$}.
  19. Thanks for all that info :). I had to get rid of my torrent downloaders because they weren't allowed at all. I use firefox (latest version) with adblock plus, an excellent add-on that ahs pretty much gotten rid of all annoying pop-ups that I used to get. I'll also look into foxit, because I've also heard about Adobe and their loopholes, but never knew of another program that read PDF files :wall:. Still, I'm a bit concerned that my firewall didn't appear in my hijackthis report the first time; Unless it doesn't appear at all. But still, if anyone still cannot see it in the above report (I don't know what to look for...) let me know:). Thanks for all the helpful suggestions so far!
  20. You should just go with either slightly profitable or cheap high alching methods, but be prepared to pay in the latr stages if you are going for anything higher than 70+ mage. Making your own stuff becomes time consuming and quite boring, so you'll want to buy -> alch anything that is currently the cheapest, such as yew longbows (even though these aren't the cheapest, they are the easiest to buy imo).
  21. Gonna get this for sure :P frank west as a playable character is just too fun to pass up. Some of his moves (like the baseball and megaman blast) pretty much scream comicl genius. The added zombies in his moves make it all the more fun :D.
  22. Very nice!. I see that Australia is a shading of green there... very nice by me :XD:. Awesome retweet as well. Hopefully you'll make some more vids, 'cause you have talent :D.
  23. Thanks . I've been using it for a bit and (lthough it takes a little getting used to) I can already notice the difference. Still, I kinda miss granite :P.
  24. Changed :). Thanks again for the support/  thanks Saru. Added to support list :). If you want to I can get some ideas going :). Just that because I'm back at school and I have to do HSC maths in year 11 instead of year 12, I'm kinda busy studying and other stuff. But once I get some spare time in my schedule I'll send you some rough ideas :). Good deal. Looking forward to doing that. Awesome :D. I'll have some ideas written up by the end of the week.
