[hide=75 mining][/hide] My first level for the new year :). Time to go get 77 and stop slacking off. Really looking forward to LRC. I wanna try and get 77 by the end of the week, because they'll start piling on the work in the second and third week of school...

Worst bit about Maths is I suppose i'm disadvantaged, compared to the others in the class. I was in B, which only learns the part of the Maths course that the A (The top) class did. Although I did top the B class (apart from the Japanese exchange student, who was only in our class 'cause the top classes teacher apparently expained it too fast for her or something) I still didn't do the extra crap. Plus, the teacher goes through everything fairly fast, not giving me enought time, so I have to put more effort in after class. But, oh well. Hopefully i'll do well. Exact thing is happening to me at the moment because I got bumped up to the highest maths class... and I hate maths. So that means the subject I hate I'll have to focus on all through year 10 and 11, assuming I stay in accelerated then go on to extensin maths next year... Hoping that my teacher doesn't rush like my last one did :P.

Windows 7 is pretty damn amazing tbh :D. Its basically easy to use, reliable so far, and looks like vista but even better this time around (of course that's debatable, if you didn't like how vista looked before then you probably won't like the theme of Windows 7 now :P). But all these little features that seem insignificant (like having thumbnail view of all your open internet windows, or being able to instantly minimise all windows not currently in use by shaking your open window) actually get used quite frequently. So, yeah, if you're thinking of upgrading anytime soon; do it :D. Warning though; If you're upgrading From XP, it will wipe your drive, so you'll need a portable hard drive if you want to keep all your files. An upgrade from vista is extremely easy however). Just a quick update; Another 12K down, was playing while my patch was installing and it actually isn't that bad. I've got a cricket game tomorrow so I'll be going to bed now. Only 36K till 75 mining, so I'll finish that off tomorrow probs, then I'll get back on WaW and CoD 4. See you all tomorrow :).

Just got a quick 12K experience, so only 48K till 75 :). I'll finish it off either Saturday or Sunday. I'd continue playing, but I've finished downloading all my CoD 5 patches, and I have to install them, so rs will run really slow in Swiftkit :P. EDIT: 7th page :o. Almost as big as my old blog I think... Maybe a bit smaller. Eh, most of the posts are mine but whatever :lol:.

My school started on thursday also, 7 to 12 though, not fragmented. I don't have half as much work as you do, but maths is pretty heavy on me this year, so I can understand runescape looking like a little pathetic speck in the spectrum :P.

War of Legends is a nice diversion of my time, only takes around 10 minutes maximum to do everything I need to do for the day (because it runs in realtime, I can just leave it to do its thing :thumbsup:). I have a maths test first lesson back, to see where we are at the moment and for some revision. They really don't muck around -.-. Anyway, that means that I will be studying for that test, but that also means that I won't have much time for any other game except runescape :lol:. So, I'll try and get 75 this weekend, then 77 by the end of the week, but I'm not making any promises at the moment ;). Oh, forgot to mention; I got windows 7 today! It's great, I mean it's REALLY great. Vista was so damn annoying and this is just perfect! I've being playing all my games with no problems at all so far and everything has run smoothly. It's a nice break from the constant blue screens that I got and the incessant (run as administrator) option for most of my games :P. This means that I will be able to play runescape on max graphics with no "lag" (not a good term but whatever) due to choppy framerate or other associated issues with a crap graphics card. So, I'll be starting tomorrow after cricket and getting right in there. Only have 60K experiene till I get level 75 anyways, so it'll be a walk in the park :).

To finish up the night, 1.5K rep, level 5 palace and over 30K gold tucked away safely. I'll continue to invade level 1 woods when I get home tomorrow, cause my wood is severely behind all my other resources (and considring that wood is used in pretty much every building process in the game, I'll need a lot of it). One question: Is it better to occupy or invade wilds? Because I'm looking for more wood, but if I can get more in the long run (I'm back at school now so that leaves a lot of time for my resources to replenish once I'm back at home) I might occupy two each day for a boost to my wood gathering for the day.

Back at school today! I got my timetable, classes, and my new math class today. Turns out we are in the same class as last year, so I'm with all my friends again, and all my teachers I've either had before and get along with or have heard good things about. Also, don't know whether this is good or abd but, I made it into accelerated maths for year 10, meaning that I do my HSC for Maths in year 11 *gulp*. I can drop out if I want to, but I won't; It gives you an extra chance to do well, bcause you can always redo it in year 12 if you fail/get a mark you didn't like. So, another day, another school year and a new start to my mining goal! I can get started on soe serious powermining once I get my brand new windows 7 home premium either tonight, tomorrow night or on the weekend; whichever proves to be the most available time slot :P.

A beaut 99 to get for your first! Woodcutting is one of my favourite skills. Whats even more impressive is that you did it off yews and magics; I was doing it on eucalyptus before I eventually gave in and got it off teaks :lol:. Great commitment and an awesome cape/emote! Congrats to you :D.

Just started to invade a level 1 wildy, I am running really low on wood again though; While all my resources are over 20K (highest is 50K for copper) I only have about 9 or 10K wood... So I'll be constantly invading woodland wildy for all the tasks and to get rep for my next outskirt rank :). Has anyone heard anything about resetting RG? I hope they don't do it anytime soon... I'm going pretty well so far :P.

I'm happy with any, but voted RG just because I'm currently there :P. Oh, we should pick a location we are going to situate ourselves in (I'm assuming FP atm, but whatever we decide on) then we can decide on a server based on number of players and stuff like that :).

Aww right! Just hit 1K rep after invading a level 0 wildy (I'll probably go for a level 1 or 2 next, whoa stand back :lol:). Hoping to hit 2K rep sometime next week, if I can get enough resources to train some more swordsmen than I should be able to handle it. Hopefully. EDIT: Just got outskirts minister as well, and my population just reached 4K ^.^

The first Golden Horde in Red Dragon, when the beta first started. Everyone post on my thread on the WoL forums! It's about extra buildings slots for veteran beta players, and can be edited if anyone else comes up with ideas for us/them. Here. It isn't very well written but still. Hang on, do I count as one of these beta veterans? Because I'm planning to stick to this game for a few years, and I'd like to benefit. I'll still post anyway, but I'm still confused as to what category I fit into currently. I'm not sure if we're still in beta yet :lol:. I'm hearing a lot of conflicting stories. At the moment, I'll assume that I'm a beta veteran and post my support :thumbup:.

Nice name for a governor :thumbup: Yeah, once you get to lvl 10 palace you can attack others only if they have a lvl 10 or higher palace as well. You can also set your status afterwards so you have a certain period of time where people can't attack you, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't last forever. Basically, once you get to lvl 10 palace you're fair game.

If you live in America, you're bound to get a good connection, because you are given priority to host (there are more Americans playing online then there are Australians, well for me anyway). And they're given priority anyway because they get a better connection to begin with (I'd average around a 3 bar connection on the computer, but that was good enough to play normally). Problem is, American players often host on other games like WaW and Halo 3 and I still get a full bar connection, but never with MW2. Hopefully they've realised the issue, and are working to give us a better connection sometime in the future. Not many friends I know play it anymore because of the crap connections they get every game. EDIT: It seems that people are trying to get a local search option to be added to the game. Problem is that Australian players get paired up with a primarily American game, instead of grouping us all together in a game so we have a half-decent connection, like 3 bars. But no, it seems that they "overlooked" this feature. I get great games on WaW because of this. As well as Halo 3, and all my other games. But they didn't add this in. Lots of Australian gamers are getting pretty fed up about it. I don't think I'll be playing much MW2 until they fix it sadly :(.

I WOULD get left 4 dead 2, but michael [bleep]ing atkinson screwed it up for me. No good. The graphics are all toned down so they're just a pile of garbage, they turned it into an M rated game with an MA sticker on the cover. It is even LESS violent than left 4 dead 1... So yeah, they pretty much killed the game over here. Have fun you guys :P. PS: What is the online like?

Dead Space 2 for sure now. On the main page they have a twitter and a facebook which you can follow/become a fan, and they also have a newsletter which they send out to keep you updated. From what I've seen, this game is gonna rule. PS: There's multiplayer! I'd assume its survivors vs necromorphs, but who knows what they'll make up ;).

Anyone from Australia here that gets constantly yellow or red barred? And are IW planning to fix this connection problem anytime soon? My omputer connection was always green, but now I go play xbox live and its yellow or red. In other words, I keep getting my assed kicked because I'm a second slower than everyone else. Connections are great for all my other games, WaW, Halo 3, BIA: HH etc. but this game is just ridiculously bad connections for anyone living in Australia -.-. So, if you're experiencing the problem or know if there going to fix it please let me know...

Just realised that I'm on royal garden... It says so in the URL :wall:. Okay, I'm pretty much powering through my resources at the moment. Not too excessively, but quite fast. Only got 3K wood left :o. All around me there's level 6+ wildy, so I gotta go further north for some lvl 0 or 1 wildy, but they're all flatland and I don't wanna invade a piece of land that won't give me anything I can benefit from (I've got enough on my plate taking care of one city at the moment :P). Nearly 1K rep :D.

It really doesn't. Okay, so after playing for a couple of hours it isn't that hard, unless you get a red-bar connection like me EVERY DAMN GAME. It's ridiculous how much that happens, and I have a pretty damn good connection. Did IW delibrately make sure that no AUS players got to host or what? Because every time someone in America is the host I get red or yellow bar. So yeah, I have to be three times as cautious... Still, little practice with the throwing knife and I'm getting a lot better. Hard to time it when It takes me three seconds on my end to release the damn thing though -.-

Okay, just applied for Golden Horde. Still slowly but surely building up my city. I'll probably play this on the side of MW2/WaW on 360 and Runescape, because its that kinda game where you don't have to sit at your computer for hours on end :P. I'm still learning though. Pretty confused atm (I can't even remember which server I joined Oo).
